This is by far my favourite Indian restaurant! The lamb biryani, butter chicken, korma, green chicken, the sauces you name it it’s all good!

Visiting from vancouver knows about indian food alot and TRUST ME these guys are doing FANTASTIC Job ……keep it up and must try lamb rogan josh and if veg palak paneer is must ……

Saltyyyyyyy food, poor service, no salad and green sauce. Food arrived too late and was just thrown on the table not served. Asked for basic napkins and water. Staff was completely ignoring when called for water or anything.

I am very disappointed with the food and the services.ordered the food, received half the items, no regard to the notes you leave about how you want your food, never ordering there again.

This place has by far the best indian food in Montreal. The flavours, spices, taste, variety and quantity is amazing. We always received great service.

Today i take out food from this restaurant for my friend but I totally disappointed from food which i order. Firstly, girl said me that total amount was $90 while i pick my food the men ask about $127. Last but not least, whole food quality and quantity were worst and disgusting.
I never recommended this restaurant to my near one to eat anything.

We went on a Thursday evening. Even so it was pretty busy. The staff were very friendly staff, the service quick and the food very nice. A little spicy possibly for some palates. Not licensed so BYO. Supermarket opposite is very handy. Would definitely return.

Had the worst butter chicken ever. For a place supposedly specializing in north indian food, this butter chicken was a disgrace. The consistency, flavor, meat prep was all just wrong. That chicken died for nothing.

Butter chicken was horrible and based on other reviews this dish is a let down to all, zero flavour, malai kebab ordered was very dry. Never coming back to this location, bad experience.

Great Food and Outside Seating was great. Owner is very humble. We chatted for a while! Also Co Owner Vicky helped us with some good recommendations to explore the city. Girl at the outside stall gave some good recommendations to explore cocktail places (Sorry I forgot your name) Thanks for great time. Hope to visit back soon!

Undoubtedly the best place to have an authentic Indian buffet. The service is outstanding. The food was purfect! The serving team was so fab

We were on St Laurent boulevard and decided on Indian food, thanks to the available parking spot, the delicious aromas from Restaurant Sing called me to come in. The team is very warm and welcoming. So far this is the best mango Lassi in town. The food was so delicious that I was full but couldn't stop trying to find space to stuff in. The food was delicious and felt good from the inside. I highly recommend visiting Restaurant Sing. The owner even took time to see how we were doing.

Excellent experience! Singh's is definitely top-notch food and good vibes every time I visit. I want to also give a special shout out to Preet who served us! Aap best ho, Preet! <3

Horrible food, not very authentic, awful service, very cramped restaurant and very weirdly designed bathroom. I'm Indian Punjabi I went here with family for my sister's birthday. Food wasn't good, butter chicken was so sweet and bland it honestly deserves a reward for messing up so bad. Lots and lots of oil, drinks were expired, place was so cramped I felt like my head was spinning. Do not recommend, if any non Indian wants a real Indian food experience go to the GTA

On y va pour le goût et la gentillesse du personnel.
La nourriture est juste trop délicieuse et que dire du prix qui est vraiment plus que raisonnable pour un apportez votre vin, ça efface les petits détails moyens quoi!

Simply Incredible and Authentic Indian Food Taste in Montreal. I highly recommend this restaurant. This is one of the finest Indian restaurants. The quality, quantity and taste is so good. Please don’t go to Darbar it is the worst Indian Food that I ever had. You will be rewarded for the price you pay in Singh’s restaurant.

Just returned from a family dinner at Restaurant Singh's for my father's birthday. Mr. Singh is a very respectful and gracious host. Our server, Karishma, was quite lovely, and provided a great service. The food was very good, and overall we really enjoyed our time here. We hope to return soon.:)

Always a great meal at Singh’s. In our most recent visit we got the tandoori panner, lamb vindaloo and aloo gobi and it was just phenomenal. I normally go for mattar panner but I think I just found my new favourite paneer dish.
Don’t forget it’s a BYOB place. Cheers

Honestly.this place is amazing! From the beautiful art on the walls to the great friendly service and the food was amazing! I will definitely be back my friends and i had a great meal here and we will definitely be back. PLUS its Bring your Own wine! YUMMM 10/10

It was lovely, everything was amazing. Good blend of species and rapid service. Staff was very friendly (mayur and preet and manpreet g). Overall great experience, must try.

