SAQ

Honestly the service over here is absolutely horrible. We were 3 on 4 people who wanted to buy alcohol however they refused to sell us anything because one person didn’t have their id and after arguing they obliged a refund to one of us who actually bought something just to prove a point. Not to mention them joking amongst eachother about carding all of us who are indeed 18+ as we walked in. They used the excuse that it was “the law” even tho I went several times to a saq before the age of 18 with my parents and this never happened. It’s clear that it was just some old guy who was just bored in life and wanted to start problems.

Love this store. It has almost all the liquor you need and good parking spots. If you need more exquisite drinks, go to St-Sauveur.

Small location and selection of liquor. Only the very commercial. Went for vodka tequila and Prosecco. Was disappointed. Good service nonetheless.

Typical SAQ, but this store got policier reasons will not display dirty devil vodka, you always have to ask to get it from the back. Very sad

I did not have to travel very far to find a local SAQ. Staff were very friendly and helpful

The fact that St-Sauveur can support 2 SAQ'S is already telling you that at popular times, they are bound to be busy, but if you are coming up for the weekend and want to stock the bar, you can use the SAQ'S delivery service on line and pick up the order already boxed and paid for on the way. Despite that this is their 'quick-stop', open late, type store, they still have a great range of, for example, scotches. You can walk out of there with a decent blend, a low end single malt, and a couple of real beauties, but they won't stock the same amount of some and more of what usually sells at 9h30 on a Tuesday night!
