Excellent tour with many amazing street art examples to see. Pascoal was informative, friendly and knowledgeable and made sure everyone was having a great time throughout. Highly recommended!

We went on the mural walking tour around Little Portugal with Pascoal. He is a very mindful guide; it was a cold day and he had extra gloves for one of the guests to borrow. He also took us to a cafe for hot drinks, and at the end showed us where to get the best custard tarts. On the mural tour he provided information about the artists and the annual mural festival. He clearly loves Montreal, and his enthusiasm for the art and the neighborhood radiated to our group.

Btw on maps it looks like there are two listings for Spade & Palacio Tours and we were confused about which location to meet the group.

Excellent tour with Danny. Learned so much about the food and culture of the places he took us. Just wish we had more time since Montreal has so much to offer.

We did the Montreal Mural Tour and it’s was fantastic! Our guide Pascoal was very engaged and so informative! We actually bumped into a tour with the same guide the following day in a different part of town and he was happy to see us again!

Great Mural Tour with Rodrigo today. Really loved all the details that made the beautiful artwork come to life. Also the little man sculptures were something I’d never find on my own and they were pure joy.

Beyond the Basilica tour was fabulous! My tour guide Amelie was a gem. I loved how much of the city we got to see and all of the little details she shared with us. Stops for snacks and coffee at the perfect times made the whole experience exactly what I was looking for on my first trip to Montreal as an adult. Highly recommend this tour!

We had an absolutely fabulous afternoon touring Montreal with Amélie! We walked though local neighborhoods tasting and smelling food, experiencing local culture, and truly enjoying all that the neighborhoods had to offer. Amélie was extremely informative and it was nice knowing she actually lived in the neighborhood and very familiar with the market! We had so much fun and of all the things we did over the weekend this tour was by far my favorite.

We did the 4 hour bike tour with our fantastic guide, Felix. The age range of our group was 14 - 75 and it was very doable for everyone.

Seeing Montreal via bike lets you see and experience things that you just can't get from a walking tour.

Plus a delicious lunch in a park to break up the ride. Was a great day! I'd highly recommend this to anyone even if you're not a strong cyclist.

Just finished the Space and Palacio food tour. Marie was fantastic. The stops were all amazing. A fun way to explore the off the beaten path food scene of Montreal.

This was my second time taking the mural tour with this company and both times I was equally as impressed. The tour guides are locals and very well trained on the background of each artist and details that aren’t common knowledge to everyone. They are happy to answer questions and they finish off by giving everyone a list of local recommendations, which is super thoughtful. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a tour company.

Danny was our tour guide and he was fantastic! The amount of time we were inside and out was perfect.we didn't even feel that cold. We truly enjoyed this tour and would highly recommend it!

When my friends were visiting from out of town they invited me to join them on Spade & Palacio's Montreal Mural Art tour. Wow! I was so grateful to tag along! Our guide Gabriela was knowledgable and provided lots of cultural background during her well-paced walk to look at and better understand the murals and graffiti around St. Laurent, even in ruelles and small spaces between buildings. I learned alot and now these murals tell bigger stories when I pass them by. I highly recommend this tour to Montrealers and visitors alike. Most people stay away from "touristy" things in their own cities - but it was so fun to see the city in a new and unusual way! Thanks again so much to the wonderful Gabriela!

Amazing tour to see the non-touristy parts of Montréal. We learned the importance of language in the city, about the green alleyways, architecture, and so many other fun facts. Would recommend to anyone looking to see more of the city beyond Old Town. Tom was an amazing tour guide!

Very much enjoyed the Mural Tour my group took with Marie. Even though I had already walked along St. Laurent Boulevard, I saw so much more on the tour than I had on my own. This was a great tour to take with the 4 teens in our group - they were very engaged.

Our guide Sarah took us on an amazing tour of street art in Montreal. What a great way to learn about the local and international artists that brought so much to the city. Sarah was friendly, fun and answered all of our questions. Would highly recommend.

