Les bons mots sont rares dans les commentaires sur la SAAQ. Après une visite dans l'un des pires bureaux de la SAAQ, sûrement le pires.celui situé au carré Décarie, j'ai décidé de me presenter à celui de la rue St Jacques un vendredi à 16h30. Et j'ai été impressionné par la gentillesse, l'accueil et le calme de tous les employés.
Les bonnes expériences existent à la SAAQ. Il faut les souligner, comme nous soulignons les mauvaises.

Got in and out quickly to renew my RAMQ card. VERY IMPORTANT to make an appointment, because the walk-ins line was much longer. The attendant who helped me was friendly, patient with my bad French, and explained everything. She was wonderful!

Non, mais c'est la maison des fous! Pour signaler un changement d'adresse à l'étranger, Services Québec nous renvoi au service à la clientèle de la SAAQ où on me renvoi à l'application web. Après avoir investi quelque temps pour ouvrir un compte Saaqclic, on nous apprend que ce n'est pas possible de déclarer un changement à l'étranger (et donc d'annuler son permis) sur le web. Puis, de retour au téléphone, on nous raccroche au nez (trop occupé), mais seulement après avoir épluché les 240000 options. Quel désordre, quelle incompétence.

Worst service ever, there are 6 counters in total and they are accepting people only in 2 counters and other employees are chitchatting in the back.
For 2 mins service i had to wait 1 and half hour. Someone should teach government how to use taxes wisely

Awful. Spent two hours in the cold. Then a half hour inside. They said they couldn't tell if I paid my license and that I should pay it again. They said they'd send me a refund when the find out. I won't be holding my breath.

Made an appointment online, was in and out in less than 15 minutes. After hearing about long wait times it was a nice relief!

I waited in a huge line-up outside in the cold for 2 hours. The line advanced only 5 people in that time. I left discouraged and frustrated and angry. The employees were incredibly slow. They didn't let more people wait inside even though there was plenty of space available. 3rd world level of service.

Pas facile la vie de fonctionnaire on dirait.
À chaque fois que je me présente à cet endroit, je rencontre toutes sortes d'employés ayant tous et toutes des humeurs très différentes, de très enjoué à grincheux.ce qui est le plus déplorable est surtout le manque de rigueur et d'eficacité dont dont semble souffrir ce bureau. L'aide et les renseignements donnés semblent diverger d'une persone à une autre. Puisque j'ai toujours du y faire une longue liste d'attente, j'ai eu beaucoup de temps pour observer une certaine constance dans leur gestion douteuse des cas.

Je suis aller SAAQ rue st Jacques a 9am ce matin il y avait 8 personnes qui attendait a l'extérieur j'ai fait la file et il arrivait du monde en arrière de moi et il y avait un homme 2 ieme en arrière de moi qui est arrivé je lui si demander si il avait fait une réservation il m'a répondu Non au bout de 20 minutes il y a une femme qui est venu le rejoindre sans rendez vous elle aussi. 15 minutes après il est allé voir Rose qui était a l'entrée elle l'a fait entrer pour passer en avant de 5 personnes dont moi, il est entrer au guichet pas longtemps après et la dame au ongles rouges est entrée aussi et est aller elle aussi a un autre guichet. Après 2.30 d'attendre et voyant le monde entrant souvent sans rendez-vous. Car aussi une femme avec un enfant en bas age a passer aussi. J'ai parti a un autre saaq place Dupuis et la pas de favoritisme, tu prends un numéro et tu attends a l'intérieur et passe vraiment beaucoup plus vite
Saaq avec une Denommé Rose a l'entrée rue st Jacques, c'est vraiment un gros 0

It’s the place to go to get your Drivers license and medicare card. Not dog friendly. Bring a chair, comfy shoes and snacks, sometimes it can be a wait, lineups out the door because of covid.

Almost quick service with appointment. However, for changing maladive card photo I saw on the website that I can bring the photo taken in farmaphrix, but here did not accepted and I paid for taking photo twice

I would give 0 reviews if I could. Why is everything so complicated with SAAQ. Appointments form is in French only. Toll free number is always busy and drops the call, walk-in is doesn’t seem to be available anywhere. How can a regular person get things done over here. It’s a government aka managing authority issue I believe.

de fausses informations de leur part pourraient coûter cher
quelqu'un de temps et d'argent. Ils ne se soucient tout simplement pas de
leur erreur et s'éloigner pour l'ignorer. A été demandé de

I can't use the words I'd like to to describe my experience in dealing with this organization. The first outlet I called went straight to voice automation and had no message box so just hung up on me. The second outlet I called, I waited on hold for 50 mins.and because the person who finally answered spoke no English, he immediately put me on hold again! Twenty minutes later I finally got to speak to a very helpful woman. Thankfully.

Agence rue Saint-Jacques: service rapide, efficace et avec le sourire ; sur rendez-vous l'affaire était pliée en 10 minutes. PAR CONTRE, il serait judicieux de mentionner SUR LA PORTE que les personnes qui ont rendez-vous peuvent entrer directement plutôt que faire la file dehors.

Fast, friendly service. Online booking works well. I always use this office just because everyone here works well together and nothing is too much trouble despite the range of issues they have to deal with. Be nice to them, people.

Horrible! I had to leave work early, drive through traffic, pay for parking; got there at 4: 45 they were closing at 6 and refused to let me in. This is a joke!

Long loooonnngggg waits. People go on breaks when they are long line ups waiting to get served. They need more staff. The workers are decent though, not rude.

Most times, we have had fairly reasonable service at this SAAQ office. Staff are usually polite, but sometimes, though 15 or more people are lined up, only 1 or 2 staff for 4 wickets. Those who complained (below) of long wait times outdoors- that was BECAUSE of COVID restrictions, not the fault of the staff. You may think others had no appointment, but often, they're with someone else who does have one.
We've had serious frustrations such as after 3 tries, no plate!
I tried to register an old forklift. They said- "Sure but we must see your Bill of sale from the dealer. " Fine. Then they demanded I return with the bill the guy who sold it TO the dealer!
They refused to accept it had NEVER even been registered before. All we needed was that small $36 plate to go in the street to take a pallet off a truck. That was 4+ years ago. Now we unload, but we STILL have no plate. The SAAQ made it- impossible.

Was getting a new vehicle plated. The lady handed me the first plate she touched and told me that this was the only license plate number I'd get. I've plated vehicles before and clerks will usually show you 4-5 plates to see if there's any number you prefer over another (lucky numbers, unlucky numbers or something easy to remember). There was no line up. No one after me, the clerk just didn't feel like stretching her arm for a few more plates and give me something that would avoid my unlucky number. She just sighed loudly, annoyed by my request and told me she couldn't help me. For a car I'll old for 7-8 years, 2 minutes of her time wouldn't have made such a difference to her.

Great experience getting all the paperwork sorted for a new car and scrapping an old one.
I didn't have an appointment, but it wasn't busy enough to turn me away. Thank you!
I would recommend this branch for anyone fearing bureaucracy and enjoys service with a smile.

En béquilles, j'ai besoin d'assistance. Mon assistant n'as pas sa carte ont refusé de me vendre une bouteille. Même si mon assistant a plus de 30 ans. Du vrais niasage comme a chaque visite aller a Châteauguay
