When a bank assumes one is being defrauded without evidence and after the Fraud department says there is no fraud, this branch will make you close your account based upon an assumption. You don't have ANY choice with this branch!

Beware, all new clients. Scotiabank has a new policy in place. All deposits will be withheld until they verify its not fraud which could take 10 business days on top of the normal time it takes to be credited to yr account. The bank will automatically freeze yr account without explanation when it come to a deposit from anywhere. Its their new policy to protect their clients.

Je ne recommande vraiment pas, j'aimerais revenir en arrière et jamais avoir entrée dans cette succursale. Si vous voulez nuire a votre crédit c'est la meilleure place. Imaginez demander d'ouvrir un compte de succession et personne sais c'est quoi! J'ai perdu du temps, de l'argent, des points a mon crédit à cause des supposés agents financiers qui ne savent pas ce qui font. Et par dessus cá mon compte à êté fraudé. Alors si vous voulez vivre l'enfer financiers, je vous invite a passer a la Banque scotia a Aylmer et demandé pour Laurent! Ou sa directrice qui se cache derrière. Voilá.

This is the worst Scotia Bank branch in town. Do not go there. Their customer service is rude and incompetent. There's no consistency and the level of incompetence is at all levels. From the tellers to the director, the customer service is non existent. Special horrible mention to Myriam Mouawad, the bank manager, for being rude and confrontational.

The worst branch I’ve ever had to deal with. The Customer service is absolutely horrible. Extremely rude, condescending attitude. They are not willing to help me with any issue that has ever come up with my time banking with Scotia. Very unwelcoming environment. One lady in particular that said she was the “manager” at the teller is particularly rude I am not one to leave bad reviews but this place deserves a -5 stars

I can no longer use the swipe of my credit card and i've been trying to obtain assistance from scotia bank but no luck.
I've call numerous time the number on the back of the card just to end up waiting long period on the phone with no answers. Hours! Then i went to the branch directly and they can't do anything other then to tell you to call the number on the back of the card! Very poor service if you ask me. I will be moving to a different bank with hope to get a better service.

Pire service bancaire auquel j'ai eu à faire face. Cette succursale a commis erreur par dessus erreur avec mon dossier, ce qui a causé de vrais problèmes, et ils ne respectent pas leur parole. Lorsque j'ai pris rendez-vous en succursale, je me suis fait invectiver par une conseillère et elle m'a clairement fait comprendre que cette banque n'est pas là pour ses clients. De plus, ils harcèlent leur clients avec des appels automatisés incessants, même après les avoir appelé pour que cessent ces dérangements. Je vais bientôt fermer tous mes comptes avec cette banque et jamais je ne recommanderai cette banque à qui que ce soit, encore moins la succursale d'Aylmer. Ne faites surtout pas affaire avec eux!

Hi, each and every time I am in need of a services this branch is failing. Impossible to reach someone over the phone. Leaving messages for never receiving call back. When ask to perform a transaction in the account it is not done until I asked for many follow up. Cashier are often left by themselves and they cannot answer my inquiries because there is no one available to support them. I left this branch many chances and now am moving my business to Le Plateau.

If there was 0 stars I'd pick that. The staff is totally incompetent. Have no idea what they're doing. Waited for them to figure out and consult each other for 30 min for a simple banking transaction. Meanwhile a long line up of customers behind me. Horrible customer service and staff that isn't trained properly and/or just don't care. Even the financial advisor I spoke with was pushy! Steer clear unless you like be frustrated!

Would rate 0 but there is no option. The manager of this establishment is the rudest and the most unprofessional representative I have ever encountered. None of the staff is properly trained and its clear. The lack of customer service has to be the worst part of the scotiabank experience. Switched to TD and I can honesty that they deserve stars accross the board! I have seen the light and will neer be back to Scotiabank!

With the revolving door of staff at this branch is difficult to trust whoever is holding your file. I've watched the service levels decline constantly though the past several years, and will be changing banks soon as I'm tired of the constant runaround

They deceived me out of a loan. In 2015 I took out a loan for $3000. It was for five years so I just found out they put 25 years instead and after four years of paying every month I owe today $4500. I can't believe my loan is going up instead of down. Bunch of crooks!

Went in to buy a bank draft and was treated like an international bank fraudster. Incredible. Teller wasn't even moderately polite and the supervisor he called over had the demeanour of a homicide detective.

Something wrong with the culture at this place.

Very poor customer service, the mortgage department does not listen to your requests or get in contact with you, you have to constantly leave emails and voicemails to get one off email replies. I have never worked with someone/an institution who does not value there clients or have any customer service skills.

I'm going to say it now and I don't care. Worst client-service ever. I had a savings account I kept open so I could invest money. When I finally saved enough money to invest, they closed down my account days earlier WITHOUT notice or without any sort of phone call, or anything. Now they are asking me to go to the branch again to reopen another savings account. I mean this is a savings account we are talking about. A courtesy call would have been nice or even just a notification would have been appreciated, but then again, this is client-service I forgot, a thing you don't actually focus on anymore. Now I have to drive around, waste time so I can open another one? Not a chance, I'll open one in RBC or TD and I'll invest money with them.

Worst service I received in a bank, dismissed my problem like it was nothing, and the worst in that is the person who spoke with me was the one responsible for that branch. That speaks volume

This branch used to have great costumer service now it seems like everytime I go in to do banking they say that they cannot assist me and that I would have to either complete this online or over the phone.would not recommend.

J'ai toujours la chance d'avoir la jeune femme d'origine libanaise. Elle est toujours souriante et aimable. Elle ne perd jamais patiente.

Very disappointed. They closed they're doors before closing time (5 pm on Mondays & Tuesdays) and ignored me. I was there at 4h55 and I only had a quick question but no one came to the door. Very poor service.
