Sana Restaurant Halal ( CRESCENT )

Ordered take out trio there were only two bites size pieces of chicken so small they were lost in the sauce.lots of rice and big piece of Nan bread.for a whopping 17$. What a rip off!

The food was really good.
Inconspicuous looking place.
I came here with a friend after not being able to get in to a Korean resto not far away.
This was a great consolation prize.
Everything was spot on.
Would definitely return.

I recently got two orders of chicken biryani as takeout as a first-time customer. I would NOT RECOMMEND this food to anyone. I had called in this lunch order when the restaurant opened for the day and the chicken biryani they gave was a few days old and sitting outside, definitely not fresh. By the time I took it home and consumed it, it was smelling and tasting funny. My family was sick from eating this biryani and everyone was using the bathroom for the next two days from food poisoning. We didn't even finish it and I threw it all out. It was disgusting and one of the worst food experiences I've had.

I truly would NOT RECOMMEND anyone eat food from this restaurant because they clearly will give their customers old food. It's very disrespectful and deceitful to give customers food that is old and has spoiled. My advice to anyone considering eating here: SPEND YOUR MONEY SOMEWHERE ELSE.

Ordered Aaoloo paratha, and Chana Masala with naan, followed by Kashmiri chai. Most authentic Pakistani taste, at a very reasonable price.
Will definitely visit again.

Not sure how this restaurant has such a high rating. My experience has been horrible here. It seems like the restaurant employees are doing a favour to the customers by taking their food orders. Food was okay but very difficult to find parking in that area.

Amazing halal Pakistani food right in the center of Montreal. Good service as well. Open till late. Do try the karahi as it was amazing and the Tikka as well

Restaurant empty had to use small table even if order was for 4 people and no one in restaurant. Rude person. Its not like before. Spend you money elsewhere.

Visiting from the GTA we were looking for a homely restaurant in downtown; Sana pleasantly surprised us with their stellar service, delightfully tasty food and great conversations with the servers.the owner, Ali also came to say hi to us which was splendid! Keep it up team Sana!

They have excellent biryani and ginger chicken masala. The butter chicken is average. However, when you mix it with ginger chicken masala, it will give you a fantastic flavor. Try it out; you will not regret it. Worth the visit.

I went one day to order Chana Samosa. The price for the One item was 5.50$ in menu. But, they charged around 8-9$, they said we changed our prices but didn't update in menu. Although, they said you should ask before payment. Be careful scam.

Ordered 6 times within 2 weeks. This place is a hidden gem! Definitely my favourite restaurant in Montreal for Indian/Pakistani food. Great delivery times, food is fresh. I’ve had many different items on the menu and each of them have been fantastic!

I’m writing this review as I wait for my order to arrive ha! Oh also, the samosas are better than the ones I used to eat in Mumbai!

Simply delicious. Exactly what I expected from a delivered indian food. I loved the butter chicken and the chana masala. I was worried the lamb biryani might be dry but it was very tender, so better than I expected. I liked the food and will reorder from this restaurant again in the futur.

This restaurant used to be good, but after ordering multiple times I've noticed the quality decline greatly the last few months. Curry barely had any flavour or thickness. Naan tasted like rubber. Perhaps their other dishes are better but I recommend avoiding the kebab dishes and plain naan. Price is fair at least.

On a visité le restaurant avec un coupon de Groupon. On a eu 2 samosas comme entrée puis 2 plats qu’on a choisi (poulet au beurre et aubergines) 2 pains nan et 2 riz basmati
La nourriture était très bonne et tout était frais. L’endroit est propre et le service était bon aussi

Restaurant indien sans samosa, obliger de substituer avec entrée 3x plus cher et inmangeable, riz servi froid (sortie du frigo), allo goubi insipide, goulab jamam servie seulement 1 seule boule, serveuse ne parle pas français.

Bref adresse à éviter.

Passé par menu groupon, ne respect pas leur engagement et font payé plus pour la substitution que nous n'avons même pas mangé.
Serveuse tout de même aimable et nourriture bonne hygiène, c'est déjà çà.

If you are looking for Pakistani style Halwa and Puri, this is now NOT the go to place. Thick and uncooked edges of Puris and an old tasteless brick of Halwa. Please don’t put things in menu which your chef can’t cook because he is not even using the right flour for puris.

Excellent food and service. A true aunthentic Pakistani food. Extremely paid attention to details. With Nehari they served ginger separately. Salad was served with chat masala.they know what they are doing. Big restaurants in GTA they throw over the top of it, they dint know how ti serve quality food. Excellent quality bar.b. Q. Cant say enough about it. Just go abd try! You wont regret the visit.

Went there yesterday with a couple of friends. We ordered a platter of BBQ mixed meat.

When the platter came to the table, found an under cooked piece of chicken, we advised the waitress, she took that piece of chicken back to the kitchen and came back out with another plate with 3 pieces of chicken on it, the intention was there. But I ended up finding another piece of under cooked chicken. Is there no quality control at this restaurant? Are they even trying to cook meals or just playing and pretending to be cooking?

I would definitely not recommend this restaurant. Avoid at all costs if you plan on staying healthy.

I came here with a friend who ordered what he said was "the best items on the menu" and they were indeed very tasty, chicken curry was well cooked and easy to put to pieces with your fork. The naan bread wasn't too oily or overcooked the grilled appetizer was delicious but a bit too salty. The owner/waiter was kind and welcoming. My only downside is that the lentille soup was a bit bland.

I was surprised when I walked in, the doormat in front looked like it was falling appart and blocking the door, it was hard to actually get inside the restaurant. I thought to myself oh god what did I get myself into, i had the same feeling when we were finally able to come in after struggling with the door for a few minutes. There was no music and i guess the few people that were there didn’t come to have conversations because there was no noise at all. Im a loud person in general to I had to watch my tone in order to not bother others. This is easily something the restaurant can improve, they should put a better ambiance and some indian music. Then comes the good part, the service was good and quick, i was expecting some re-heated food since it our order came really fast but not at all! Everything was fresh with an amazing taste. This restaurant needs to upgrade on the ambiance offered and decor. Maybe get new tables or something. Great potential guys! Keep it up and this can become one of the greatest Indian restaurant in Montreal!
