Rouge et Diable - Canot, Kayak et SUP Tremblant

A really fun activity to do in the summer months in Mont Tremblant.
We stopped at a few sand bars and enjoyed the sun, played Frisbee and swam in the crystal clear waters. Loads of fun!

Friendly staff, excellent section of the river, lots of beaches to stop at. Fun section of rapids. You will get wet! Love the otter and kayak logo. You should do hats and t-shirts

I highly recommend these guys and will be back with other groups of visiting friends! They took care of all the more difficult stuff and left the rest to us for DIY fun. Price was very reasonable.

We chose the "La Traquil" tour by kayak. We simply showed up at the parking, were efficiently given life vests and paddles that fit well and were in good condition, got a quick briefing, then walked down a short path to the river bank where the kayaks and dock were. They helped us in and out of the water with the kayaks, and the rest was up to us as no guide accompanied us on the water. This was perfect. We could go at our own pace and enjoy the beautiful scenery. The entire trip was down-river and the current flowed strongly enough that you almost didn't need to paddle, but at the same time, the water was very calm and there were no rapids at all. Almost like inner-tubing! There were clear kilometer markers posted all along the route, the end point was very clear, and the guides were waiting at the dock to help us out. They took care of loading all the equipment onto the trailer, and we took a very short bus ride back to the parking place where we could sit and enjoy the water and snacks we had brought at shaded picnic tables.

One thing to note: I had worn shorts expecting my legs to be covered by the kayak, but the kayaks used for this tour are open (you simply sit in the indentations on top). I forgot to put sunscreen on my lower legs, so they got sunburned - don't make the same mistake I did!

But aside from my own little mistake, this was a very well-run, well-organized experience, perfectly balanced between assisting us and letting us have our own fun

Booked a canoe on the day of with no hassle and the trip is well worth the experience. However, as we went in late August the water was quite shallow and there were a couple times where the canoe got stuck on the bottom and we had to get out and push so be wary of the water levels before you get stuck

Plusieurs fin de semaine de tentatives, plusieurs messages laissés sans réponses malgré qu'on nous dit" On vous rappelle dès que possible". Très très déçus. Sachez que les locaux ont leurs propres embarcations et qu'on a besoin d'être remontés, encore faudrait il répondre aux messages! Profitez bien des touristes pendant qu'ils sont là. Ce qu'il vous manque, c'est un ou deux concurrents, mais tout arrive un jour

Merci Rouge et Diable! Accueil chaleureux, parcours bucolique et sécuritaire, balisage facile à suivre, accès à de nombreuses petites plages et baignade rafraîchissante. J’ai hâte d’y retourner et j’en parle à mes amis!

Le trajet de 3h (8km) est très tranquille. Parfait pour les débutants. L'eau est belle et claire, le sol est propre. Beau lieu pour la baignade également.

Superbe expérience. L'équipement est adéquat, service chaleureux et parcours très agréable sur la rivière. Nous avons adoré notre après midi!

Equipe jeune et efficace.
Balade de 2 heures pour des novices en famille très bien.
Manque a la fin au retour un jet d'eau extérieur pour pouvoir se laver ou au moins se rafraichir.
Possiblement mettre une fontaine d'eau a l'extérieur.

Moins cher que la plupart des autres options car le trajet sur la rivière dure 3 heures (8 km) mais c'est amplement pour une famille avec de jeunes enfants. Plusieurs belles plages pour s'arrêter et se reposer/baigner. Personnel sympathique et équipement de bonne qualité. Je recommande sans hésitation.

This was a super fun experience! Well organized in terms of scheduling, equipment, and transportation. It was an easy and well marked paddle. Definitely bring a dry bag though!

Étant débutante, je voulais une activité simple et agréable et je n'ai pas été déçue avec Rouge & Diable! L'accueil (par Marco) était si chaleureux et sympathique que je savais déjà que j'allais apprécier l'excursion. C'est bien organisé, près de la ville et vraiment plaisant. J'ai fais la plus facile, mais j'y retournerai certainement pour en faire une plus longue! Merci à toute l'équipe! Je recommande fortement:)

My family and I came here and absolutely loved it. Our favorite part was at the 13 km mark where there are two little rapids. When we got there the staff let us know that there were rapids so we knew exactly where they were.other than the rapids the scenic view along with the low current pulling us forward made us love this little trip. We are a group of four with a 14 and a 12 year old child although younger kids will still love it.

Nous avons fait la randonnée de 3 heures et nous avons adoré! La rivière est belle et calme, plusieurs petites plages naturelles sont présentes tout au long du trajet et on peut s’y arrêter pour pique-niquer ou nager. Le service y est excellent et nous y retournerons c’est certain! C’est une expérience familiale vraiment agréable et ce pour tous les groupes d’âge.

Excellent value for 1/2 day activity in Tremblant. Did the 3hr kayak excursion. Exactly as described. Do bring dry bag as suggested as one of us capsized in the rapids. Would recommend for sure.

Nous avons fait le 5KM sur la rivière du Diable jusqu'au pont prud'homme. Très beau tracé et très belles plages. Le personnel a bien exécuté ses tâches mais pour l'accueil et les sourires ont devra repasser.
Recommandations: J'ai rempli le formulaire de demande spéciale pour obtenir des kayaks pour 2 participants avec forte taille et bien que les kayaks étaient disponibles sur place, je n'ai reçu aucun suivi et aucune réponse.
Le personnel ne s'identifie pas dans leurs réponses suite à nos courriels qui sont traités par des personnes différentes, ce qui a occasionné des malentendus concernant une annulation et un changement de date et qui m'a coûté 5% de frais de remboursement.

PS: Suite à mon commentaire l'administration Rouge Diable a reconnu son erreur et accepté de me rembourser les frais de 5% que je viens d'encaisser. Il me fait par conséquent plaisir de reconsidérer mon évaluation.

It was my 1st time kayaking & I absolutely loved it! Well organized, courteous staff & the scenic view was tranquil & breathtaking. I would definitely come back again, well done team Rouge et Diable!

Kind of disappointed with the service we received with this company. We were a group of 4 people, 2 of us ended up going overboard because no one from the agency warned us about the falls being dangerous at that particular time of the day. They simply told us it was in the disclaimer, even though we could have gotten seriously hurt! When we told them about our incident and one of us having lost a phone in the river, they weren't even concerned with our safety and did not even ask if anyone got hurt. Moreover the equipment was definitely not right! 2 of our group members (who are a bit tall) were given the tiniest double kayak in the world which did not help them with their balance during their trip and lead them to go overboard.

I had previously enjoyed kayak services from the Mont-tremblant activity center and I am definitely going back to them! This was a horrific experience! Please be aware of the falls as the employees of Rouge et Diable will only hide behind a disclaimer and will definitely not concern themselves with your safety!

We enjoyed our experience. The only comment is that the ride was supposed to last 90 minutes we made it in only 50 minutes.paddling slowly! They should make the ride longer so you get what you pay for. For the rest all good.

Beautiful 2-3 hr kayaking trip down Diable at an appropriate level for my husband and I and our two children under 10! We highly recommend this excursion and will be back!
