Restaurant Siciliana is celebrated for its authentic Sicilian cuisine, offering a taste of Italy with its rich flavors and traditional dishes. The warm, inviting atmosphere complements the dining experience. Known for its pasta, seafood, and pizza, it's a hit with lovers of Italian food.
We were craving italian food so we found this cute restaurant. We were quickly seated when we arrived. We ordered garlic bread, the tortellini gigi pasta and the pizza del chef. The food came quickly which is great because we were starving. The waitress was friendly and attentive, she always refilled our water without even asking. The taste and portions of the food are excellent compared to the price. Will definitely be trying our other items on the menu again!
The pizza I had was disappointing. Tastes and felt like it was a premade pizza from the supermarket. The waitress assured me it was not but the crust gave it away. It gad nothing to do with an Italian pizza.
I had covid and could only eat soup, I ordered couple of soups, both yummy and healthy (little salt and less oil compared to other places) ; it was accompanied by fresh bread and butter, very well packed! Thank you
Bon petit resto. A besoin d amour.
Soup was amazing! It started off strong but declined with the Alfredo tortellini. The sauce was very liquid and didn’t taste flavourful.portion size is good. I might come here again to try the tomato sauce.
We come to Montreal at least once a year and every time we visit the city, that means a visit to Restaurant Siciliana, our favourite Italian restaurant in Montreal.
I’ve always ordered the Trio Di Pasta, which is a plate that serves a little bit of each of their top selling pastas - Cappelletti Caterina, Spaghetti Bolognese and Fettuccine Alfredo. It is my absolute favourite thing to eat on the menu. The three individual portions are just big enough that you get to enjoy each of the pastas, and the overall portion size is quite generous. Each of the pastas are fantastic. The dishes are kept simple and cooked well.
We brought our two small children with us this time - our 4 year old and our 7 year old. My daughter also enjoyed the Trio Di Pasta while my son enjoyed their spaghetti bolognese from the kids menu. They’ve both proclaimed that this is their favourite pasta restaurant. We had to in fact visit again even though we were in the city for only 4 days because they begged us to go back before we had to go home.
If you are in the downtown area, I would highly recommend that you stop by. You’ll be greeted with friendly staff and a great Italian meal with generous portions and reasonable prices.
This used to by my favorite restaurant many years ago but unfortunately the quality has gone down by a lot. The prices are very attractive but the food is so so.the fish is too salty, vegetables not super fresh and the toilet is another thing. Not a horrible restaurant but not great either.
Nothing good here. Very old place and dirty utensils. The red vine tastes dead fish (maybe is from the dirty glass). Pizza is worst than home made pizza. For the price, you better order pizza hut or anything elsewhere.
Had ordered soup, pizza and pasta and trust me all three were bad. The quantity of soup is very less and you’ll have to add salt and pepper to make it eatable. For pasta I won’t suggest any, me and my friends ordered 3-4 different pastas and neither of them was good. Talking about pizza it was a big disappointment too, nothing felt like a wood-oven baked. All together, it was my worst experience in Montreal. The best thing in the whole menu was the water.
This is a serious favourite of mine. Absolutely classic Italian food. Eating here, feels like you know a secret. Great value for your money. I make sure I come here every time I am in Montreal
This place holds special meaning to me, not only does most of the food tastes great (not the veal be aware), it has also been my go-to place for family and friend reunion for several years now. A genuinely great restaurant.
Requested a window seat because I was going on a date. But it made the date awkward, because we would see the people coming in and out of the strip club next door (Chez Parée). Lol
My daughter and I came to Montreal for the night and was looking for Italien restaurant and found this gem around the corner from the hotel. BEST fettuccine alfredo I've ever had, stone oven pizza sooo good and carrot cake Highly recommend
A lovely little hole in the wall gem with a cozy and quiet atmosphere, good service, and fantastic pasta. Their fettuccine alfredo and lasagna are among my personal favourites.
A pleasant Italian restaurant. A menu with plenty of options, all at reasonable prices. I enjoyed both the pizza & tortellini, particularly the former. Service was good too. Conveniently open until 11pm for those who like to eat a bit later.
Huge disappointment. Unfortunately ended up stopping by this place on the way to the Habs game and was pretty much the only place with spare tables which should have been an obvious warning. "Bruschetta" was a brown breadbun toasted and slapped with cheep cheese and a few tomatoes like a poor man's stodgy hungover pizza recipe. Arribiata sauce tasted out of a jar and grocery store grade. Tables also barely cleaned and staff overworked, as well as the smoke alarm kept going off and burning everyone's eyes from the Woodfire pizza which we were both genuinely struggling to breath and isn't good for you. Unfortunately it seems like the kind of place that has no love and tries to cut every corner possible.
