Ski Mont Rigaud

Learned how to ski in one day, I booked a private lesson and million thanks to my trainer Tayler (a teenage guy) he was very patient with me and had really good ways of teaching! 100% would recommend!

Malheureusement, plusieurs pistes n'étaient pas souffler. Il y avait tellement de feuilles que c'était impossible de voir la trail et très dangereux de s'y aventurer.

Considérant le coût d'entrée, il n'est pas acceptable que l'entretien ne soit pas fait, surtout considérant les risques de chutes avec les feuilles mortes au sol.

L'expérience client est excellente, et les pistes sont traité avec grand soin. Bien que les pistes ne sont pas un grand défis pour les skieurs les plus expérimenté, pour une expérience familiale ou d'apprentissage, c'est la montagne idéal!

I like this please but their no refund policy needs a little bit of work - even if they would issue credit it would work, but it’s a book it and if the sky is falling with thunder and Lighting and rain - it’s use it or loose it. But overall it’s good, nice staff and good service and nice facilities.

Small but everything of what's you need. Charming and friendly. I spent a full day with my 14 years old daughter she loves the snowpark not a single complaint great rental gear

Personally find that the cost of this mountain is a lot more affordable than most other skii locations.

88$ total for 4 hours and full skii equipment rental.

The mountain itself isnt too busy, and not too big so its great if you aren’t that advanced. They also have a beaver tale truck which is a bonus.

Been twice, and will continue. It’s worth the hour drive from Montreal

How can a place be not good where you learnt how to skii?

This place was a little gem for skii lovers. Good value, nice atmosphere and well maintained skii resort for evveryone.
I found people from all age groups who were there having great time with families, kids and by themselves, and were encouraging for those who were beginners like me. Although, there were only 2 tracks open with 1 chair lift and 1 magic carpet (for beginners) but staff was well accomodating.
Enough parking space, variety of food (I ate fries and a cheese sandwich with tasty herbal tea) and lots of changing rooms/lockers.
The only thing I remember was bad in my experience was this idiot person at the dining area admission- who did not accept my proof of Covid vaccination because it didn't look same as Quebec's one. After calling the receptionist from main office, that got resolved anyway.

A friendly, neighbourhood ski-station if ever there was one. The slopes are well maintained, the lodge has a reasonable cafeteria and the boutique, while small, has a good selection for kids and often great prices (surprisingly). There are multiple programs for kids to learn snowboarding and skiing with friendly, chill instructors. In the summer there are mountain bike courses for the same starting as early as 5-6 years old (including transition from training wheels!).

Pandemic related restrictions have led to capacity restrictions so it’s very difficult to get a weekend ski pass at the moment but that should ease up in the next few months.

All in all, recommended especially for families.

Great ski school. The service at the hill is awesome all thing considering during the pandemic. Just wish their prices were a bit more in line with their size of hill.

Smaller hill.blacks are more like blues. Efficient lift. Nice slower paced ski day. MTB here is a blast but no bike lift

Great place to have your child start skiing! They offer courses for all ages with an environment that makes anyone feel very comfortable! Highly recommend this Hill!

Such an incredible place to learn to ski! The staff are super lovely and understanding! Would 100% recommend for anyone who wants a fun day out with the kids. The mountain biking has become much more diverse over the last few years to accommodate riders of all skill levels and the mechanics will get you riding again for a decent price!

It s a small mountain, more like a hill. Great for beginners and kids, 1 chairlift hence it s impossible to lose a kid. The snowpark is impressive compared to the mountain size.

Loved it! Wish I had more time to get comfortable with the area.

Next time I'll have more shots and videos for y'all.

Terrible customer service. I lost an entire hour on the hill, visiting from out of town to see niece and nephew. Would not accept my QR code. Rude, refused me a manager. Shameful.

Great for beginners and children. Not much to challenge anyone who can already ski but easily accessible for some quick practice runs

Belle petite montagne familiale. Excellent pour débuter en ski/snow. Les pistes étaient superbe lors de mon passage!

