Since I entered I didn’t receive a good first impression. Zero customer service for eyebrows threading. Too harsh. Not polite. She did not even ask my idea about my eyebrows. My skin is still red. The lady left me with hairs on face without even cleaning it.

C’est goûteux pour absolument rien, juste pour un application de vernis ça a été incomplet, après 30 min le vernis était déjà parti. J’ai payé pour rien

I've been going to Runway Beauty Bar for years now. They're very flexible on changing appointments. The quality of gel manicure has been mostly great, but it can vary depending on who you get. The salon is always very clean, the staff is professional, and you can either watch a movie or music videos that are displayed on the big screen. They're my go-to whenever I want to get my nails done!

I hate doing this, but this place is just not it anymore. I drive all way from saint constant (south shore) to this nail place because we all know the struggle of finding a good nail salon. The owner is actually sweet and professional, but todays service and experience from a specific nail tech was just so bad. I had to ask her to refile my nails multiple times because they weren’t straight and guess what I came back home and still had to file and fix my nails. I didn’t like the colour I chose because it looked uneven and ugly once applied, so I asked her politely midway if I could change the color, she somehow took it personally. After choosing my new colour she took the samples and THREW them on the table behind her. Again I was polite and nice to her the whole time! She wasn’t even focused on my manicure she was so distracted she kept looking around and she was way more interested in the client beside me who had a broken nail. The manicure and polish application were both done poorly and rushed. I didn’t want to believe all the recent negative reviews, but I learned my lesson and I won’t be going back. I was excited to get my nails done before a trip, unfortunately she just ruined my day. I came back home and redid them myself.

I have been a client of this institute for months and my last experience was not good.
I came for an eyebrow and upper lip threading (18$) but the result was very disappointing.
The esthetician left out a lot of hair above my lips as well as above my eyebrows. I didn't notice this in the institute because the light there was catastrophic. I had to finish the job at home with tweezers
I regret having left a tip for this service.

Very bad experience, I paid almost 90 and the nails were ugly, to top it off today I dropped the big toe paint and I only went two days ago

Recommend it, the place is so clean and staff are so nice.

Went here for eyebrow threading. They changed the technician recently and the new one is not very good. She used a very harsh thread and the whole experience was painful. I left with 4 bloody cuts on my eyebrows. She missed a few hairs as well but I didn’t say anything because I didn’t want her to do any more damage. She spent less than 8 minutes on my eyebrows. Did not apply any products before or after to make the process less painful. No clean up either (left with hair all over my face). Really unequipped studio. Worst $14 I’ve spent on eyebrows - honestly would recommend others to spend a few more dollars to go somewhere more professional.

Appointment time was not respected, was told to come back in 30 minutes. Asked the nail tech if she could give me more of a square-shape and was told my nails were too short for that. I ended up doing it myself.

I went for a full face threading which includes eyebrows. The lady didn't even ask me how I'd like my eyebrows done and just straight went for it and I had to stop her to explain, when I did she barely listened and made my eyebrows way too short (opposite of what I asked) my face still had a lot of random hair that she left undone so I went back after using the mall bathroom mirror (I noticed the hair with minimal lighting and without focus) and asked her to finish it properly. The technique she used while doing it made the threading more painful that it needed to be (I've been doing this for a while) and to top it all off, she gave me some cuts on the face in the easiest areas of the face like cheeks.and for that I paid 50$. I honestly would expect a refund cuz it was so bad. For any type of threading I recommend you all to go to "salon Ami" on Darlington. They know what they're doing yet they're inexpensive. I should've stuck with them but they were busy and I was in a rush to get my face done. NEVER again

Excellent experience with lashes, I used to do lashes alot abroad and in canada, this is one of the best! Comfortable and the lash tech (gabriella) was really knowledgable and explained every step and looks really good

I was very disappointed in the threading I had done today. I usually go to Solmaz on the lower level but rang today and booked in with a new lady on the upper level. I had a full face threading and specifically asked for thicker eyebrows as I've been growing them. Not only were my eyebrows thin after the threading, there were 2 gaps (1 in each eyebrow) which I now have to fill in to make it look even. They were not there before. I could feel that she wasn't doing my whole face - she barely touched my upper lip and I had to ask her go back (twice) to get the remaining hairs. Not only that, I have come home and I still have load of little tiny hairs on the left side of my face, some on my upper lip, and also along the front of bit my chin and underneath. I paid over $40 and had bad service. If you get threading, go downstairs and see Solmaz. She's great.

First time there, had a great experience. Shimika did my brows, upper lip and face. She was very careful and patient. I am extremely happy with the results. Prices are very affordable as well. Highly recommend.

Gotten my legs waxed here twice and will definitely come back! Not the most glamorous salon, but the quality of service is fantastic and the staff are very nice.

