T's a pity there's no rating of 10. I've been searching for a long time for a place where I could find both a skilled stylist and good quality hair. I've been coming to this salon for a year now, and I've never doubted the quality of the hair or the expertise of my stylist.

Second time doing nanoplastia here and it did not disappoint! The staff were so nice and friendly, and did a great job on my hair. It’s a long process but it’s such an enjoyable experience at Sensavie and the time flies. I will definitely be back!

J’ai été dans ce salon pour un Botox capillaire, on m’a suggéré la technique Cold recovery et c’était extrêmement raté!

Évitez les soins dans ce salon.

J’ai payé 300$ pour le traitement et je suis sortie de cet endroit avec les mêmes cheveux (même pas 1% de différence après traitement) En plus je me suis sentie hyper attaquée par la fille qui me faisait le soin quand j’ai exprimé mon étonnement.

En sortant du salon une cliente m’a suivie à la sortie pour me confirmer que leur soin Botox est raté et qu’elle avait eu une mauvaise expérience également.

Le personnel n’accepte aucun commentaire constructif. Tout ce que je reçois comme réponse: vos cheveux sont abîmés et c’est normal que le traitement ne marche pas (GROS MENSONGE PUBLIC)

Avant le traitement, la fille m’a répété au moins 3 ou 4 fois qu’une différence flagrante sera vue sur mes cheveux (60 à 70%) - elle a utilisé un appareil infrarouge qui ne sert absolument à rien (en me faisant croire qu’il a le même effet qu’un fer à aplatir)

Personnel très loin de dire la vérité. Elles changent de version et d’attitude quand le client est insatisfait, aulieu de trouver un accommodement pour la clientèle.

Unfortunately 2 stars is what I think you deserve, I used to go here to buy my hair product and had a blast. But once they moved, it becomes too far for me to go there. I've been having shipping problem with them too. Unfortunately, there is no guarantee for you that you will get the product by Canadian post or even by their own shipping. They'll ask for shipping fee that will results in never getting your product unless you go there. Honestly, very disappointed in their service.

I came across an Instagram page of katryna everything seems to be wonderful glitters results are stunning so I decided to call and do my usual kératine nano treatment since I was visiting Montreal for work and my hairdresser from Toronto she was on mat leave unfortunately to do the treatment.but I had to do my kératine my hair was damaged frizzy dry and worn out. I trusted the instagram lol.
Went to the salon receptionist was not smiling at all just waiting to leave, the salon was new clean and beautiful, katryna greeted me with smile she was nice trying to explain the process I told her I have done multiple times.after few min she start mixing a new product that she claimed from Brazil I told her why not FELP oh she said this is better anyhow long story short I finished the treatment I had the shine and straight hair but I know as someone who does the treatment that not the final result I have to shampoo to see. Went to pay and boom 400$ double price compared to Toronto plus tip please lol what a joke. Went home everything was smooth until I shower…. My hair was literally falling apart fried like crunchy calamari lol it’s ironic but I cried never had that in my life I panicked. Went to a hairdresser she said it’s not professional what she have done I wish I can upload pictures so u see the catastrophic result. I called her of course refused to answer my calls after multiple attempts she called telling me I will fix it I’m a professional blah blah blah lol stating that she was the boss and I will give u 6 month credit to return and do it again coz I asked for my money back she was rude over the phone screaming she didn’t want to give the money back even she agreed that the result was awful. Moral of the day please girls don’t trust what u see on Instagram it’s an illusion trust a hairdresser who shows reviews after shampoo. To end this SENSAHORROR I cut my hair to a Tom boy and start K18 to heal my hair. I feel terrible not only the services was catastrophic and the attitude on the phone heartless such a rip off.

Was in hair extensions. The work is done by the master perfectly, let's see how it will be worn. The salon is new, well renovated, friendly staff.

The place itself is beautiful and friendly staff makes you feel comfortable and welcoming. Had my haircut and hair dyeing with Sofiko, she did an amazing job, choosing best options for me. Katherine did my extensions very carefully, without damaging my hair and made it look very natural. Very happy with the results. And last but not least was manicure and pedicure from Kathrine, who did her job fast, neatly and with positive attitude.

The colorists who work here are just magical!

I always dye my hair in blonde. This time the master advised me the AirTouch technique. The result is exactly what I expected!

And most importantly, my hair remained safe and sound. They don't break off because the materials in the salon are of high quality and the consistency of the product was selected correctly by colourist.

Great place and experience! I did a Keratin treatment with Katya, she is amazing and really knows what she is doing. My hair ended up very straight just like I wanted and stayed straight even after blowdrying for many months. It's been 6 months since and I will return to see her for another treatment. My appointment was on 12p.m and I requested a service that it is going to take 4 hours duration. I called them at 12: 02 to tell them that I’m on my way and it is going to probably to take 15-30 minutes for me to arrive.

Their reply to me is the following (no! We are not going to wait for you and we are going to take your 50$ deposit and cancel your appointment)
They cancel my appointment at 12: 03 and refused to refund my deposit 50$.

