So we jumped all the way from Montreal and find this Halal spot and our experience was not good 26$ for lamb plater which comes like a kids platter REALY! I suggest find something else

Wonderful warm homemade Moroccan food on a chilly evening! We especially loved the falafel (plate comes with choice of three salads; we got hummus, tabouli, and cucumber tomato salad) and the Moroccan mint tea. We also tried the shawarma gyro sandwich and the couscous merguez (sausage) plate which were excellent.

Très mauvais service. La serveuse parle très mal et est vraiment impolie.
Ne mangez surtout pas les Gyros (aucune mention sur la carte ne précise que c'est un mélange de viandes de bœuf et d'agneau hachés), servit en lamelles qui ressemblent à des steaks. Lorsque nous avons réclamé, elle nous a dit je ne peux rien faire pour vous et nous a parlé sur un ton très désagréable, limite méchant.
Je vous déconseille ce restaurant.

Food was cold? , prices are astronomical for their $14.99 combo and didn’t receive complete combo as shown on the menu picture. Owner/ Manager charged $42 (overpriced) for two combos including two drinks and two extra drinks.

Math doesn’t add up nor does quality. I would not recommend this joint based on my personal experience although left $5 tip for the Manager as he was able to bring our cold food to the table after waiting 15-20 minutes for no one to take our order and had to go order at the counter.

Save yourself the aggravation and pass on it.

First off, the owner is a gem of a person. He was very friendly and helpful. After a short wait, he brought the food to our table. As for the food itself, we had the best Middle Eastern dishes we've ever tasted! The shawarma, kefta kebob and falafel plates were phenomenol!

Very average quality food, soup was cold and burned French fries.ambiance is not very good. The owner was rude. At the time of payment, he told me to pay him 20% or 25% tip. When I paid 5% he misbehaved in front of my family. I Will never recommend to anyone.

Service nul sur toute la ligne. Pour l'anecdote, nous avons commander un couscous mais au lieu de nous ramener des cuilleres le serveur nous a ramné des fourchette a la place. Quand on a demandé des cuilleres il a demandé a l'un de nous de le suivre dans sa cuisine pour lui les lui remettre. Une premiere dans les annales de la restauration.

We were on a family trip to Quebec City, found this halal place that looked good, but we were dead wrong. From the second we walked in the man taking our order seemed agitated. When we received our food more than half of the food we received was bad. The chicken smelt terrible I’d assume it was at least 5 days old. Overall bad food, and terrible taste, we couldn’t even finish our food. I’m assuming they gave us an old batch of chicken, nevertheless this place should strive for a better quality of food they give there customers. Also when we complained we were ignored and told we were wrong and he laughed at our face.

Do not recommend. Had an upset stomach after trying this place out. The chicken sandwich tasted like fish and some of the pieces of chicken looked undercooked.

I would definitely recommend you to make your own food or stay hungry rather than going to this place. We went on a trip and were extremely hungry and when we entered we noticed that The staff’s behaviour is extremely rude. We wanted to take out 9 shawarma but they gave us 10 saying that we have to pay for it saying they already packed but they didn’t actually. We accepted that after an argument then they said we need to pay 10% more for the service they gave. We told them that we wanted to takeout but they forced us to pay saying that it was the service they gave to us even if we didn’t stay to eat there. The worst restaurant I ever went. All the staff never treat customers with a happy face they are always rude. Even the food doesn’t taste that good tbh. So please stay hungry but DONT ENTER THIS RESTAURANT.

I don't want to be cheap in assessing halal restaurants but this was one of the restaurants that not good meals are served. We couldn't eat falafel. Maybe the worst we experienced so far. Poutine was not bad. But kofta tasted so bad, and shawarma tasted salmon. I guess both were cooked at the same grill without cleaning. We had high expectations before going, left with disappointment. Sorry, I have to be truthful.