I had perfect square long nail, ask for manicure. I said you don’t really need to cut or short it. Then the lady (idk it’s because she doesn’t understand English or what, made my nail look uneven, and super short that even hurt. The last pic is what I had before she polish&etc) Like they are super not experienced. I can do a better work than them, why would I pay for these services?

Great service and price! Everyone in this salon is very kind. I have been getting my nails done there for years and I have always had an excellent experience. Really recommend!

I’ve been here before and had decent experiences but this time it was horrible. I went for a wax, but there were patches of hair that weren’t removed, and i was also left scabbed on certain areas.
Also last time I went there the lady was understanding of my pain tolerance and would pause when she realized I was in pain. This time, I had a different lady who rushed through the whole process (hence the scabs) and put the blame on me.
PS: It’s been a couple of days and it got worse, i think the lady also burnt me

I went here for my eyebrows and i didn’t like the way they treated me, the lady who attended me didn’t look that happy as i showed up as a walk-in. Her service i didn’t like at all she was rude and literally botched my brows when i told her to make it my way, and she replied that i can get it done from the people of my country, i mean i pay for my satisfaction. She was a lady from iran she pulled my brows so bad that i had to apply heat-packs to my brows after and i even informed her before starting that my skin gets cuts. I’m actually very disappointed c i saw lot of good reviews on their website, never coming again at all.

I got my eyebrows and upper lip threaded and although the lady was nice and professional when I got home and looked at it closer the side of my lip has 3 small cuts that were bleeding and there was still hairs out of place that should have been removed on my eyebrows

Just left Beauty Bar, and I had such a great experience! Maddy is a true professional! She is extremely kind, and sensitive to the needs of her clients. Definitely ask for her by name, you will not be disappointed! She’s my new go to, I won’t go anywhere else! Thanks again Maddy, you’re the best! ️

Booked a last minute waxing appointment right before the shut down -_-. Maddy performed by services, she was very nice and professional. She made sure to get everything and to make it as painless as possible. Facility was clean, appointment started on time! Maddy was a true delight will be going back and I definitely recommend her:)

I did my Brows and upper lips only thank god as I wouldnt want to lie down anywhere for a waxing. My 1st but definitely last time The instruments were clean and the girl was nice but that's abt it!

My place to go for a clean, glossy and beautiful manucure! Their customer service is everything and it's one of the many reasons why I always do my nails at this salon. I am a happy customer and highly recommend this place!

Best place at this price point.very comfortable seating and the polish I get here always lasts forever (regular, not even gel). Eyebrow threading technicians take a while but are always very attentive to details.my brows always look perfect when I get them here

I came here as walk-in, make a phone call 10mins before I got here. Two girls started to help me together and got really effective and high quality work done. Also my phone was dying and they gave me charger.
I chose 3 colors and got glue for my broken thumb nail and they helped me remove my old polish all for $46 (before taxes) really fair price

I don’t know how they justify charging 50$ for a gel manicure that started already chipping after 4 days. Now it’s been a week and I have 4 nails with huge chips in them and another one cracking. I honestly feel robbed. The place I normally go (but couldn’t then) charges 30$ and it lasts perfectly 2+ weeks.

I went to wax my face and eyebrows and the lady DID THIS TO ME she even made me pay after I told her that she messed up. Don’t go wax your face there!

I never post reviews, but this place is worth 5 stars. I’ve never trusted anyone with my nails until I met Estelle. The owner is also really sweet and I truly recommend going there for the professional service.

Love this place, great customer service. Soli is the best for eyebrows (I have thick messy middle-eastern eyebrows, only Soli knows how to handle those!)

Staff is nice and friendly, especially the owner is a sweetheart. Great selection and easy walking in to get an appointment.
The store is a bit worn down, if you sit down you have a lot of time to look behind the chaos and mess behind the counter. Old and cheap IKEA furniture where the lack comes off. Does it matter? Not for the nails you are getting, but it doesn't give you a luxuries / spa feeling while looking at the chaos. The nail tools are clean though!

Les filles sont efficaces et gentilles. Tu peux passer le temps en regardant un de ces bon films "bonbon" j'aime bien. J'y vais pour le vernis à ongles "couture" qui dure une semaine. Mais bémol sur la pédicure. Il y a mieux ailleurs c'est sûre au niveau de l'équipement, c -à -dire, lavabo à remous massage, chaise massage ce qu'il faut pour une expérience relaxante. Un peu plus cher qu'ailleurs, mais bien.

Horrible experience. Was going here for the past year to get my brows done, was always perfect until the last two times. The lady botched my brows and when I complained they told me that was just how my brows are shaped. I’ve been going here faithfully and this has never happened until the most recent times. Extremely upset. They lost a faithful customer today