So I turned around and went back to my home.

So I was on my way to their salon and confirming that I will be there but I they cancel my appointment regardless of my situation and on top of all they took my money even though I was on my way to come to their Salon.

RUN! They are scammer

This situation shows that they are desperate for money and they really don’t care to provide a good quality service.

Really bad experience. I made an appointment for doing Nano treatment on my hair. Although I warned them about having bleached on my hair, they were not careful and after first wash, I figured out the result is awful, I called and asked for a refund but they suggested for a retouch which was free ‘Botox’. However, it made it worst than before!
For me this experience was such a waste of time and money.

I made my Keratine with Kateryna and she is the best. I loveee the results every time I go. Believe me you will have shiny, straight and silky hair for so much time. My hair is no longer frizzy and I love it! I bleached my hair in the past and it was so damaged and she restored my hair as well with Botox. Botox is another treatment you can try depending on your needs it’s awesome! Now my hair is way much healthier and strong. She is the best in MTL! Thank you so much!

I did my first hair extension at Sensavie salon with hair master Katerina and from now on I am doing all my hair procedures only there!
The service was perfect: my appointment was on time and the stuff was very nice and kind.

What concerns the hair extensions, the work done was absolutely spiteful, delicate and each capsule on my head was identical. Also I don't feel the hair extension which is very nice and my hair looks and feel super natural!

Je déconseille fortement cet établissement. Voici mon expérience.
Il y a de cela quelques mois, j'ai décidé de faire un traitement de kératine à mes cheveux. En effet, cela faisait un moment que j'étais abonnée à leur compte Instagram. Je tiens à mentionner que j'habite assez loin du salon, donc j'ai quand même eu une longue distance à parcourir pour faire ce traitement.
1) Une fois arrivée, j'ai été surprise de voir que les employés ne parlaient pas un mot français, à l'exception de la réceptionniste. Heureusement que je me débrouille en anglais, mais cela aurait pu être un inconvénient pour d'autres client (e) s.
2) À peine une journée après le traitement, j'ai constaté que mes cheveux commençaient déjà à onduler alors que je respectais les consignes demandées (à noter que j'ai les cheveux ondulés à la base et que le traitement est censé durer 6 MOIS). J'ai tout de même essayé de les lisser afin de maintenir le résultat, mais en vain.
3) Après quelques jours, je les ai contacté sur Instagram pour leur faire part de la situation, ils m'ont dit de revenir au salon pour vérifier l'état de mes cheveux. Bien que ce soit un trajet de plus de 50 minutes pour moi, j'y suis allée (alors que c'est leur faute, et non la mienne). Katherina a vérifié mes cheveux et a affirmé qu'ils étaient bel et bien ondulés.
4) Au lieu de refaire le traitement, celle-ci m'a dit, et je cite, « Oh, tu n'as qu'à refaire un traitement de botox capillaire une prochaine fois ». Je lui ai fait comprendre que j'ai payé pour ce service, et que je souhaitais les résultats qui viennent avec. Elle a donc fini par me proposer de « revenir une prochaine fois pour refaire que le bas ». Sur le coup, j'ai accepté malgré moi. En effet, dans le cas d'une adolescente de 16 ans, seule, face à des employés toutes beaucoup plus âgée que moi, c'est une réaction légitime.
5) Je leur ai donc envoyé un message expliquant mon insatisfaction, notamment dû au fait que j'allais devoir faire un trajet de minimum 50 minutes 3 fois et que je souhaitais qu'elles me refassent le traitement. J'ai été respectueuse jusqu'à la fin, sans les blâmer, juste en faisant part de mon ressenti. Elles m'ont envoyé un message, sans répondre à ma demande, me disant seulement qu'il fallait en parler dans le salon, alors que ça ne change rien à la situation ou à ma demande. Elles m'ont par la suite demandé de les appeler.
6) J'ai dû appeler 5 fois avant qu'elles ne daignent de me répondre, mon interlocutrice était rude et impolie envers moi. Elle ne me laissait pas placer un mot, mon père a fini par prendre le téléphone pour répondre à ma place. Celle-ci m'a traité « d'adolescente pleine d'hormones. Elle a également accusé mon père d'harcèlement, pour la simple et unique raison que j'ai souhaité réclamer un service pour lequel j'ai payé. Une telle accusation est grave. Elle a finalement accepté de me donner le rendez-vous, lorsqu'elle a réalisé l'erreur du salon, tout en continuant dans son impolitesse. Par la suite, elle nous a raccroché au nez.
7) J'ai reçu un courriel comme quoi j'avais un nouveau rendez-vous. Après de tels propos de leur part et un tel service, j'étais inquiète de retourner dans ce salon. Ainsi, j'ai décidé de faire une mise-en-demeure, que vous retrouverez facilement dans le registre des entreprises si vous faites une recherche. Une mise-en-demeure existe pour protèger le client dans de telles situations.
8) Elles ont alors décidé d'annuler le rendez-vous lorsqu'elles ont vu la mise-en-demeure, et lorsque je les ai contacté par courriel, j'ai été accusé d'harcèlement. C'est une accusation grave qu'il ne faut pas prendre à la légère. Il faudrait revoir votre définition d'harcèlement. Je vous ai envoyé deux messages sur Instagram concernant la situation, un seul courriel, et nous avons eu un seul appel téléphonique. Vous pouvez tous les ressortir et vous constaterez que j'ai toujours été polie et respectueuse à votre égard, contrairement à vous. Bref, j'ai jeté 400$ à la poubelle.