Excellente qualité de cours pour les enfants. Personnel très accueillant! Vraiment agréable de passer du temps à Mont Rigaud.

Belle colline pour skier une demie journée voire 2h. On a vite fait le tour. Très cher pour ce que c'est.

I was pleasantly surprised how fun this hill was. Although I did buy a passe-partout this season, so I get a discount on the tickets, making it feel not too expensive. Also, I'm coming from Pointe Claire, so about 30 min to get there was a plus. It has a little bit of everything (moguls, mini rollers, snow park, etc.) and the snow conditions were great. It only has one chair lift, which in this case made it fun to be able to ski separately, but still together with different levels of skiers, since we would eventually cross paths at the chair lift. The carpet leading to get on the chairlift is quite useful to make sure young kids don't get left behind. I met up with my nieces (5 and 8) who just learnt to ski this year and they were able to ski with confidence on all types of terrain. Their black diamond trails are a bit narrower than the others obviously, making it a fun almost "snowboard cross" type trail with slanted curves and a few drops and side bumps. Would recommend for a relaxed, fun day outdoors. Also, had no trouble getting my ticket from the staff. I gave it 4 stars, because I liked it, but at regular price and if I didn't live so close by, I don't think I would consider it worth it for me. But because I went with smaller, more beginner kids, it was a blast!

Station familiale charmante. Par contre, il y a très peu de pistes et elles sont des pentes douces. La station de ski est idéale pour s'initier au ski et suivre des cours de débutants.

This park is super clean. The staff is friendly, and the trails / slopes are well maintaine Amazing to visit in the fall with the vibrant colors. There is an admission fee to pay off about $15.

C'était une première pour moi, ce n'est pas mon Mont préféré mais une belle place pour avoir du plaisir et les gens sont gentils!

Petit mont facilement accessible. Randonnée de raquette gratuite. Les chemins de raquette sont cependant plutôt mal indiqués. Ça vaut le coup de se rendre jusqu’en haut car très beau,

Amazing, if you have nothing to do one weekend, I'm not what your doing cause rigaud is open! Strict mask regulations for safety, small lines, not busy, a little small but that makes it cozy. Definitely recommend!

Favorite spot for all skill levels! Conveniently located for anyone living in or around the West Island.

I go for a quick snowshoe and some solid cardio. They have a fun network of dedicated trails to the summit. Consider parking in town and climbing from the other side. Fun afternoon activity. Skiing is great with young children that are beginners. Play outside and win!

Mount rigaud will not see my money. Period. Expensive for given a minimum of service amd i am not talking about covid precautions, jere they are excellent.
Reminder ot os the same distance to het to sommets in laurentians for better vip access regarding time and money.

Service à la clientèle minable! Ils ont un problème avec leurs site web sur billet en ligne! Personne pour nous aider sauf pour dire je ne sais pas quoi vous dire, je ne peux rien faire et entre temps plus de billet de dispo alors débrouillez vous avec vos enfants!

This mountain is great for beginners because it's not giant and not small. There's ski or snowboarding school there. I learn there how too ski and the staffs explains quite good what to do. If your a beginner I suggest you to go too Mont Rigaud to get better at your skills.

Overpriced for what it is. The staff is horrible, they don't car about you, they're probably miserable inside. If I could rate 0 stars I would.
For 10$ more you can go to st sauveur and actuality have fun.

Great little mountain to learn to ski or snowboard. For the size of the hill they have a great terrain park and the staff is quite friendly and helpful. You cant beat the price on lift tickets.

Belle petite station qui est probablement victime de son succès. Les pistes sont parfaites pour les débutants. Cependant attendre 30 minutes pour pouvoir remonter sur la seule chaise de la station c'est un peu trop long. De plus la cafétéria est bondée donc très difficile de trouver une place pour manger.

