Sami Fruits

Cashier tried to steal 16 $ from me. Didn't reset the cash, just started adding my products. I told him to stop and he become aggressive.
People open your eyes, they are stealing all the time.

Un très bon marché où tu peux acheter tous ce que tu veux au niveau des fruits, des légumes, des fruits secs et bien plus encore avec des prix abordables et une bonne qualité. Ouvre ses portes du mercredi jusqu'à dimanche, pour l'info il n'accepte pas la carte crédit et c'est parmi les rares mauvaise points que l'en peux constater.

Good and sometimes very good prices and variety but you must be attentive because quality is variable. Not all prices are amazing but you'll find many are. If you're careful, you'll come back home with bags and bags for $35 to $50 at ok to great quality.

With the cost of living, Sami Fruit has a good variety of vegetables and fruits at a decent price and sometimes cheaper than other stores. Also, the nuts department is good. His fish department is ok, but there is always something missing. The fried fish order/plate needs to be done as a Lebanese way with fried bread and citrus and sauce. People in the west island doesn't care to pay a bit more for better stuff.

This fruit and vegetable market boasts a wide variety of selections found across the World! Somewhat cool to shop.it feels as if you're in a meat locker.there are also nuts, dried fruits, dates and rotis to choose from too. Excellent prices!

You find fruits & veggies at a cheap price. The low point is that they don't take credit card payments.

Too pricey for quality. And added to that, The owner has just been accused of 31 millions in fiscal fraud.go check online. You go there, you help a criminal.gouvernement is still trying to get its money back.

I've heard people say this place gets "what fell off the truck". I disagree. Most of their stuff is top-quality at a great price. These days, more than ever, that sounds pretty good! Warning- wear a jacket into the store even on the hottest days- they keep it at about 17c.

I really love to shop at Sami Fruits, the prices are very reasonable you can find all kind of Fruits and vegetables there. I will recommend Sami Fruits to all my friends and Family. May God bless you!

Good prices. Fresh veggies. Not too packed when I went (around 10, Sunday). Very little waiting a the cash. Sweet staff!

Their marchandises is ok! Its not super fresh but its not bad also. I guess it goes with the price your pay! Also the staff is really nice, friendly and sometimes funny!

En général bon rapport qualité/prix. Par contre, il ne faut pas acheter en grosse quantité car les fruits et légumes ne tiennent pas longtemps au frigo. Aussi, souvent les fruits sont beaux de l'extérieur mais trop matures, voire pourris, à l'intérieur, et service à la clientèle moyen, Only Cash or debit.

Super pratique pour mettre la main sur des aliments qui sont souvent beaucoup moins cher que chez les épiciers réguliers. Pas de campagnes de circulaires et publicité à payer. Toujours le meilleur prix au moment où ils sont disponibles. Attention ce n’est pas tout les aliments qui sont à la qualité optimale, il faut bien choisir à chaque visite!

GROS POINT FAIBLE: ils ne prenne que le comptant et la carte de débit, pas de sans-contact (pay pass, etc.) beaucoup de frustration lorsqu’on oublie sa carte de débit physique et qu’on s’en rend compte à la caisse!

Merci noter que Samj guir ainsi que la poissonnerie se trouvant au même endroit acceptent seulement de payer comptanf (cash) ou par carte de débit.

Produce is not of premier quality. So once you buy the fruits and vegetables you need to consume them very quickly.
Some prices are actually more expensive than other area grocers. You have to know your prices.

Enjoy the choices of fruit and vegetables but they are pretty uninterested by people and employees who do not follow the required mask wearing policy.will try another location

All you can see are fruits and vegetables once you are inside. The visual impact is huge.
Also, you feel like doing shopping in a walk-in fridge. If you wear glasses, you see the humidity. If not, look at the floor you are walking on.
Sami Fruits is friendly on choices as well as price. Once I am home with my shopping, I always wipe out the condensation on them for better consumption.

Very nice place. You can find almost all king of vegetables and fruits. The price is extremely economic compare to all the other stores

Great price, but the building itself is bad.people just passed me in the line because lines were not defied probably and I had to actually fight for my place!

Sami Fruits est le meilleur endroit où acheter des fruits et légumes pour pas cher. La poissonnerie offre aussi de très bon prix.

