I got the Vietnamese 20 inches hair and I have never had this type of quality hair extensions before, absolutely hands down the most amazing hair I have ever had.

She shipped the hair via mail and both times I received it quickly without issues. I would recommend her to anyone who wants a wig or extensions, and if you’re in Montreal, I recommend you have her install the hair for you herself. She is awesome!

0 service à la clientèle, vraiment. Reçoit mal les gens, pas de tact, sérieux problème avec sa manière de traiter les gens. Dommage il n’y a pas 0 star. Installe bien ses laces mais à part ça, horrible expérience.

Why I booked:

I wanted to try the bob look without cutting my natural hair to achieve it. I showed Nicole the picture of the woman in the black shirt as inspiration.
Installed first week of May and uninstalled with week of June 2022

Professionalism:

Nicole is very professional and personable! She was quick to respond to my inquiry on Instagram and helpful in answering my questions. She advised me on what kind of hair extensions and how many packs I could buy to match my natural 4c hair the best.

Punctuality:

I arrived on time for my appointment. Nicole greeted me at the door. There is plenty of parking available so you won't need to stress about that too much. We were able to talk about hair care and banter while styling my hair.

Quality:

Overall the hairstyle lasted for a month and was installed very well. It was my fault that I did not buy good quality human hair. I went to Hera Beaute and bought hair extensions under the label "the Purple Pack" which I wouldn't recommend if you want hair that flows nicely. We encountered problems with the hair extensions I bought. Luckily, Nicole is a problem solver and was able to give me the desired style without the optimal hair.

Value:

Overall, I think the service is worth the money and the excellent customer service. I hope to get my hair styled again soon. I had a great experience choosing RubyRubyHair. Her warmth and kindness greet you at the door and linger with you when you leave.

The first time I went to Ruby after braiding and removing the braids in the same week (it was for my vacation), I explained the situation to Ruby and she very kindly gave me a last minute appointment and explained how I should prepare my hair.for extensions. The truth is that I am grateful to her for helping me in that moment of desperation.the truth the results were fantastic.and came back for my maintenance.she is professional and very clear her technique is fantastic. I don't think I'll go to braids for a long time.

She’s just great! She knows what she’s doing, and doesn’t want to damage your hair. I highly recommend her. I laughed practically the entire time, she’s a cool person. I’ve had extensions before, but not like this. I’ll be going back, that’s for sure

What can I say, Nicole is the best! She really knows her craft and really takes the time to make sure everything is done to perfection. I purchased a wig and install last March from an Instagram hairdresser and let me tell you, it was nice at first but with all that glue, it was a disaster afterwards. I revived the wig and brought it to Nicole and her install was flawless. Also - she is good with customer service. Too many rude, condescending hairdressers in the community who treat customers like garbage. Nicole is not one of them! I've been going to her for years and I never regret it.

Let me get to the beginning, my origin story with Ruby Ruby hair if you will
As a young University student 7years ago, new to the town of Montreal for two years at that point i could not find a decent hairdresser that i really was satisfied with. Went from bad to horrible. My usually natural long and healthy hair was showing signs of the consequences! It was in shambles I was desperate when i came across he ad on kijiji. Needless to say her professionalism, almost perfection care and expertise laced with tremendous talent for hair changed everything. I was so delighted by the results and the advice she would constantly give me that i became a long time client and would preach her talents to all who asked me who did my hair from strangers on the street to friends. I was sold! I tried various different hair techniques with her over the years as she constantly innovates and adds to her scope. She knows when to say no when she can see your hair won't benefit health wise, with a particular hair technique you might want but isnt in your best interest at the moment. She also became one of my dear friends along the way and never seizes to amaze me with her passion, innovation and love for her craft. She really cares! She is as wonderful as a person as she is a Hairstylist. As i go through the reviews here i can see just how much y'all agree with me. She is one of the best here in Montreal, and anywhere. Every time i travel i get anxious if i have to do my hair elsewhere because, she's truly.at the exception of my other treatment and blowout hairdresser, the only one who has been taking that special care of my hair, and whom i trust with it completely. She's just that amazing and i love her like a big sister. She's one of my closest friends today and still a damn near genius when it comes to hair. 5stars all the way and well deserved

Rubyrubyhair is the best hair stylist in Montréal. I’ve been to so many places and dealt with many hair stylist none of them have been has amazing as Rubyrubyhair or as competent as her. Her work is amazing. My natural hair has grown so much, my edges are healthy and my hair is so much more manageable. She has given me great advice, because she cares for her clients and wants what’s best for them. It is nice to see a competent person doing her job so passionately.

Nicole is an absolutely amazing person! She takes her time to make sure you hair looks as nice and natural as possible which is amazing because every single time I've gone to get my hair done with her I've received so many compliments! Also, on top of being an amazing hairdresser, I truly appreciate her genuine concern in my personal haircare which no other hairdresser I've gone to has ever shown. She has recommended products for me that have made an actual change with my hair.

I decided to choose RubyRuby as the place the get my first ever weave installed. I was really nervous since it was a first for me but Nicole was extremely helpful and answered all the questions I had before my install. She was very gentle and the process was painless and enjoyable since she’s so friendly and easy to talk to! I’m so happy with the results and will definitely be going back!

Nicole is simply the best! After so many bad and horrible experiences in different hair salons in Montreal, I finally found the best place for extensions. Today, I did a crochet extension. Not only Nicole took the time to call me before my appointement to give me advice on what extensions would suit my sensitive scalp but also what hair i should purchase. For my first experience, I am very satisfied I will defenitly go see her again.

I have been already twice to Ruby Ruby for Malaysian sew-in hair extensions and both times I had an AMAZING experience! Initially I was super nervous since my natural hair is very thin, falls easily and short, but I got super awesome ombre hair extensions without dying and further damaging my natural hair. In the past two months I had zero problems with my extensions and super happy with the results. Definitely I would recommend this place, it's very affordable and Nicole is amazing!