Very tasty food and good service. Ordered Lamb roganjosh and Punjabi Dal tadka with Naan and everything was so delicious.

We don't like it we where 3 we took 3 different meals, no one was good enough to finished.

Decent food but way too oily & sweet. I removed over 30ml of just oil from top. And didn’t feel like eating after taking a few bites.

Service was quick but food was horrible. The butter chicken tasted like thick water, the chicken for all dishes were over cooked. The naan was too floury. And the byaniri was only basmadi rice with tomatoes

Naan and Kulcha were fresh baked, and were served with decent curry choices (taste was also good). No scope for any complaints.

Too crunched and crowded. Tables arranged so close to each other that you get a feeling of dining with strangers as you can hear everything that they say and vice versa. That part made me very nervous because Covid. Food wasn't great at all. It is disappointing to see Indian food not being prepared the way it is supposed to be and just being sold under the name of anything. Staff, you know what pulao looks like, you know what biryani tastes like, all the more you know what butter chicken should taste like.please atleast make an attempt to cook it right. Do not just serve yellow rice in the name of pulao and sweet curd in the name of butter chicken.

Est-ce pour cette raison (même si cela n'est aucunement une excuse) que l'exigence du passeport sanitaire n'a pas été respectée?
Nous étions 6 personnes, et seulement les 2 premières personnes arrivées ont dû montrer leur code PCR, et ce une fois assises seulement.
Durant le de reste de la soirée, on a pas eu l'impression que les nouveaux clients étaient interpellés en lien avec le passeport sanitaire.

Worse service ever.too expensive, ordered twice and i got no utensils (disposable spoon or forks) NOT HAPPY

C’était notre première commande et ce sera la dernière: portion de riz basmati minuscule et organge (pas n’attire), shahi paneer ultra sucré et ordinaire (comme une sauce achetée dans le commerce), pains naans gras et la moitié était brûlée, finalement le spécial singh était une véritable blague HORS DE PRIX! 19$ pour un morceau de poulet, quelques saucisses processed et quelques feuilles de laitue)
Total de la commande: 44$!
S’il vous plaît pour ce prix là, faites-vous plaisir ailleurs!

Place is busy. We got a table quickly. We ordered Chicken Tikka Masala. But they give u butter Chicken. (I am Indian and know to tell them apart) other then that place is good and food is tasty and food portion is also good.

It was my favorite restaurant before COVID, but went again today and was very disappointed. The worker are very nice as always, nothing to say there. They are friendly, funny, helpful and know how to deal with awkward situation (there was a small problem with an old lady when we were there and they handle it perfectly). But the food seems to have lost a bit of it's richness. The Biryani rice that we order before had a lot of full spice (cinnamon, cadamome, clove, anis etc) but this time we only found one clove and the colour seem very artificial. Also the veggies where more like a mix of frozen vegetables (Macédoine with corn), before there was big piece of fresh veggies. Smae with the veggies korma. The portions seem a little bit smaller, but that is not really a problem if the taste was like before. The eggplant was really delicious and tmall the bread that we order where warm and soft and very good. I think COVID may have been rough, the price and shortness of some ingredients, stress of closing-opening-closing, the possible change of staff and shortness of staff du to PCU etc. I really hope that it's just an adjustment and that they will be able to come back as strong as they were before because it really was a great place!

I visited the restaurant with my family after a long road trip from Toronto with multiple stops before reaching Montreal. We were all starving and really wanted good food. We ordered Veg Thali and Butter Chicken Thali along with sizzling Platter. All the food was hot, fresh and tasty. The service was very courteous and friendly. We were really happy and will surely visit when we are in Montreal next time.

The owner lied about serving the halal meat. When asked about if they serve halal meat or not, the waitress said no at first, but the owner told the waitress to say yes to us. Finally, we asked for halal certificate and they didn't have it. Which means they don't care about other's beliefs and want to sell the food anyways and they don't hesitate to make you a fool. Please be careful if you prefer halal meat.

Just ordered food from these guys at 5.30 pm and we got our food delivered at 7pm. Here is what we have for thali $12.99 + $5 (delivery) without even Naan bread.till the time they delivered our Naan whole food was stale. Wasn't fresh and didn't even like the way they provide service. Do not consider these guys.instead go somewhere else.it was waste of money and time.worst restaurants service of my life

We have been ordering regularly from Singh's during the pandemic. The food is always delicious! The meats are always tender, the portions are generous and the sauces are full of flavour! Can definitely recommend.