Par contre c'est décevant et inquiétant de voir que des employés de la poissonnerie ne respectent pas les règles de santé publique, surtout ceux du comptoir pour emporter. Presque tous avaient leur masque en-dessous du nez ou complètement baissé.

I have going to Samy since I was a child back when they only had one location.
I am glad they opened a location in a west island. They have the cheapest prices and always have a lot of variety!

Great prices, extensive selection. Definitely recommend, especially if you are you looking for ripe produce. General warning! Do not buy ripe produce unless you plan on consuming it within a few days.

If I could give 0 star, I would. Horrible customer service. I have never seen such rude employees (from the manager to the cashiers), in my life. They take returns and put them back out DURING COVID-19. And no matter what they say, their fruits and vegetables have insects in the packaging.

Très grande variétés de fruits et de légumes à bon prix à condition de les consommer dans les trois à quatre jours maximum, conseillé pour les personnes qui ont un budget limité pour faire leurs courses, personnellement j'en achète mais à petite quantité, s'il le faut j'y vais deux fois par semaine.

I just saw you post Mr Stalion I also had the same experience and was afraid to speak out but my fruits and vegetables 2 -3 days after had the same faith. Good point if you like throwing food about this is the store for you LOL. Funny stuff! I also will never go back.

The quality of there produce is a -2. I choose vegetables and fruits that we’re NOT on special. Hoping my selection of fruits and vegetables that were not wrapped would be better and would not expired the next day. WELL not the case. My tomatoes were ok the day I bought them one day later they became very soft and spotted. The blueberries once I opened them in the middle of the batch bad blueberries were hidden away. Raspberries was the same. The rapini became Yellow two day later broccoli the same. Peppers were the only produce that were already bagged, we’ll 40% were spotted and rotten. I could go on I spent over 100$ never again.

If you choose to shop at Sami’s don’t expect much you get what you pay for. Avoid this store if possibles, but if you like throwing food away we’ll this is the store for you. Good luck.

Lots of cheap fruits and veggies. Very frustrating to try and get around with noone paying attention to the arrows on the direction to go. Carts everywhere. Felt like screaming. They should organize so people can pass each other. Very frustrating.

The store does not accept Visa and/or Master. The quality is good for the prices. They also have a little room dedicated to dry fruits only

Very disappointed to see multiple clients and staff members wearing their masks under their noses. Under the current law, masks should be worn, covering your nose and mouth, while shopping indoors. Other than that, prices are and selection are good.

Big disappointment and concern seeing employees wearing maskes under their chin or their noses. I spotted 2 employees that look like supervisors NOT wearing a mask at all! We all know how uncomfortable can be working under these conditions but at the end of the day we all have a social responsibility. Is it that hard to understand?

Sami fruit is a decent place, but you really need to know your prices. Sometimes the deals are great, other times the prices are high. There is also sometimes problems with quality of the produce. Overall an ok experience, but just be careful

In general really good prices on most items. As others have suggested, produce doesn't seem to last long. I wouldn't recommend getting more than a week's supply max. If you do that, then prices are hard to beat. Staff is friendly. Only debit and cash accepted so plan ahead.

Can't beat the prices but some foods not as fresh, eg I no longer buy grapes there and I just ate a tasteless peach.but compared to iga/ metro etc.it is double the value!

Thé best place in the west for fruits and vegetables.you save At Least 50% compared To anywhere else hère, bé it Métro or IGA, or even Super C

I love this place for fresh fruit and vegetables. The on they have in the east of montreal, the quality is trashed. I guess the west island is a different clientele. The only good thing they have i enjoyed is the juice section they have.

If the one in the west had that juice section it would be amazing! They have section where you can buy veggies already packaged an for cheaper.

Only downside is they are closed monday and tuesday so you kind of have to wait until Wednesday if you want to re up on your fruits and veggies

This was my first visit. I found a large and very clean fruit store. There is a great variety of fruits and vegetables. The staff are very helpful and friendly with the customers. The prices are very low as compared to other storesAs it was my first visit the staff members showed me where to find the summer fruits. I met a friend who showed me layout of the store. I will return there with the family.

If there was an option to put no stars I would. This place would be so much better without all the plastic bags they put at the disposal of their clients. It makes me sick to my stomach. I do not recommend this network of stores. Very disappointed.
