The food is always good, honestly. I just don't like to dine in because it smells fishy, but of course, it's fish, so it will smell fishy.
I love the food, though, and we always drive far to get here

Le poisson est pourrit il y a de l’odeur on a informer le propriétaire il s’en fou aucun professionnalisme imaginez qu’il a laisser le poisson. J’ai vomis tout ce que j’ai manger plus tard donc attention s’il vous plaît

I enjoyed the fresh food a lot with excellent sensoning and great service. I passed a meaningful birthday with my friends there.

This has always been a seafood lover’s hidden gem. Not a lot of people know that they probably have the best calamari in MTL. Rayan’s is delicious, but they certainly have the best spices and much better fried seafood there is than other seafood restaurants. The shrimp and calamari are the go to, they are crispy and super fresh!

My first time at LA Mer Rouge and I totally recommend it, the service was great, the food was delicious and Hanane the waitress was amazing, she was polite, sociable and very respectful.

La portion est tres petite par rapport au prix (6 crevettes a 20 $) come on

La livraison s est retardée pour une demi-heure.
Le repas en général n est pas délicieux.
La poisson (chips and frites) n est pas frais (avec l odeur). Pizza est mouillé, salade à l aire déjà être servir (pas du tout frais) frite est brûlée … 6 petit crevettes pour 13$! Seule chose qui est bonne c est la canette du cola et ketchups avec la sauce. Pour le prix 180$ vaut pas la peine même goûter gratuitement.

Hanane has a beautiful smile and gave us a wonderful customer service.
The atmosphere was nice, all staffs were amazing and the food was nice.

It is actually a community restaurant with fish market. Nice and clean, the raw seafood does attract quite a bit of flies.
The soup was decent, yet the mussel in it didn't seem fresh too me, they all melt into the soup.
The Basa fish was fried into a soft chunk which pretty good. The seasoning is on the litter side.
Would be a good family restaurant for the community.

The food was good and delicious and the service was perfect, the waitresses are kind and nice but, i will give it 3 stars because when i was there i saw the owner was rude with the waitresses and i don’t like the way he was talking with them. We are humans and i would not be happy when i see someone insulting poor people just because he is the upper hand. Otherwise the food was good and i liked everything in the restaurant.

Really delicious food!

At first guy at the counter seemed a bit grumpy and impatient (I think he's the owner) but after talking to him more times he seemed nicer. The lady server (it seemed she's his wife) was always super nice.

Tasty salad and fries, crunchy delectable fish. Calamari was on point and the garlic shrimp and octopus were awesome too.

Overall experience in the end I'd give 6 stars if I could. Fast, good service with really great good. Will definitely come back.:)

J'y suis allée avec mon conjoint un peu par hasard et quelle belle surprise! Nous avons commandé une salade, du riz et des crevettes à l'ail. La personne qui a pris notre commandé était vraiment gentille et à l'écoute. La cuisson des crevettes était merveilleuse, la salade et le riz, vraiment délicieux. Une très belle découverte et ce n'est certainement pas la dernière fois que je vais y aller!