I really liked the place & staff. Food was also delicious️. I ordered chana samosa & paneer pakoda. Although just a little suggestion from my husband & I, just break samosa a little bit so it's easy for the person to have it. We had to eat in the car & literally we were struggling with that

Depuis ma première visite en été, ce restaurant est devenu l’un de mes meilleurs resto, très bon service, toujours si bien accueillis, avec un sourire qui se voit à travers le masque, bonne qualité des plats préparé, bien garnis, épicés, j’approuve le tout!

Disappointed after ordering food direct from this restaurant (My order is a bag of food include a big bowl of chicken they provide 90% water +oil and two small pieces of chicken and then 4 gulab jamun and samosa + small bowl of rice and when i asked them there is no spoon or napkin inside the bag, the person told us we don't give it and they charged around $50/-

The bhindi masala is absolutely delicious. Most bhindi masalas in Mtl are very tomato-y. This restaurant allows the bhindi (okras) and caramelized onions to shine without drowning them in tomato sauce. One of the best in Mtl, if not the best!:)

Very disappointing seriously. The person who attend the phone just buttering the customer. No spoon no tissues with order and when ask they say we don’t guve that, how we gonna eat then? DISSAPPOINTING!

Singh’s Indian Cuisine! J’entends toujours parler du poulet au beurre, mais avez-vous déjà goûté leur agneau? Et leur pain naan ️️? ! Le mélange du riz et de l’agneau avec ce pain tendre et chaude dans ma bouche. La découverte des saveurs indiennes pour la PREMIÈRE FOIS DE MA VIEEE (I know, j’suis late!) C’est vraiment bon leur nourriture pis en plus leurs vaisselles sont trop « classe »! Bravo! Aussi, pour être honnête avec vous, ça dérangé mon ventre (vu que c’était mon initiation et que j’y suis allée un peu fort en goûtant l’agneau et le poulet au beurre dans un même laps de temps), mais c’pas grave ‍️? ‍️! Portions for the price are very small compared to other restaurants. Chicken Vindaloo had 3 small pieces of chicken the rest was potato in an overly oiled sauce. Food was below average. Skip this place.

Great service, clean and comfortable place, yet, it is pricy and the soup was very spicy (as latin, not mexican, can't stand spicy)

Best Indian food on the Main! I've dined here many times and it's always my go to for amazing Indian food and service! You can't go wrong with any of the dishes, between the vindaloo, butter chicken, tikka masala, Biryani and Nann bread you won't leave hungry! Also, the mango chutney is delicious!

This place is AMAZING! Food is great, the flavours are awesome, the portions are very generous and the staff is super friendly. I work in the restaurant industry too and am super pleased to see smiling staff even when we order 10 min before the closing time (thanks and sorry for that guys:) )

Went mid-day on a friday so not so busy.

The decor is very nice and the ambiance is quite relaxing.

We had the fish pakora, lamb vindaloo and a "singh grill mix".

The fish pakora were very nice and tasty, not oily at all and with a spiced breading.

The lamb vindaloo wasnt too spicy, was very flavorful and very well cooked. No fat on the lamb and a very heavy bowl of mostly meat.

The meat platter was served on a bed of veggies in a still burning hot cast iron dish. Everything was really nice. Juicy and tasty chicken and great texture on the sausage.

The naan bread was light and fluffy and very enjoyable. Not overcooked or dry at all.

I'll definitely be going back for more.

I've been twice and haven't been disappointed. Service was a little slow very happy overall. Would definitely return for more

Delicious food and friendly staff!
We were a group of 14 on Friday night, we had some special fixed menu which we were not sure of but it was great. A lot of food and we could order more, Butter chicken is the best and naans are heavenly.
Service was on point the waitresses kept checking water and asked if we need more food we asked for spinach and cheese which was not in the special menu but she didn’t hesitate even once to get it for us. At the end we were served desserts, we went home so stuffed. A 5 star for me. I would recommend it to everyone who loves Indian food!

It’s the best Indian restaurant in town where you are always welcomed with a smile. The food is delicious and service is great. Chicken tikka masala garlic naan is super good.