Had a really lovely experience on the Beyond the Basilica tour. It was my first time in Canada, and in Montreal, so this was a great way to get introduced to the city. I felt like we hit a good mix of touristy standards as well as many unique local recommendations from someone who really knew the pulse of the city. Thom was an excellent guide and had lots of great insights to share. He was really welcoming, did a great job of creating a professional but relaxed vibe, and made a personal connection with everyone on the tour. I also appreciated all his individualized recommendations and tips at the conclusion of our time together. I would definitely recommend this tour group to any friends visiting the city, and I hope I have time to come back and try the full food tour because the snacks we got on this one were fantastic:)

Took the 'Beyond the Basilica' tour and absolutely loved it! Tom was knowledgable and very friendly, and was a delight to explore the city with. He also provided several recommendations for places to visit and things to do around Montreal, and bought us a bao in Chinatown and a coffee afterwards. When in Montreal, changes are you'll go to at least one gallery or museum, why not make it an outdoor gallery! The streets and alleys are filled with murals and art that have stories & artists tales to be told! Highly recommend Spade & Palacio for their Montreal Mural Tour!

Our family had a facsinating and entertaining mural tour with Danny. Super nice guy, very focused on making sure everyone is engaged and having fun. He also recommended several places to eat and go in the city as he seems super plugged into Montreal and very passionate about all that the city has to offer. The teenagers and older folks in our group all enjoyed the tour very much and highly recommend it. We plan to do his food tour when it opens back up again in the Spring.

Amazing tour of Montreal's mural scene. Spade & Palacio were great. Made something work for our group last minute that fit into our tight schedule. Kept a group of 9 14 year-olds fully engaged - no small feat. All walked away saying it was the highlight of their trip to Montreal!

What a great start to our Montreal visit! Danny is a spectacular guide with deep knowledge of the city. More than that, his interest in Montreal wall art, food, city life, culture and current social movements is extensive and freely shared. We got a great overview of Montreal in our first afternoon, allowing us to focus on more specific bike rides and points of interest the rest of our trip.

Danny also went far above and beyond his 3 hour tour obligations. We had 2 flat tires and a related bike problem on our own bikes (not bikes provided by Spade and Palacios for the tour), and he solved our problems with his knowledge of local bike shops. It also meant he stayed with us for 4-1/2 hours! Can't say enough about this tour as an introduction to Montreal and Danny as a leader!

I went on the graffiti tour in Montreal and while I’m not usually one to take an organised walk I must say that this tour company lived up to its name - definitely not touristy! Very engaging and well informed guide. Would love to do more next time in Montreal

Really enjoyed joining a Spade and Palacio food tour. The pace and flavours were good. It was insightful and fun. It was an enjoyable way of getting under the skin of Montreal.

We did the MURAL walking tour, and it was awesome. Really cool insight into some beautiful pieces of street art around the St Laurent area, and the guides are pretty knowledgeable. The tour company (Spade & Palacio) are really kind and responsive, they move our ticket a day later upon request the night before without any difficulty. Cool way to get to know this area of Montreal and meet some people, locals and travelers alike.

Montréal is much more than just its old buildings and Notre-Dame Basilica. Wandering from Old Montréal to the Plateau, the Beyond the Basilica tour is a fantastic way to spend a morning – and there's multiple snacks and treats on the way! Where most tours of Montréal stick to the beaten path, getting some insider information on some of the city's famous MURAL Festival murals (including background on the artists themselves) was great, and the Chinatown snack was particularly appreciated. Danny is friendly and hilarious, and also pokes a little bit of fun at his city too, which is always a nice touch. Highly recommended.

Our tour was exactly what we were looking for. A lot of people in our group had been to Montreal before and "been there, done that" bagels, poutine, smoke meat sandwiches etc. We wanted something different and outside of the tourist area. Spade and Palacio delivered just that. A bit of Latin fair, cheese, ice cream, cured meats and beer, all while roaming through a multicultural part of the city, the Latin quarters, Italian quarters and Jean Talon Market. Our guide Daniel was informative in delivering historic and interesting facts about these areas. We all enjoyed our day and left with great memories.

