I had the worst experience ever! The owner/manager or whoever that was the rudest person I have ever met! First I sat and the first thing he said was if I wanted to buy something after me buying a coffee I had a small sandwich that I wanted to eat and he came to me and said "you are not allowed to do it here! " As if I was smoking or something. There are better ways to talk to people! This is the first time I am experiencing something like this. I always go Starbucks and tim hortons and never had any rude feedback like this. The rules is one thing the attitude is another thing! Hope this person learns in his life to have a better behavior towards his customers! Such a shame! I would never go back to this place! Just by looking at all the 1 star reviews you can tell that I was not the first person that experienced this. I hope he learns from his behavior to be nicer to people!

The place is full of russian symbols: flags, toys and so on. When I came to tell that such objects can offend customers from the countries where russia caused the war, I was told that ‘’two weeks ago somebody already came to say so, but our owner is russian’’ Actually, it explains all the comments here from other people about the very bad service from the owner

Super café! Très bon rapport qualité-prix. Avec en supplément un serveur très gentil et plutôt mignon ;)

Personnel pas très accueillant, la politesse ça paye parfois, ici non.

Juste WOW! Je ne suis habituellement pas fan de la nourriture des chaînes de café, mais à Ce Secund Cup j'ai dégusté un croissant fromage des plus savoureuse!

Ordered two smoothies, one was only 3/4 of the usual volume, one had huge chunks of ice (shown in the picture) that blocked the straw completely. When we were trying to change straws the waitress told us to move because we were “blocking the way and other people cannot get their drinks” while no customer was ordering or waiting.
Probably shouldn’t get smoothies at a coffee shop anyway

Cute interior with efficient and friendly staff. The coffee is okay - does the job. A nice place to sit and get some work done.

Excellent Service, always friendly and the cafe always with a packed environment. Many tourists do drop by. I go there almost 7 days week and bring my laptop. 6 Star rating If I could!

My brother and I walked in today to grab a coffee and a bite to eat. At first and while I was still by the entrance, the owner “Michel Akoury” screamed at me to put a mask on because of the new COVID regulation starting today and I immediately did.

We sat on a table, awaiting our brother to arrive and so we can place the order together, and the owner said “ok” initially, but he won’t accept 3 of the “same household” to sit on one table, and again we said “ok, we will follow his rules”. The table was dirty, and we didn’t complain, we cleaned it ourselves.

Then he passed by again and told us that we cannot sit without ordering, we said “yes, my brother will be arriving now”, then he repeated that we cannot sit and started mumbling in French! I told him if he wasn’t comfortable with us being there, we could leave, and he said “yes, please leave the coffee shop and pointed at the door”!
What a hospitality! I feel sorry for his employees and customers!

We gladly left to a nearby coffee shop where we were able to sit together on one table, chat and had fun!

Note to owner: By the way “Michel Akoury”, you shouldn’t take off your face shield or mask while you are sitting there not eating or drinking, COVID is now officially “airborne”. Maybe you should follow the rules first, before asking your clients to do so! You need to be the “role model”!

A chaque séjour à Montréal je viens ici prendre quelques cafés et petits déjeuners! Un client qui revient c’est un client heureux!
Et pour cause, c’est bon, l’ambiance est top, l’équipe très sympa, et puis la vue, elle est pas mal non plus ;-)
Bref je me sens bien ici!

Mon second cup préféré à Montréal. Un service chaleureux, un endroit impeccablement propre et un excellent latte!

This place is the best 2nd cup in Montreal. Excellent coffee, service, and especially the friendliness of the owner, Michel.

If you are an English speaker to go this café you will have a bad morning. And they focus on the training new stuff but ignore the customer feeling.

Ordered a large Frocho and a large Mocca frap. One of the baristas told me that they dont have mocca fraps which left me confused because im a second cup barista myself and I know whats on the menu. Maybe they wanted me to call it a "frappé", who knows. My Frocho came out looking really light and it tasted like blended milk with ice. They probably didn't put enough frocho powder but I didn't want to make a big deal out of it since the girl making my drink seemed new. Although the drinks were somewhat disappointing, the baristas were overall really nice hence the 3 stars. Just make sure to know whats on the menu and the memorize the recipes girls!
