I don't often leave reviews but I had to leave one to thank Safia at the downtown Montreal location for her absolute efficiency. The store was extremely busy and rather than pawning off my request to the cashiers (as other employees did), she resolved my birthday gift request super quickly and efficiently, with her proper knowledge of store policy. Thanks so much, Safia. Service like yours should definitely be rewarded.

Everytime I go to this Sephora I receive horrid service. The few times I ask for help, the employees look super annoyed and it takes forever for someone to come help. Today, an employee asked another employee to help me - she looked at me super annoyed and asked someone else to help instead.

The girl who ended up helping me was friendly but very young and didn’t have much knowledge. She pretty much just agreed with whatever I was saying without actually recommending anything new or provide any advice.

I saw a few employees that actually seemed nice but they were busy.

Do better with your staff.
I’ll just make my purchases online or go to the Sephora at another Sephora from now on!

One great rep, and one who was kind but misrepresented her knowledge-base. Sadly leaves me feeling its only so-so. The cosmetics seem good, but high priced.which I guess is normal for Sephora from what I hear ‍️

I bought a lipstick from the official website that has been in production for over three years and has long since expired. Returns are not accepted online and I was asked to go to the shop to resolve the issue. Very disgusting.

Had a wonderful experience with a sales associate (I think her name was pronounced like Gohard?). She was very helpful, made excellent recommendations for new products based on the perfume and brand that I already wear, and found me scents that I would have never thought to try. I often feel out of place in-store, but this was best service I’ve had at Sephora!

Très beau magasin et service impeccable!

Seul bémol est le volume de la musique: beaucoup trop fort et malgré des commentaires, chaque visite même constat! La musique est beaucoup trop forte rendant l’expérience magasinage moins plaisante. Sinon, le personnel toujours agréable et la propreté irréprochable

Carla in fragrance made my experience very quick and efficient, she knows where to direct you and showed me something out of my comfort zone which I totally was not expecting, and now have been obsessed with the perfume she recommended to me. Strongly suggest you ask for Carla in Perfumes!

Service en magasin sans problème. Il faut parfois attendre pour une conseillère beauté sur les heures de pointes. Mais sinon ça va.
Par contre, pour les livraisons à domicile pour les commandes en ligne. J'avais jamais eut de problème, mais là c'est le pompon. Le livreur tente de passer depuis dimanche à 8: 40am un dimanche ils sont fous! Après aujourd'hui j'étais chez moi, il dit même chose pas capable de rentrer, mais pour ouvrir la porte il faut faire mon code de numéro d'appartement. Il ne l'a jamais fait. Mon cell n'a pas sonné! Vraiment du grand n'importe quoi. Fleetoptics était pourtant la même compagnie de livraison pour les commandes précédentes. Je ne comprends pas pourquoi cette fois-ci c'est si compliqué de pitonner à l'interphone en bas?

Girls there are amazing! So up beat. Always got there makeup on fleek.like a geek! N the store is mad biz with all peeps from all walks of life! Ask for Michelle when u go They got u no matter who it is im sure. Trust me! I was clueless when i walked up in the spot. Didnt feel i was pressured to buy anything either.they made me feel so DAMM comfortable! Polite. English French Spanish n Chinese spoken. So no language worries. So no excuses! Just make sure u got a lot of mulla or you just might fool yaself!

I went to Sephora today looking for a foundation and very scared to ask for some help because I’m a black girl with a very deep skin tone and you girls already know they rarely advise us on the right shade. However, I had the pleasant surprise to be helped by Victor, he was so sweet and eager to help and he really took time to help me and we found the PERFECT shade. I’m so happy RN! I will give 2 stars because the people at the cash and a handful of people who work on the floor are friendly and this location has a vast selection but most of the time if you are not very attractive or dont look like a makeup queen you will be ignored or treated very poorly.

You can find all the brands there, it's just a chaos there! Try to ask for a mini make up each time so that you can make sure you'll get a good service and that the associate is gonna help you for what you're looking for!

Update 2020-03-12: the employees are not helpful and now the store is really dirty. It's dusty everywhere.

I'd definitely rather to purchase from somewhere else.

Je suis arrivé au Sephora pour rejoindre ma blonde qui magasinait du parfum.

Une fois à la caisse la madame nous dit: Ça fera 159,68$.

Moi de répondre: ah oui, SEPHORA 159,68$!? !

Silence.total.

Bref, ma blonde sent très bon la ptite vanille et moi j'repars bredouille tant au niveau olfactif qu'humoristique.

Je recommande néanmoins le magasin car le malaise était pas d'sa faute à lui.

Employees approaching you every five minutes and trying to give you a basket to carry two items? Stop stalking your customers and making them feel like they’re doing something wrong by continuously staring at them. The customers usually know more about makeup than the employees. Extremely uncomfortable shopping experience. Most employees are not even professional trained makeup artists so you could have someone with unblended makeup and boxy eyebrows giving you advice.

