Delicious smoked salmon! It's worth the drive from the West Island. I am so happy that they are finally opening a location on Saint John's in Pointe Claire.

I stumbled upon this place while driving and got out with two types of smoked salmon. I got the regular one and the otheg one with herbs. The taste was simply amazing and the salmon very tasty and fresh. The fish was not too hard to chew and it has an amazing portion of fat in it. I added it later to a bagel with cream cheese and may I say that the taste was out of this world!

If you want to have the best bagel lox and cream cheese you must try this smoked salmon it’s always delicious and fresh! Thank you

I was a bit skeptical but wow. I am swept off my feet. The salmon taste like candy! It is so delicious.there is no fishy smell. Def the place where I am going to buy my fish from. The quality is undeniable.

This is a gem on Queen Mary. Staff is friendly and helpful, store is neat and clean. Never thought I'd say this as I've never liked smoked salmon, but Solomos' smoked salmon was sooo good! It didn't smell like fish, it was fresh, the taste was pleasant and it really was melting in my mouth. I paired it with cream cheese and a bagel. It tasted the best on day one and day two. I also got their Fromage à la crème au saumon fumé et tomate séchée and bagel chips. All was so delicious. I will definitely be paying a visit every trip to Montreal.

Been there a few times and it is quite pricey. The regular smoked salmon isn’t Smokey enough for my taste and the pastrami salmon is a better choice. The salmon tartare is probably the worst I’ve ever had and has no taste. Needed to re-tweak it when I served it for dinner. I would urge you to buy small quantities to try to see what you like.

Excellent service. They are more than willing to answer with a smile all your questions. The candy salmon made with maple syrup is a delicacy! Really a clean and nice place to buy all your smoke fish products. It is very likely to become a new tradition to visit them many times during the year. They also have flavored cream cheese spreads and crackers or bagels if you are planning a cozy tv night at home or you are receiving friends. This is the kind of place that makes Montreal a cool city to live in!

The owner was meticulous and the place is clean. We ordered 1/4 pastrami smoked salmon and 1/4 regular smoked salmon, incredible quality. Will be back often.

C'est sans aucun doute le meilleur saumon que je n'ai jamais mangé. Le saumon pastrami est excellent. Les sandwichs sont savoureux. Tout est toujours très frais, et le personnel très sympathique. Essayer c'est l'adopter. Le seul hic, tous les autres saumons vous paraitront ordinaires après avoir gouté au leur. ;)

They do one thing and they do it with style. The slamon is top quality and super fresh. Both the regular cold smoked and pastrami cold smoked are delicious. The sandwiches are satisfying and worth the price. And the style of the shop only adds to the experience. They definitely care about their product. Grocery store pre-packed smoked salmon is ruined forever.

I have to give this place five stars as well. Their products are delicious and service is outstanding & friendly.

Restaurant solomons. On the way to Décarie.small, cozy, modern, clean, quiet, good quality, expensive, tasty, greek, etc. These are the words that come to my mind. If you like smoked fish, be sure to go. If you don't like smoked fish, maybe you should change your mind. If you haven't tasted smoked fish, go and taste it. If you encounter Mr Nick, have a chat.very sociable. I would recommend.also read a review on Wikipedia who is Mr Solomon before you go.

Going to Solomos for the first time is learning the taste of smoked salmon prepared by someone who truly cares about the product they are serving. You cannot even begin to compare it with what you can get elsewhere, it's just that good and will simply melt in your mouth. If you have yet to try it, do your taste buds the favour.
