It's the only place where you find Colombian food such as chorizos santarosanos, morcilla, great meat. The butcher is ready to ask you how you want to slice your meat. I love it when a butcher helps you. They know how to cut meat and they have the right knife. There is a cafeteria where you can wait for a cab while treating yourself with the flavors of a delicious typical meal from your country.
One of the only places in Montreal you can get a latino-cafeteria style meal reminiscent of the format you'll find in Latin America. I didn't really do any grocery shopping here (except a small bottle of hot sauce), but they have a great range of imported products as well.
You will get absolutely what you need to prepare your dishes from most Latin American countries. In addition, your favorite sweets, trinkets and snacks and, if you are hungry, you can eat some of the dishes that you miss from your land.
In this place you'll find an area serving ready-to-eat food and sweets, and a grocery store with a meat's section. The food and most of the products are brought from central and south america. They have a really good selection of products.
Take-out is delicious! But the service in the store is poor due to the fact that most of the staff don't speak french or English at all.last time i went 3 months ago things might/should have changed so i would recommend to at least give it a try!
Good place to find stuff from latin america that you won't find in a normal grocery store! They also have an awesome restaurant to try some pupusas, chicharrón, tacos and many more! You need to try and see by yourself!
The Latin supermarket with more variety. You can find food for from mostly all latin countries. The Colombian food is not as great as I wish, but it's ok. In terms of variety is a good choice.
This was my first visit and I loved it! If you are Latino/a or need to cook a Latin American dish, this is the place to go! Everything you need is available from plantains, avocados, all kind of cheeses, tortillas, etcetera. Prices can be a bit higher than I expected but the variety is awesome, staff is helpful.
I am a NY Puerto Rican living in the Montreal Area and this is one of the few places I can go to get the spices and ready made food that I am used to at home.
They have a great variety and the new bigger location is well done.
I only gave it 4 stars because although the hot food is great but pricing is expensive. I have eaten here a few times and it's always over $20 just for me and it's nothing fancy.some rice.some meat and maybe a drink.
Their empanadas are almost 3x the price of a Jamaica or haitian patty elsewhere and their portions for meals are small.
They weigh almost everything so if you ask for an extra scoop of rice you are charged for it. Even though their portions are too small to begin with.
If they fixed the pricing issues then i would eat here alot more often.