Not bad thali and butter chicken but I've had a lot better. The thing that really annoys me though is the wait you have to endure sometimes. Plus even when you're seated the waiters seem to take there sweet time coming to you.

Singh's has a long menu with an array of Indian dishes. The curries and appetizers are pretty good. However, their breads (Naan, garlic naan, kulcha etc) seem to be re-heated grocery store Indian breads. I would rate the food a 3.5 on 5.

Keeping the food aspect aside, the staff is arrogant. While placing the order, we were told to order everything at once even though the restaurant wasn't full and it was 8PM. To add to that, the owner sent us the bill/invoice at our table without us asking for it (a passive sign that he wanted us to leave). We wanted the bill split 5 ways and we also had a discount coupon with us, which he refused to accept at first and after much haggling, he finally relented. This ruined our experience and thus the low rating.

Staff wasn’t attentive. I would’ve given it 3 stars maybe even four if the service was great. But it wasn’t. It ruined out experience. Biryani is also dry.

The food here is delicious! If you can get a staff members attention. We went as a large 10+ group for the all you can eat, and 5 of us were crammed in a corner and had one small bowl of rice & 3 small stew bowls and waited about 30 minutes for anyone to see us for more. I had to lean over to another table and ask the waitress while she served them. We had been reduced to trading water resources with our other tablemates to get some food. When our group of 5 finally were served "seconds" we were told "you know you can't bring it home right? " I know ma'am, we basically haven't eaten yet! How rude. The whole dinner took over 2 hours because of slow wait staff. And they didn't bring out enough desserts for everyone, so the last person was left eating alone after waiting an extra 7 mins for dessert.

Me and my boyfriend were looking for a nice Vegetarian restaurant and we didn't fail a bit! Yay! This place is what I imagine.the design was superb, the pictures in their wall makes me experienced that I am in India (particularly in Punjab area).

The food was good and delish!

My only " side comment " was the guy that greeted us sounded bossy to me, it could have been a little courteous and friendly - especially that we're from Toronto and it's our first time in Montreal to somehow explore the city on holidays (lots of snow: D)

Quality of the food is really bad, literally the oil stinks on the curries, I will not recommend to anyone who wants to have good Punjabi food

We went there with a group of 5 on Christmas, it was all packed at 8: 30. But still they managed to take us it’s just the waiting for the table which takes a bit of a time as it’s very busy usually, but once we got the table the waitress took our order pretty quick, she was very helpful and asked about our preferences, explained all the dishes perfectly. It took around 30-35 mins to get served but we were informed by the girl who took our order that it might take a little longer than usual to serve as it was very busy, she even got some papad and drinks for us while we were waiting for the meal, the food was outstanding authentic punjabi, with perfect blend of spices. I totally recommend it and the prices are reasonable as well. Food is good and the service is even better, so friendly and home like feel. Definitely will go back.

Came from New York to spend New Years in Montreal.

Indian food was 10/10, perfect portions and excellent spice.

Would recommend to a friend and would come back again.

The all female staff was totally overwhelmed and were making mistakes on the order. We ordered chilli paneer and vegetable jalfrezi, but the girl only wrote down the vegetable jalfrezi, which was totally bland and had no salt in it and we never got the paneer dish. They also nearly forgot our mango lassi had I not reminded that I had ordered it. Very poor service and lack of attention to detail. It was quite upsetting. We went to this place because the reviews were good, but the quality of service & food did not meet the standards of the reviews and plus this place is quite small so when it’s this busy, it’s really claustrophobic and very noisy. I doubt if I’ll ever go to this place again whenever I visit Montreal.

They brought us a wrong dish and instead of apologizing and trying to fix it, the waitress was forcing us to accept it. The portion of thali was very small. However, the lamb biryani came in a big portion and tasted good.

We, a group of 4 went here for dinner. It was full & we thought it will do justice to the raving reviews. IT DID NOT:
1. No one paid attention that we were new customers & need a table
2. After trying to grab their attention a LOT of times, we were told to place an order even though still table was not assigned
3. We placed the order anyway & told one of THEIR STAFF that we can see one table available. Then they realised it & gave it to us
4. The food took over an hour to come
5. Ultimately, it was not worth the wait.
So to sum it up, there is not a single factor because of which I'll recommend this restaurant. Average ambience, mediocre food & bad customer service!