Last week I received my first-ever keratin treatment at Sensavie, and my life was changed forever (or at least for the next six months). I was refered by few friends and finally i did it. I know it's hyperbolic, but when you have hair like mine—brittle, frizzy, impossible to tame—and all of sudden it dries smooth, silky, and shiny in under ten minutes, it is, in fact, life changing. J'ai fait le traitement Botox capillaire et je constate que j'ai vraiment jeté mon argent! Aucun résultat! Très très déçue! La technicienne Kateryna manque d'expérience et essayait de mettre le moins possible de produit, au point où la dernière mèche de cheveux est restée sèche. Une vraie perte d'argent et de temps, je le regrette vraiment. Mauvaise expérience pour moi. Je ne le

I don’t usually give a negative feedback to anybody! But I thought, some feedbacks can be a good thing for the business owners in order to improve their job. First of all, I should say that the sensavie salon is a great place with nice and warm personnel. But, there are some things need to say, me and my mother had an appointment in this salon for the hair botox and nanoplasty training session. My mother is a hairdresser that was going to know more about nanoplastia treatment that is offering by sensavie salon. I was as a model for my mother and we did this treatment in that day my mother learned lots of things from a nice trianer in there. My result was perfect and I really enjoyed from my silky and shiny hair.we asked her about after treatment tasks, she advised us to use sulphate free shampoos or using shampoo from the company that they are working with (felps). We bought the felps shampoo too from them.the sadness part is that in my first shower, my hair got frizzy! I asked the reason from them, they told me, you should have used conditioner beside your shampooing! I hoped not to require more softening products any more or at least in my first washing! Anyway, I did what they told me I used felps shampoo and conditioner but there was nothing to help me. Now, after 10days my hair is going to back so fast! My mother was going to use this product in her salon and wanted to buy from them but not now she has changed her mind! I decided to put a feedback here to share my experience with you and give a feedback to the owner of this salon to check the reason for this occur and hopefully for their next customer have a best result! Regarding to your last review, I am that student you mentioned in your reply, yes you are right many factors may come to effect but it can not be related to my speed and my performance for two reason, the first one is that I am not only a regular trainee, I am a hairdresser with 12 experience and my purpose for getting your certificate was that get to know more about your product and apply it in my salon second one I have worked with different methods and products and I am completely used to work with these technique i know each product has its own procedure and they are not the same but I am not a basic technician with no experience! Definitely, my speed can’t be a good reason (as you told me my speed is too good during training!) for this occur and more importantly you were with us during all steps that you exactly told us what we should do and even you did some part by yourself! Anyway, we hadn’t any bad goal for giving our feedback and just to let you know your training session result and not more! As you mentioned the result is not the same for all clients and maybe we had a bad luck a little:). I wish Best of luck for you.

I booked an appointment for Keratin straightening at Sensavie after reading the great reviews. I got the treatment done on June 1st, so that I could enjoy the results throughout the summer and not have to deal with hours of heat styling in this climate. My experience at the salon was nice; they are professional and friendly.

The reason I am giving two stars is because of the results. During my appointment, I asked about hair care and was told that there wasn't really anything special to do, maybe avoid sulphate shampoos, and if I wash my hair a lot or swim in pools the results will not last as long. I was told not to get my hair wet for 24 hrs and only rinse with water the first time I get it wet.

I went home with the smoothest, silkiest hair, and I was so happy! But within a few days, the magic was gone. Even after my first hair wash (with sulphate-free, salt-free keratin treatment shampoo) my hair was wavier than I expected and I needed to do a blow out to get it straight.

I wash my hair only every 5-7 days, so within 2 weeks I noticed that it was already curling up. TWO WEEKS. The treatment is supposed to last 4-6 months. My hair is nowhere near straight anymore. It's a looser curl, but I now have to resume the usual heat styling routine that takes me over an hour. I couldn't believe it was so short lived. I don't know if it was the product used, or maybe it wasn't left on long enough, or what.

For someone who doesn't get salon treatments often, and I saved up to get Keratin for the summer, it's DEVASTATING that I spent $500 for this treatment.: (

I had lash extensions done here on august 2018 and the tech did a great job! Asides from accidentally gluing my upper lashes to my lower lashes also causing my right eye to turn red and burn a bit, I had a good experience. My lashes lasted more than 3 weeks! I was happy with the results and price. I would recommend this place and will be coming back if ever I had another special event to attend.