Went there with my fiance and we had an excellent service. You have to ask someone or else they might just go past you. The person who helped us was not judgmental, offered various options with various price range. Nobody was pushy and they have good selection of product and good quality.

Love shopping there, but if you go there to seek for help, you might wait for a good while. If you really need help, you will have to insist on it, or else no one will really come.

I would recommend that you do your research beforehand.

I love Sephora stores in general and my go to one is the store located in dix30. If I need something urgent I go to this one as it is located next to my workplace. But boy oh boy, how rude the employees can be here.

J'ai toujours été bien accueilli par l'équipe de ce Sephora, avec des gens qui prennent un peu de temps pour me conseiller et tester les produits. Les conseillers sont souvent maquillé n'importe comment mais bon. Par contre j'ai acheté pour un gros montant je n'ai eu aucun échantillon mais ce que j'ai remarqué c'est que sur le ticket c'était précisé 1 échantillon (qu'on ne m'a pas donné). Est ce que les vendeurs les gardent pour eux? Très malhonnête.

Deplorable customer service!
I was passed along to four different sales persons to make a simple straight forward purchase.
One girl got fancy and was applying product to half my face. When she got bored she passed me along to the next girl. No one made any effort to clean my face. I was wiping my face with my own tissue as I was leaving the store. I never got to talk to any one of the four girls about the rest of the product I wanted to purchase. Since no one was interested in selling me what I wanted, I just left. They didn’t care about that either!

This lady at the cash Jessie has a horrible attitude towards us when we try to return my online purchase. I paid with paypal so I don’t really remember which credit card was linked to it and she insisted on finding out which credit card I used and gave me terrible attitude. I ask her for just one minute but she refuse expressly. In a stressful moment I gave her my most frequent used card thinking that might be it. She told me it was not my card because she saw my husband gave it to me when he helped me search. I don’t know why somebody could be so unreasonably mean. Why Jessie why are you so upset? What have we ever done to you? Honestly if you want to return online purchase at sephora, avoid Jessie she can be so mean she’ll make you cry. And if you pay with Paypal then remember which card don’t be like stupid me.

The Benefit Brow Bar is a real disappointment.
I got a good job done in the past, but this time quality of the service was lot less.
She actually shape my brown in a half circle (no angles), did not do any lines to show me how much she would take out. Uncovered a scar that I took a long time to hide. I brush my brows upwards to place them, but she brush them downwards. It was awful. It takes time to grow brows after a bad job. BEWARE!

Mall was under lots of construction so it was not a pleasant way to get there. Staff weren’t friendly and too busy to answer any of my questions. Sephora is not the way it used to be. I wanted to try few moisturizing products but it was difficult for me to ask and explore.

Magasin minable, service minable. Je suis sentie fliquer pendant toute ma visite parceque j'avais un sac à dos et que je suis noire. Au début je me suis dis c'est pas possible, je ne suis quand même pas parano lorsque j'ai vu passer les mêmes personnes devant moi faisant semblant de vérifier les parfums. Il y en a même une qui s'est positionnée juste à coté de moi. Vraiment lamentable cela devrait être interdit ce genre d'agissements. J'adore les parfums, j'en ai une vingtaine chez moi et désormais j'irai les acheter ailleurs comme chez Labaie. Eux font au moins semblant de s'intéresser à vous

Bonjour, j'étais à la recherche d'un parfum qui me tenait à cœur puis mon conjoint et moi avons fait tous les étages du Centre Eaton pour finalement trouver la boutique. En entrant, ne sachant pas quelle direction prendre, je me suis dirigée vers la gauche pour tomber sur un éventail de parfum dont sur celui que je cherchais. J'ai fait la file pour payer un prix auquel je ne m'attendais pas soit 166,71$ pour 50 ml. Un peu exagéré à mon avis. Toutefois malgré l'attente, j'ai reçu un bon service.

I love shopping at Sephora. This location can be pretty crowded but so is everywhere else at the christmas time. I found the staff very helpful. Jules is amazing, he took his time answering my questions and was very helpful and kind.

Très mauvaise expérience avec un retour même pas ouvert. La caissière me dit avec un aire bête que je doit payer pour un nouveau produit si je le veux, même si c’était un échange acheter le même jour qui n’avait pas était ouvert encore. Bref on ne me l’a pas échangé je suis aller à un autre sephora ou très gentiment on me l’a échangé et même très bien conseillé.

Had the worst customer service ever. I lost a pair of earrings when I was shopping in Sephora. 30 mins later when I got home I called them to check if my earrings were still there. I have called about 7 times for the staff to pick up and she didn’t even check the beauty studio desk when I politely asked her to. The staff even hung up on me before I could say thank you and that really shocked me. I am so disgusted by that action. I would give them no stars if I could.

I got the feeling that some specialists are kind of rude/fake and indifferent, not everyone tho! It happened to me with two guys and one girl in different occasions. Other girls are really nice and really help you choose the best for you.

Customer service at Sephora Eaton Center has always been a great experience for me! Love their products, love the vibe, although it can get really busy sometimes! My fave cosmetics/skin care store!