Best Halal restaurant in QC. The owner/server is a gem of a person. Extremely kind and friendly. The food prepared is fresh, tasty and decent portions. Prices are good too and there is a big seating area (contrary to no or tight seating options in QC old Town). Totally recommended ️️️

Nous avons retenté l'expérience une deuxième fois dans ce restaurant, car nous adorons la cuisine libanaise. Or, en dépit que ce restaurant propose des plats libanais (shawarma/shish taouk), il ne les maîtrise aucunement: le poulet shish taouk est en fait du simple poulet déchiqueté (qu'on pourrait déchiqueter sois-même en fait) et ne parlons pas du sharwarma qui n'est constitué que de lanières de la taille de miniatures carottes brunes qui donnaient mal au coeur et que nous avons jetées après 2 bouchées, très frustrés. Nous aurions peut-être dû commander des plats typiquement marocains de chez eux - cuisine qu'ils semblent maîtriser à voir les commentaires des autres-. Autrement, franchement dégoûtant.

Honestly, the service and dish quality in creativity blew me away. The decor may need some improvement, but you don't go to restaurants for the decor.

I tried their kefta couscous which was a perfect marriage between the Lebanese and Morocan cuisines. Well done.

Worst ever service, worst quality of food, most expensive shawarma and Poutine I have ever had. It was a take away, but he didn't provide any plastic fork or knife, or napkins, instead he forced me to pay tips at least 15%, though we didn't use any of their facility, such as sitting or eating inside, using their chair or table, nothing, but he still insisted us on giving him tips. Never go there

Small serving portion and very rude on forcing 15% tip. He forces almost every other customer to pay him Tip. He was not happy and acted rude even I gave him $10 tip

4- epice etrange au couscous marocain/spices that are strange to couscous.
5-poulet cuit au four et ragoutee a la place de le cuire dans une marmite/chicken coocked in the oven and added after.while it should be cooked in stew pot like.
6-prix chere et portion petite/expanssive price for small portion!

Un lieu chaleureux qui rappelle le Maroc. Le gérant est très sympa, et la cuisine prépare de très bons plats.
Les prix sont abordables et les portions généreuses. Je vous recommande le couscous et la harira. Le thé à la menthe est servi bien chaud.

Owner forced me to include tip %15 for take out by standing in front on me when was paying out using debit for take out foods.he asked me to include tip and not showing me how to skip it. He took advantage of me not speaking french well.

Owner/manager was very nice and accommodated our group of 11 fairly quickly on Sat night. Great service, really tasty food, non spicy. The side hot sauce was very unique in taste and had a nice kick. This place should be rated higher for sure.

J'ai été très bien accueilli les deux fois où j'y suis allé.
Kefta en pita excellent. La deuxième fois; Merguez en pita, encore excellent.
Je n'ai pas essayé les assiettes, mais si vous voulez un pita on-the-go, c'est très bien.

J’aimais bcp ce restaurant il y a 2 ans quand je suis parti de QC et là j’ai commander sur door dash.vrm décevant honnêtement à 20$ et quelque l’assiette des patates sans aucun assaisonnements de la salade étrange en touca je sais pas ce qui est arrivé depuis le temps mais c’est dommage.

Je demande un Jaret d'agneau avec Riz et autres accompagnements. Tout était OK, lemplqt partait à lanpreparqtiob 2 secondes apres plus de riz. Je voulais des poivrons pour remplacer. Seulement juste avant le cuisinier avait préparer des assiettes pour eux de côté. En gros, ils font leurs assiettes avant celles des clients et si tu veux quelque chose ben tu peux pas car le cuisinier veut pas te faire ta portion de riz en 2 minutes. Le cuisinier à une façon de te répondre qui te laisse juste l'impression qu'il veut tes tunes et rien d'autre. Service clientèle ça connaît pas. 18 dollars pour avoir une cuillère de chaque accompagnement et avoir encore faim, ÇA FAIT CHÈRE! Accueil comme prix c'est bidon. Mon jatret était bon mais ne vaut VRAIMENT PAS CE PRIX!

