Nice theatre and seems to be well run. We defintely enjoy our show but the seating was a little uncomfortable after a while.

My daughter and I have bought season tickets at The Segal Centre for Performing Arts for well over a decade now, and even though I don't always love the plays that I see they always leave me with strong emotions. Happiness, enjoyment, surprise, anger, sadness, fear, disgust. I have felt it all at one time or another during one of their performances.

Isn't that what theatre is all about?

When you see a play it instills in you ideas, feelings, and emotions, and you end up asking yourself different questions, testing your boundaries, and being introduced to new concepts and ideas. Sometimes a play may even change your beliefs.

Even if you don't want to buy season tickets like I do you may want to go to the Segal Centre to see a play once in a while during the season.

Every seat is the best seat in the house in this intimate theater. I am continually fascinated with what they can do with their stage.

I am very much looking forward to the 2022 - 2023 theatre season!

Lovely theatre, bar inside the entrance, very welcoming staff, great theatre stage lighting. Free street parking nearby if you are early.

Beautiful and modern space for theatre and the arts. Comfortable seats, cozy waiting area and nice location in Montreal. The latest Dracula show was hilarious and perfectly delivered in every way! Congratulations to the whole cast and crew. I will be visiting again!

Great venue. I like the vibe. Friendly and unpretentious. As for the performances, every season offers another run of interesting and entertaining shows. Of course, the bar is a nice touch. I've gone a dozen times to see a play or musical, and I've always enjoyed the evening immensely.

Nous venons d'aller voir la comédie Dracula au Centre Segal: fantastique! La salle n'est pas très grande, donc on voit bien de partout, le son est excellent et les employés étaient d'une gentillesse exemplaire!

I found that a lot of the Segal Center was amateurish. For example, I got a drink at the bar, they then announced that we were allowed to have drinks in the theater. I bring my drink to my seat, and someone comes over and asks me to go back to the bar to get a plastic glass. Why did they give me a glass made of glass in the first place? I also had an injured leg and was limping especially on the stairs, and despite the fact that I asked the greeters which way to get to my seat, they pointed up the stairs, which I climbed, and then I had to go down the stairs to my seat which was row 3. It was then that I saw a number of people who were allowed to enter from the side and got to skip the all the stairs. Odd they did not mention this to me when I asked.

The MOST professional thing about the Dracula performance at the Segal Center was the show itself. The actors were GREAT! The multiple roles were played for laughs. The sets were fun. The theater itself is beautiful. And the writing was very good.

So, to summarize, great job to the performers, and the rest of the staff needs some training.

We love going to see plays here. The staff is truly lovely on the phone and in person. The theatre is clean and takes all the precautions to ensure we are kept healthy. The shows are really first class. Season ticket holder for years. Free parking when you subscribe!