Mon fils suit des cours privés de ski alpin pour la 2e année. Un des cours à été annulé et donc reporté et tombe en même temps qu'une activité importante. Son professeur nous dit qu'il se fera un grand plaisir de remettre son cours, mais nous nous buttons à une direction totalement inflexible qui suit la politique de Rigaud à la lettre. Aucune flexibilité, aucun sourire, aucun signe d'être désolé. St-Bruno se fera un plaisir d'accueillir mon fils:)

Great place for young children and beginners. Close enough to the West Island to go for a lesson and home again within 3 hours.

Ouvert depuis des décennies, cette petite station de ski dans Vaudreuil-Soulanges possédant 15 pistes est parfaite pour les débutants ou les skieurs intermédiaires. Il y a justement la possibilité de prendre des cours sur place pour les débutants. Ils ont une seule remontée mécanique quadruple et deux tapis roulants pour les 2 pistes de débutants. Pour ma copine & moi, pour un bloc de 4h avec équipement de ski inclus, ça m'a coûté un total avec taxes de 142$. Le tarif adulte pour une journée complète est de 45$. Vous avez une cafétéria/bar dans le chalet à l'intérieur pour l'après-ski. Ayant grandi dans la région, j'y suis allé quelques fois par le passé, que ce soit en famille ou en couple, comme on dit, ça ''fait la job'' durant une belle journée d'hiver. Seul bémol, un peu d'attente pour la remonté quadruple.

Très bien pour les débutants. Belle endroit pour apporter la famille. Le stationnement pourrait être mieux mais vraiment un détail comparer au reste du site. Prix raisonnables. Par contre le 4$ pour la carte est de trop surtout si vs venez l'extérieur et aller visiter les lieux juste une fois.

Superbe endroit.le seul dans l'ouest. Le seul inconvénient est qu'il y a seulement un chairlift. Durant les périodes rush, il y a plus d'attente que de ski.hélas. L'ère de l'électronique avec passes à puces a alourdi le flow malheureusement. Il y avait, il y a plusieurs années, des pommeaulifts qui allégaient le chairlift. Avec deux petits tapis à chaque extrémité, cela n'aide pas à diminuer l'attente. Les tapis sont pour un mini snow park et débutants (à droite complètement lorsque l'on regarde la piste du bas vers le haut). Quand même bien!

C'est un joli petit mont pour les jeunes et les plus vieux débutant le ski. L'hiver le Mont Rigaud nous proposes du ski et l'été, du vélo de montagne. Ce mont comprend des cours de ski pour ceux qui le veulent l'hiver et des cours de vélo de montagne pour l'été. Le défaut que je donnerais à ce Mont est la hauteur. Ce n'est pas le mont le plus haut et ayant le plus de choix de piste car il est très petit, mais c'est ce qui fait qu'il est un mont parfait pour les débutants.

Not happy with some of the kids coaches, not very responsible I guess kids are only head counts for them. Make sure you pay again next year.

Très petite montagne mais avec plusieurs pistes. Pistes expert plutôt facile ou intermédiaires pour des montagnes dans le nord. Considérant que la montagne est située en banlieue de Montréal nous avons passé une très belle journée.

A beautiful little ski station which offers everything you could want for a fun day of family skiing or sliding. One of the best run ski centres I've visited.

Nice family ski hill. It has a day care on site. Restaurant, equipment rental, good moving lifts. The parking is not great. It can be muddy but it is big enough. Go, enjoy.

Très agréable, près de Montréal, j'ai eu une superbe expérience. Toutefois, les pistes ne sont pas très difficiles pour des skieurs avancés; les pistes bleues semblent être des vertes et les pistes noires des bleues. C'est un endroit parfait pour apprendre par contre!

What a nice ski area! Not difficult so that the beginners can enjoy a lot! The staff are very much. My wife and I fall down after taking the cable car 1st at the top of mountain and amazing that when we took the 2nd time, nice staff (young lady) saw us and went out side of her office and told how to leave the cable. What a nice instruction! She knows that we were beginners and we need some instruction! I love this mount and we would be back for sure.