What can I say. The food here was average. Though the prices are affordable, the service and food quality leave something to be desired.

Bought four plates- overpriced for terrible food. Do not waste your money. They had closed otherwise we wouldve gone back and asked them what it is that they served!

The food in this restaurant was a highlight to our trip in Quebec city. The food was great along with the service and hospitality. We appreciated the complimentary Moroccan Tea and Bakhlava.

Rien à dire sur la qualité/saveurs des plats, mais pour ce qui est du comportement d'un certain employé. On a bien été reçu par la caissière mais le cuisinier n'a vraiment pas le sens de la politesse. Premièrement, on demande s'ils font des kebabs (c'est écrit en gros dans la fenêtre) et la réponse est non. D'accord. Ensuite, on demande une assiette et ils n'en reste plus (à noter qu'on est peu avant le rush du soir et que normalement un restaurant fait de la préparation pour subvenir aux besoins des clients). On demande une autre assiette et puis finalement la moitié de ce qu'on a commandé (après avoir payé) n'est pas en "stock". On n'y retournera pas pour cette raison. Si vous y allez, y'aura sûrement juste les shish taouk au poulet de disponible.

En levant la bouffe dans mon ASSIETTE TROIS BELLE FOURMIS.
LA SERVEUSE A PRIS MON ASSIETTE Et j'ai rester avec ma bouffe dans les mains.wach wach le cuisinier m'a dit Ben non il y a pas fourmi autre que celle là. Après il dit avoir changer ma bouffe mes en trois seconde es revenue avec la même chose. Si Vous Manger La Vérifier car ils y en a des fourmies.je vous dit degulase.

Tasteless shawarma, tasteless chicken, tasteless rice, it is just an average place to eat. Based on the price i thought it would be really good but it completely let me down. They forced you to pay tip even if you are doing take away. The machine will never work if you will not pay the tip. And then the cashier will stare at you to make sure that you pay the tip. Only thing that looked good was the environment/ambiance but i didn't dine in.

Les employés ne connaissent pas leur menu: voilà deux fois que je commande un sandwich chawarma (d'après le menu, il s'agit d'un sandwich à la viande de boeuf et d'agneau) et que je me retrouve avec un sandwich au poulet, sec et sans saveur. Les prix récemment augmentés ne reflètent pas la qualité de la nourriture, qui est très variable d'une visite à l'autre. Toilettes sales.

Con: Expensive and the food is mediocre. The triple meat poutine didn't feel very fresh. $19 for a shawarma wrap, poutine and an a can of drink.

Easy walk from upper Old Quebec, and fantastic inexpensive food that delights the senses. Cozy restaurant, with friendly behind the counter help. Excellent lamb shanks with meat so tender that it fell off the bone. Bright yellow couscous, hearty potatoes and carrots, beet salad, refreshing tabouli, and yummy hummus. The hot Moroccan mint tea was a great complement to the to-die-for baklava.

Amazing! I look for the closest place to get Moroccan food whenever I travel to a Francophone area. Was blown away by this place and the service provided. The upstairs was opened for my group, and the owner came up and put on a mix of traditional music while we dined. Great price, definitely will come back!

The food is awful. I hate to say bad things about food, but for this place I have to say it.
We ordered the Shawarma Trio that comes with poutine.the poutine is simply soggy french fries with a drizzle of sauce and cheese pieces. The meat they use for shawarma has a very strange texture!
The chicken shawarma is ok.
The third plate which is your choice of three meats and rice and cold sides is less than ok, again the texture of the meat is strange.
The bottom line: don't go there.

Un très bon service personnels courtois et les sandwiches sont délicieuses accompagné de salades ce fut un très bon repas j'y retourne a chaque foi que je vais a Québec un vrai plaisir.

Each time I come to Quebec, this Moroccan joint is a MUST. Sandwiches, tagine, shanks.try them all but make sure to save room for some Baklava. LITERALLY THE BEST BAKLAVA EVER. Take a bunch to go too, it's that delicious.
