Aucun professionnalisme et en plus les heures d’ouverture ne sont pas flexible, le guichet automatique fonctionne a peu prés

Je suis présentement à cette banque à 12: 46pm un lundi (non férié) et il y a seulement une représentante aux guichets. Nous sommes 5 personnes à attendre en ligne pour compléter des transactions.
Épouvantable.

I showed at 4: 55 at this location and the lady is about to lock the door as i’m entering.
She says it 5
I politely say no, it isn’t. I showed my watch and she looks at hers

She locks the door.

As I’m writing this review more people show up and she refuses to open the door.

It wasn’t 5 yet.

I used to work at pizza hut, we closed the doors right at closing time not before it.

The managers are great! Some of the staff need a bit more training, but the managers are very knowledgeable.

Unprofessional staff.

Chew gums while talking to customer. Cut up my old card and threw it away without asking me. Refuse to give it back and multiple staffs repeatedly tell me the obvious: "once you cancel the card, it doesn't work". Uh ye? I want my old card back still for record keeping. Do I need your permission?

The worst experience ever had with a bank. Sent me a credit card then blocked it without telling. Worst of all no one knows what to do

Je veux simplement ouvrir un compte pour mon garcon.cest pratiquement impossible de le faire: impossible de parler a un reprensant par telephone 45 mins d attente, en succurcale, impossible car la personne qui fait ca est jamais la, par internet, impossible car le systeme indique de le faire en personne a la derniere etape.

I was there a few days ago to use the ATM machine to get cash for the first time in 10 years or so. The instruction on the ATM was a bit confusing, so I needed to try again and again for Fast Cash stuff. Eventually, I was able to get $80, but it took me 15 minutes.

Mauvaise expérience avec cette succursale. Le personnel est très hostile. Je suis venue pour remplacer une carte débit qui m’a été refusé en raison de l’emplacement de mon ancienne succursale se trouvant à Ottawa. Malgré que j’avais le personnel de la banque Scotia au téléphone ainsi que la preuve de ma nouvelle demeure à Gatineau; la directrice a refusé de remplacer ma carte et m’a répondu d’un ton méprisant. Je suis donc aller à la banque Scotia au galerie de Hull qui eux, ce sont fait un plaisir de remplacer ma carte sans problème. J’espère que pour leur prochain client une ouverture à la communication et à la compréhension sera de mise.

Be prepared to wait a lifetime for a simple transaction. They never have enough people working in the front and the one person that is working moves at the pace of a turtle or has an attitude. Every time I have come here, I wait at least 45 minutes in line. I am seriously considering switching to BMO or desjardins because the service is atrocious. Save your time, go elsewhere

They cant even deposit a check properly said they would call me to get it off hold surprise no call they ask me every 2 weeks if this is my pay check they are horrid

Worst bank in the history of the planet. Atm hasn't worked in 3 weeks, staff lie about how long processes take. They just tell you to call the 1800 number and then the 1800 number tells you to go back to the branch.had to speak with the manager to get the issue resolved due to the incompetence of the employees.

Really rude. I guess because I spoke English. She didn't say a word to me just goodbye when she deposited my money.

I can hardly ever use the drive-by ATM to deposit a cheque because it always says “non disponible”. Today, even the ATM inside was “non disponible”. What use are you to me if I can’t even deposit my money? Absolutely ridiculous.

I have to say that the help that i got and service that i receive everytime from people that work in this branch is amaizing. Special thanks to Evgeny Petrenko for best advise in mortgage plan.

Great location! I have been recently going there for everything and the staff there are amazing! Loved the management!

I am very disappointed with this branch. I had higher expectations given the reviews that I have read here. It is obviously being managed by somebody who does not understand (or even cares) about customer satisfaction. Like with all things in business and customer service its the little things that count and they do not care about the little things. I suggest making the drive to Les Galeries de Hull or an Ontario branch. I really wish I could give 0 stars.

I had the pleasure to meet Evgani many years ago at Scotiabank bank. Since then, Evgani moved to multiple locations and I kept following him to where he worked at. The service I get is always yes and let me see what is possible, he gave an advice for every scenario I’ve faced with my finances. Thanks again I will keep coming to see you for my financial needs.

Worst customer service ever! This branch should close down! Called them 4 times and left a message and no one called me back. Even called the branch manager didn’t even bother to call back!

Service à la clientèle nul. Ça ressemble plus à du racisme. Je n irai plus jamais là. Compte va changer de succursale incessamment. C est le pire service qu on peut recevoir dans une banque au 21e siècle. La caissière à proche de l entrée principale de ce après midi 13 décembre 2019, je m’ en éloignerais.

This place was happier than I thought.
I don’t usually find myself in this part of Gatineau, but I was nearby and really had to do some banking. Being in unknown territory, I was reluctant to visit here, but after my visit it’s got me wondering why I don’t come here all the time! My experience was THAT good. I’d drive past every other ScotiaBank branch and all the other banks just to come to this one.

By far the best Banking experience I've had. Wasnt planning on shifting my business to Scotiabank but they consistently knocked it out of the park with exceptional knowledge & service. Wouldn't be surprised if this Branch Manager gets snapped up- He's that good.

J'ai pris une marge de crédit pour payer la balance de ma nouvelle maison. En même temps, j'ai remboursé l'hypothèque restante de l'ancienne maison. Mme L Desjardins m'a dit qu'elle ne peut m'émettre un document de quittance étant donné que la maison (ancienne) n'est pas vendue. J'ai trouvé cela un peu bizarre. Cette maison a été vendue il y a qq semaines;je lui envoyé 2 emails lui demandant d'émettre ce document de quittance. Jamais eu de réponse. J'ai appris à travers mon notaire qu'elle avait mis l'ancienne maison en garantie (pour la ligne de crédit) et que la quittance sera émise une fois la marge payée. Je n'avais pas été avisé de ceci. Cette façon de faire est aussi inhabituelle. Les 2 autres succursales Scotia auparavant ont été correctes.

I don't know if it is a lack of proper training in customer service or just incompetency but when two representatives are giving out conflicting advice, it does say a lot about the service you are getting!

WOW! What an awful customer service. In fact, we've never experienced worst service from a bank than this one! Too bad we can't give them zero stars!
It has been at least 5 weeks that we have been waiting for call from the financial advisor (Lynn Desjardins) after having submitted our application for a loan, and NO ONE has bothered to call us back, including the manager of the branch. We've called a number of times, spoke with the national help desk, and NOTHING! Never again we will be back here and will be more than happy to move our business including mortgage elsewhere.
Don't waist your time on this branch!

Super service! Enfin une banque avec des gens compétent sa fait changement de certaines succursale.

I hade great service inside, a couple errors here and there. I go to use atm and there are no envelops. Not very happy about that situation.
