Sham Restaurant - Shawarma & BBQ Grill

Not bad for the shawarma we took, we went late at night around 10pm, we were 2 we took 2 sandwiches and some sodas, the vibe was good almost like s club night vibe with oriental mustique (Lebanese music), the service was okay.

This was the best Shawarma I had in Ottawa/Gatineau region. Had the chicken Shawarma. It was very authentic and delicious! If you are going to the Museum of History, this is a must lunch spot!

Qualité des plats correcte. Trop de viande et pas assez de légumes dans mon shawarma à mon goût, malgré ma demande de mettre plus de légumes.
Le service est correct sans plus.

Maybe it was the time we went (Saturday evening) but food wasn't the freshest and meats were a bit dry/overcooked. That said, flavors were fine, portions were decent, and service accommodating.

Keep in mind that although there is a dining area, this is not really a sit down restaurant as some of the pictures may imply - it's counter service with some seating available.

The kitchen is super the service is good. But the ambiance was not very cool it was a little bit strange so in think it need more decoration and more beautiful.

Ordered chicken shawarma and hummus along with falafel and tabouleh. The shawarma was basic and the hummus had a rotten scent! Had to throw it away. The falafel and tabouleh were good though.sadly won't be eating here again despite the positive reviews.

Had a delightful chat with the owners. Loved their recommendations. Glad we ordered enough for leftovers.

Awesome food! My mum is not use to Middle Eastern food and she loved it. Great lunch after the museum of history

The food was so good! Definitely recommend the combo plate to try both meats. Would 100% eat here again.

Exceptional Syrian food near the Canadian Museum of History. We had delicious chicken shwarma all dressed. Food came quick. I had mango drink that had mango bits in it. A satisfying lunch. I only wish was the place used paper instead of thick foil.

The food was decent enough, though nothing special. To be honest, the place was a bit dingy and the service was just not there. I had to wait way too long for service given I was the only customer there at the time. The staff were just sitting around smoking kush and watching TV. If you want shwarma, you could do better elsewhere.

Got take away and had a very good experience. Very nice service, tasty food, generous portions (especially sauce which was a nice surprise), and reasonable price. Je valide

Je m'attendais à beaucoup mieux considérant les reviews sur Google. Les assiettes sont généreuses, mais la qualité n'y était pas.

Les cornichons et les navets n'étaient pas mangeable et les pains pitas sentaient comme la cigarette. Le service était très long, on a attendu presque 15min pour une assiette de poulet alors qu'on était les seuls clients à servir.

Great experience! Very delicious and very authentic syrian food.shadi is an amazing chef/owner. He made us feel welcomed on a short notice without reservation:) prices are not too crazy (especially if you go in a group) for the fresh food you get.

Checked out this place a couple of weeks ago for a midweek lunch due to the high ratings on Google. First impression upon entering the place was that it was a bit dark, fluorescent lighting, dated, not super inviting atmosphere. I ordered the chicken shawarma platter and it was a hefty amount of food. When I got back to the office in minutes, the chicken was dry. The rest was good. I really don’t like paying for restaurant food that ends up disappointing and that was one instance in which it was disappointing.

Best shawarma in Gatineau/Ottawa! Good service and very large portions. Would definitely recommend
