Very good place, the food is very delicious and the service is very good, it takes a little while but it is understandable for what we ordered, even so it is an excellent place, they give you dessert and everything

The food here is amazinggggg. Me and my family have been going here for years. The seafood options are really delicious and you get a lot for what you pay for. It can be a little loud sometimes but that’s just their vibe! Definitely recommend.

Service needs improvement but the food is divine. Will return and try other dishes on the menu. There's something for everyone.

Very good place to celebrate with family. We were 20 people to celebrate my wife's birthday and it went very well. Very nice food and atmosphere A very special greeting to Jeremy who was very aware of everything and took great care of us.

Je tiens à remercier, par le biais de cet avis, la gentillesse du serveur qui était présent le 17 août dernier pour notre réservation de 17h00. Ce dernier se reconnaitra sûrement car je suis la dame qui a eu un malaise et ce Monsieur a tout fait pour nous aider moi et ma famille. Un gros merci pour tout.

Vraiment dommage. Solymar était très bien il y a 3/4 ans. C’est de moins en moins bien.
Ça sera notre dernière fois pour nous.

Nous sommes allés souper pour mon anniversaire. J'ai pris le temps de téléphoner et réserver pour 19h30. En arrivant au restaurant le serveur ne savait pas qu'il y avait une réservation.personne lui a dit.le malaise.on a dû attendre en bon 10 minutes pour qu'il nous donnes une table improvisé au milieu de la salle très à l'étroit.j'ai commandé la jalea j'ai reçu mon assiette 1h après et le poisson frit n'étaient pas frais.le ratio de manioc calmar n'était pas égale et les crevettes sans goût. C'est triste a une époque c'était un de mes plats préférés

Nous sommes de passage et avions envie d'essayer ce restau. Accueil très sympathique, repas copieux et savoureux.

Bad experience, as a Peruvian it really makes me sad to leave these types of comments and that there are restaurants that put Peruvian food down, which is so renowned and delicious. From arrival, the waiting time is too long, even though there were not many people, it took 15 minutes to take the order, apparently they had forgotten about us. When they gave us the courtesy when trying to pour the chili sauce on us, it fell as it was EXTREMELY watery, it seemed that they had made it like 3 liters of water and one chili, completely tasteless. When the waiter arrived to ask for the order, I told him if he had another chili pepper and he told us no, that the chef had left that one for the whole week, he turned it over and he also dropped it and indeed he recognized that it was poorly done but he did not could do anything. I told him that if that poor service and poorly made supplies were waiting for me, I couldn't really order my food there. I don't really understand how a restaurant that is well known and that is not cheap can serve such low quality products. I left with a bad taste.

Normally when I go, everything is fine but this time… The slow service and the waiter with a zero professional attitude! She attended all the nearby tables and ours hardly looked at her. I don't think I'll go again and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone either.

Deuxième fois chez eux 1er fois 2022

1. Réservation fait à 19h30 mais arriver la on nous informe que le réceptionniste ne leur a pas transmise.

2. Le service.
Entre l'ancien qui aide pas forcément, le jeune qui est partout et nulle part a la fois.la nouvelle qui ne sait pas les numéros de table c'est la pagaille.

3. Avec la condensation sans climatisation l'eau dégouliner d'un tuyau et sur les table. Chance que la nouvelle s'en ai chargé.

4. Plats arrivé, poissons chaud le reste tiède pour la plupart

J'ai bien manger, même ramener mais au prix de la facture je me dit faut redresser la barre quoi

C'est bon, pas malade le lendemain:), par contre il manquait beaucoup de bouteilles de vin blanc, on a eu un petit choix et souvent les plus chères.

Worst Peruvian resto in town, the type of place that looses your reservation and then you have a waitress with an attitude, to finally order the worst pisco drinks… Avoid this place and waitress as well, unprofessional, unapologetic and overpriced smh.

Awesome, very recommend. I do not know if the servants would be as good with everyone, but their attention to make things look good was impressive.

Great food, great service. My mom's filet was cooked to perfection, definitely recommend.

Casual place a little expensive for this type of style but above all very good everything from the food, the drinks and the service.

We there yesterday for my birthday after seeing it on TikTok, the pepper steak was seasoned well a bit salty. My mother ordered the paella and it was not seasoned and the peas in the rice were not soft. I recommend them adding more authentic flavors and seasoning their rice for the Paella. We expected authenticity but we’re let down, the white sangria was yummy. Other than that the service were friendly and welcoming.

Le service est correct.parce que le serveur si on lui demande pas de l'eau il nous en sert pas. En plus c'était un peu lent pour se faire servir. Même à la fin il a fallu qu'on se lèvent pour aller demander la facture.
Bref, on a pris le ceviche et c'était pas fou, on a manger mieux ailleurs. On a aussi pris les brochettes de cœur et c'était pas bon, la viande était trop coriace, trop cuite et donc difficile à manger. En plus c'est arriver froid alors c'était pire.
Le seul bon point c'était le lomo saltado! J'ai vraiment beaucoup aimé, le plat était bien garnie, la viande était tendre j'ai pris version filet mignon, vraiment bien assaisonné avec des grosses frites bien moelleuses à l'intérieur. C'était trop bon et une chance car en plus le plat est arrivé chaud! Ce qui était bien meilleur!

I think is time for the restaurant to change their current Chef. I know he has been there for years but in my opinion, Sol y Mar should hire a new Chef. The staff is fine and the environment is okay but the food. BTW real Peruvian food you are not gonna find here. They need a new CHEF!

Delicious food, excellent service. The prices a bit high. But it is worth treating yourself like these.

Prix très correct pour de la nourriture de bonne qualité. Ambiance festive et accueillante, je recommande!
