The best place U can find in montreal to have a brunch. Just there is always a line up in the weekend.

This place IMO is A1. Def gotta try the grilled cheese with tomato soup. Only thing that caught my eye is that the cooks aren’t wearing gloves. Would be a great look if they wear gloves hence the fact that they’re exposed to the public.

Honestly if it wasn’t for the wait, this place deserves a 5 stars with no doubt! I think they can improve the wait time but seem they are not doing anything about it.

Wait is insane for brunch but soooo worth it. Chicken sandwich and pancakes are a must try.

The best avocado toast I’ve ever had! The combination of the spices used in the dish was so tasty and made the old avocado toast something new and special!
The halloumi toast is amazing, too. I liked the loaded veggies on top.
This is my absolute favourite place for coffee. Just the place is so crowded during the weekend and you have to wait a bit (which is worth it!).

Nice brunch place with delicious fries and nice atmosphere. A bitbtoo packed on Sunday's. I would recommend other days.

Busy place. Some ppl are studying or working. (but I wouldn’t choose here because there are too much ppl)

September Surf Café
Situé à un jet de pierre du Marché Atwater, on se rend au September Surf Café pour ses bons petits plats (on pense entre autres aux pancakes ou au toast à l’avocat) ainsi que pour son café. Bien installé à une table ou le long des fenêtres, on a tout l’espace voulu pour travailler et regarder les passants dans la rue. Pour une ambiance de travail optimale, il est préférable d’y passer en semaine puisque l’endroit devient vite achalandé et animé les week-ends lorsqu’on y sert le brunch.

September Cafe is THAT CAFE! The absolute best in Montreal in terms of ambiance, coffee, brunch options, service, and space. Love the vibes here! The fact that there is always a queue before opening time says it all!

Expect a line-up but moves pretty fast. The place is always packed, but we usually find seats, especially during the summer.

I always return to the halloumi toast. Chia bowl is a tasty surprise. Pancakes are good too. Breakfast sandwich is alright.

Coffee is always very well executed.

I used to come regularly but this last time they gave me attitude after I ordered an egg for my kid that took 30 minutes to arrive.

When I got the egg I realized it was cold, as if was boiled in advance and taken out of the fridge.

I don't think I will come back, that was uncomfortable.

Super café! La déco est super sympa, les serveuses au top et la nourriture délicieuse. Le toast à l’halloumi et les pancakes sont excellents, pareil pour le club sandwich. Et c’est super sympa de prendre le petit déj sur la terrasse au soleil!

Decent food, just not sure if it was really worth the long lineup. The avocado toast was done very well. The panckes were tasty but could have used some more syrup. Personally I was not a fan of the coffee here, I had the cold brew and I didn't enjoy it.

Great cafe! We had a matcha latte, cortado, chia bowl and breakfast sandwich and were all so good. The line was very long the morning we went, but went very quickly. Lots of seating outside on the street if inside is crowded.

Ambiance excellente! Café Terrasse en bain du soleil le matin et terrasse en cour arriere tranquille et intime. Americano plutôt ordinaire (j'avais peut-être des attentes trop élevées). Sandwich deluxe frais et délicieux. Il y a pourtant un long fil d'attente. Prix vraiment abordables par rapport à l'emplacement dans un quartier branché. Staffs sympathiques.

Cute cafe. Everything coming out of the kitchen looked amazing. They have one of those industrial juice machines too to make fresh squeezed oj I got the breakfast sandwich and a cortado to go (want to go back for that avocado toast … wow that was piled high and delicious). Really enjoyed the bfast sandwich tho! Nice brioche bun, good ratio with the ingredients, very tasty. Cortado was also great!
