Express is a no teller branch, they are very helpful to open account for new comers to Canada, no appointments needed. No ABM after closing time and no Western Union. But beside that very well service

Their employees set my saving account to my preferred account without letting me know, so every time I tap my card, or select paying through chequing account, it goes directly through my saving account, so every time I have to pay more. I didn’t notice it before, but last month I lost my credit card, so I have to use my debit card, and one day here comes a $110 Scotia service fee, I was truly shocked. I report the mistake, and hope to get my money back, since It is not my problem, because they didn’t even tell me they set my preferred account to my saving account, if they would tell me I will definitely say no, I’m looking forward to find a way to solve this problem. BUT AT THIS BRANCH, THEY HAD THEIR EMPLOYEES TO CALL ME AT SATURDAY MORNING ACCUSING ME, AND SAYING “ IT’S YOUR PROBLEM”, I DONT KNOW WHY THEY ARE SO AGRESSIVE? I’m speechless, I had business with this branch for 6 years, the first five years was fine, until the Indian lady calling me this morning, ruin my day. I have no choice but change my home branch to another one, so whoever thinking about having service with this branch, BE CAREFUL.

CUSTOMER SERVICE IS TERRIBLE!

I've been waiting for my credit card for two months! I have been so patient but nobody has been able to solve my problem, either in the branch or call center and I am so tired of this situation.

It is very difficult to contact the call center (the system doesn't work well and the waiting time is very long) and the bank employees don't care about my situation

I definitely do not recommend this bank. Better look for other options.

The worst branch and manager.

The bank didn't send me my credit card for 2 months (which is their mistake, it should be sent in 7 business days), so I called the customer service to ask if I will be charged extra when I use my debit card instead. The customer service said it's okay, so I continued to use it. At the end of 2 months, I've been charged around 500 dollars by the bank. When I came to the branch to ask for reimbursement, they said they are not related to the customer service and they cannot reimburse me. The manager was extremely condescending. I don't understand how a branch of SCOTIA BANK is not related to the customer service of SCOTIA BANK.

When I went to another branch though, they said they would reimburse me if they were my main branch. So just go open your account in another one so you don't need to deal with the annoying manager.

The 2 lady (young and old) Very rude, Unhelpful and unprofessional

I created a bank online and they couldn’t find my account when I got there. Terrible service. I don’t think they understand Scotia’s banking system. Clearly you can open an account online and find it. I went to another branch, next door and they found my account. I wasted 30 minutes in there trying to prove I had an account. Useless service. A manager should see this.

Very rude, very unprofessional, untrained people over there. I meet with Maimouna Agne. People do not book appointment here because they are not there to attend you. I was told that i am not able to join accounts because she is not feeling that right. She was a student and do not why these people in charge. Do not go for this branch they are the rudest people on this planet.

A+ in destroying relationships. Had much better service earlier, I guess all competent people left for greener pastures. This branch is communism at its finest

Just got to Canada without knowing much canadian banks and their staff did a fantastic job to explain everything to me with a great attitude. Would definitely recommend this branch.

Not at teller service. Basically not a full branch. A lot of problems due to road work to get here.

This is Scotia bank express. They only have ATM machines at this spot. No real banking service there.

Scotia Bank Warning to all clients and anyone considering doing business with them in the near future, If ever you are a victim of fraud good luck getting any help or assistance from anyone after 3 days, 50 phone calls, multiple hours of holding on for different departments or supervisors I have yet to talk to anyone that can assist me or at least not lie or invent things, Interac is a zero liability service against fraud beyond your control and being a recent victim of fraud I can tell you that for scotia bank they don’t care and wont help you will get no where with them they don’t even bother reporting the fraud, on the other hand TD bank 1 phone call 5 minutes and it was reported the next day it was corrected and refunded not even 24h later. In the same incident. Go figure who is the better bank! And i don’t even bank with TD, I defiantly will in the near future! Stay away from Scotia bank! Horrible customer service the worst I’ve ever experienced!

When I just arrived to this city, I didn’t have a clue about accounts in Canada. Luckily I went here and found an amazing woman called Angelica, she was super nice, and patient with me and my husband. Since last fall I have all my services with Scotia Bank and I am really happy with the quality of service there.

Mauvais service! Même la superviseur réfère les clients au numéro 1-800 au lieu de les aider. Bref, la seule personne qui donne un bon service dans cette succursale est le guichet à l’entrée lorsqu’il n’est pas hors service.