I ordered just one pizza to take away, I was told to wait 15mns and when I finally went in and asked for my food after a 50 minute wait, my food was sitting there cold and she didn’t didn’t even say sorry or anything, would DEFINITELY NOT recommend horrible / rude service and food wasn’t even good
The food is great: my favourite is Lasagna- I think it's the best one I ever had! I often order delivery from this restaurant. The lady on the phone is very friendly. The delivery time is normally quick too, however last few times that I ordered the delivery person was very cranky (its the same one). Last time he screamed at the security guard in my building. When he gives you a machine to pay he does not let it go, so I was really uncomfortable entering my pin (and being so close to him during Covid). Also he tells you to chose between 15-20% tip (he points to it), which is normally 10$+. For the delivery which is just 5 minutes drive I find it's a little too much (especially with this attitude).
Restaurant abordable. Bien situé. Bon service.
Cute little restaurant, the ambiance and food were amazing! We have recommended to family and everyone had a great time. Good portion sizes and friendly staff made this a spot you should eat at!
Wow, what a great little gem. Wish we had ordered more! We ordered takeout on Sunday night, a pizza Napolitana for the kids and a pasta primavera (rosé sauce) with vegetables. Food was delicious.
SUPER DELICIOS CARBONARA! *Just a small note for you when you make the order to go, do not put the butter on the hot plate because it explodes from the heat and then the whole bag is in oil, I am ordering it through Uber eats and everytime the bag is so messy because of that oil.
Had the Fettuccine Pescatore and the Homemade Cake. Both were delicious. The pasta arrived by delivery and was still hot, my drink was seperate and still cold.
The fettuccine was full of seafood and flavor. Plus, I still have leftovers. The cake was light and very nice as well. The order also came with a soft bun and butter which was a nice touch.
Great pasta, great dessert, great service. I am happy.
Great wood oven taste. Good quality Great service. The price is reasonable considering its downtown. Portions are good. It would ve wise to he on an empty stomach before ordering.:)
Service was great. Server was very attentive and polite. Food was delicious. The restaurant was quiet but a little dated. The house wine was good and the bill was not extravagant. Would come again.
Amazing food, amazing friendly and family environment, great wine, excellent price and expresso! Looking for a real Italian cantina. It’s Here! Ive saw some unfair reviews from here and that's my suggestion.if you are really needing a husband (been man or woman) and is unhappy with your life, don't come to this place to stress everybody out. Go to a Thai or Mexican restaurant and ask twice extra spice.will calm you down and leave this delicious restaurant alone from you. ENJOY
I admire this place a lot.theres a friendly atmosphere. The food is splendid.the service is dynamic and the crew is polite. The price is fair.extremely recommend.
Nice atmosphere, very good service. The food tasted excellent. The only thing that we had minor problem with was that the pizza crust was a little over cooked and hard. Overall very nice.
We stopped for lunch as we are visiting the city. We were expecting the food to be good but unfortunately was a waste of money. My seafood risotto wasn’t tasty at all and with very poor presentation (risotto with white wine then adding tomato sauce which was the most awkward!) My wife had seafood salad which didn’t taste fresh. The only thing that my daughter lived is the penne pasta with tomato sauce. As far as for the service, they didn’t seem concerned how the food taste like and how the customer feed back after they tasted the food. Even you return the plate full, no body will question why? I don’t like to put bad reviews as I worked for so many years in the industry but I like at least a standard of everything.
What an enigma! This place has the BEST Italian food between the 6 and old Quebec! However, between the delicious cheesy garlic bread and carbonara lies a substantial foible; the cleanliness! If the silverware and tables were slightly cleaner, this fine establishment would REALLY live up to the 5 stars it’s recurved! Bonsoir!
Atmospheric restaurant giving you the opportunity to eat quality food in a relaxed environment. Pizzas are cooked in a traditional wood fired oven making the stay even better. Good service in an old world way. We loved it.
Nicely done veal accompanied by pasta. I had the pizzaiolo which was very tasty. Decent portions. The wine list is ok but only house wine by the glass although there are half bottles available for some selections. Their red sauce is more sweet than spicy which I personally like. The warm bread is really nice. Not a romantic place but friendly with good service.
