Sammi & Soupe Dumpling - (Plateau)

I had a bit higher expectations because this was rated so high. We ordered 4,11,15, and 35. The soup dumplings were quite good but lacked flavour. Wonton soup was also flavourless and watery. The fried dumplings were very interesting—didnt enjoy the wasabi/cheese combo. Overall I am disappointed but the service was attentive and nice:)

Good dumplings. Terrible/arrogant service, particularly- bus boy.
Moreover dumplings were coming out for 40 minutes, restaurant was not clogged at the time.

Having worked at a restaurant- this was a terribly managed place with good food.

The steamed dumplings at this restaurant really hit the spot with their broth and delicious dumplings. The thickness and chewiness of the steamed dough is just right and it's very affordable.

Spicy and sour soup: actually so good and flavorful in this franchise compared to the Ste-Catherine's one. The portion is also bigger, for the same price. I recommend

Lamb and coriander: I find that the lamb at Ste-Catherine bears less of a "stinky taste". It's bearable, but as someone that's sensitive to "stinky meat", i wouldn't order this here again.

Chicken and mushroom: actually so good and underestimated. I love mushroom and its flavor is very much present. The chicken also has a nicely soft texture.

Spicy pork: very unique flavors, it's midly sweet, has a very good kick of spice that's similar to Szechuan. I would recommend to try this at least once. This doesn't even need a dipping sauce in my opinion.

The dumpling pizza: idk why this exists, I do not recommend. It's like a steamed dumpling but with the pan-fried crusts. The sauces don't add much to the dish.

Overall, good service, good experience, I would recommend the spicy and sour soup and any steamed dumpling here. The price is super reasonable:)

Authentic, delicious, and affordable XLB’s — I’m impressed. Coming from NYC where we’re spoiled with nan xiang xiao long bao, I was sceptical, but these had everything you want in a soup dumpling: juicy, plenty of soup, thin yet sturdy wrapper that’s just enough gooey, flavorful filling and a big variety from classic pork to snow crab and lamb. Highly recommended!

Tasty. Fast. Clean. Great service. What more do you need? Will definitely be a repeat customer.

My husband found that the food is even better than the one on Saint-Catherine West, but the service was quite lacking. They forgot to bring our food out until we asked, and by that time, the dumplings were no longer hot (which my husband didn’t mind) but it’s odd that they forgot to bring out the food.

Un excellent repas en famille, tous ont été rassasiés et les palais étaient comblés. Le prix était très raisonnable sachant que nous avons payé une soixantaine de dollars pour 4 personnes. J’ai préféré le soup dumpling à l’agneau et à la coriandre!

The dumplings were not hot enough, a bit cold on the skin. I think they were reheated. It's not bad, but not amazing either. Price ok, service good.

Excellent service, très beau décor. Il y avait du monde ce jour là et nous avons dû aller directement à l'entrée pour payer car on a attendu pour avoir nos additions et personne n'est venu mais sinon c'était bien

Top qualify soupe dumpling, even in China it would also be considered high quality food.

We order the pork soupe dumplings. It is has plenty of soup in side, and the skin is just right thickness. Nothing to complain!

Excellents dumplings mais. Serveuse unilingue anglais (et encore). Servie à désiré, mais très bon repas.

Délicieux dumplings à la soupe Nous avons essayé ceux au porc et les porc, crevettes et pétoncles. Et ils étaient très bons!
P. S.le samedi soir il faut arriver tôt pour éviter la file avant d'entrer. Nous y étions vers 17h15 et il y avait plusieurs tables de libres, mais ça c'est remplis TRÈS rapidement avec une grosse file d'attente dehors.

Heureux qu'ils aient ouvert celui-ci plus près de chez moi. J'ai dîné ici plusieurs fois et tout s'est bien passé. Les serveurs sont vraiment sympas, le service est rapide et amical, et bien sûr la nourriture est parfaite Les raviolis vapeur sont frais et délicieux, les entrées aussi. Ne manquez pas cet restaurant si vous êtes dans le coin!

Definitely worth a second visit! Xiao Long Bao are sooo juicy and yum! Waiters are also helpful and nice even the restaurant is busy!