What a brilliant afternoon! We did the winter food tour as a team building exercise and it worked really well. Our guide was like an old friend showing us around his neighbourhood. I took the Mural (Street Art) tour with Daniel today and it was EXCELLENT! I enjoyed walking around the Plateau neighbourhood, learning all about the artwork, the artists, and the diversity of murals and graffiti in the area. It was an enjoyable 2-hour walking tour that ended with a helpful "cheat sheet" at local coffee shop. Highly recommended!

My wife and I did both the biking murals tour and the Beyond-The-Market food tour. They were both amazing. The biking tour was an excellent way to see the city and its renowned cultural vibrancy, while the food tour brought us in close contact with the lives of the people of communities (and was delicious, no less). Both tours gave us a 'Montrealer's-eye-view' of the city, and were filled with both city history and the individual stories of the artists and business owners that comprise it. We did the Beyond the Market food tour and it was such a pleasure! Our tour guide Marie was amazing; so knowledgeable, sweet and fun. By far the best thing we did during our visit to Montreal. I hesitated to book a tour because it's not the kind of thing I would normally do, (no hate to tours but you kind of never know what you are getting yourself into and three hours is a bit of a commitment.) It turned out to be such a refreshingly unconventional tour, showing us aspects of the city and local food culture that we really would not have been able to access on our own, at least not in such an efficient and potent dose. It has opened my mind and now I want to book tours in every city I visit! And I would definitely book another tour with this company next time I am in Montreal. It was truly a joy.

My wife, 9 month old son and I did the Beyond the Market Food and loved it. All the food we sampled was delicious, the tour was really interesting and informative and we moved at a good pace with time to explore Jean Talon ourselves factored in. They accommodated my wife’s dairy allergy, although she had to miss out on one stop (which was just cheese).

Tom was the greatest of all guides for the Beyond the Basilica walk, he was very well paced for us senior folks and very informative with a touch of a Montreal resident. He gave us inside info at all the stops. Bottom line, he was the best guide we had for our 10 day cruise and visit.

Our friendly, helpful, and worldly wise Montréal native guide Daniel gave us a wonderful walking tour in English of murals and green alleys in the Plateau-Mont-Royal neighborhood. The history and insight about artists and buildings was as interesting as the public art was beautiful. It was a fascinating addition to our vacation, with other tourists from across North America. The Spade & Palacio cheat sheet shared at the end of the tour was full of untouristy local recommendations. I only wish we had taken this tour earlier in our visit so we would have more time to check out all the cool places introduced and mentioned.

My wife and I recently completed the Beyond the Bike Lanes Bike tour and I can't even begin to describe how much fun we had. The meetup point was super easy and we were on our way biking through the city. Our guide Daniel! Was an absolute gem. He took us all over and showed us so many special places within the city. HIs gregarious and bubbly personality was a great compliment to the amazing sites we viewed. He had an incredible knowledge of the city and you could easily gauge how much the city meant to him. The picnic lunch that was provided as well was delicious. Anyone that visits Montreal needs to have this bike tour on their list as a must do. High highly recommend this tour.

Lesley was our guide for Beyond the Basilica and she was amazing. We go on a lot of tours when traveling, and this one stood out for its breadth and for how much Lesley knew about the city (we ask a lot of questions.). Highly recommend as a "first day in Montreal" activity.

My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful bike tour with Daniel this weekend. Our guide was very friendly and knew all aspects of the city especially the wonderful murals. We had a great time on the bike tour with Anne-Marie in May. She was enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and accommodating. We covered a lot of ground and learned about history, art, and culture. I would highly recommend this bike tour to anyone who wants to explore the city, especially on the first few days of the trip. You will bike through many neighborhoods and areas you may wish to return to after the tour. Anne-Marie is such an excellent resource as a tour guide and can offer recommendations for the rest of your trip. She wrote down a bunch of places for us based on our dining and shopping preferences and we can't wait to use it the next time we return to Montreal.
