So you’re telling me this location is only open 20 hours a week and can’t even honour their working hours? They suck. They are barely open and then when they are, they close the store 2 hours early without notifying customers. Waste of time going there

Pire service à la clientèle de la province. Aucun moyen de savoir s’ils sont toujours en grève… Ils ne prennent même pas la peine de répondre au téléphone.

If I could give less than one star I would literally the worst store I’ve ever been too the hours are awful to begin with not to mention this store is closed more than it is open like at this point they might as well close the store permanently and just tell everyone to go to Ottawa because it’s the only place you can actually guarantee they haven’t closed the store for some dumb reason

I get you're unhappy as a worker but at that point just fine another place to work cause this is being dragged on for way too long.

It's not great always having to go across to Ontario which yes has much better pricing and selection as well as type of product available.

But sometimes it's preferable to just go 10mins away instead of 30.

If you talk about the strike openly in the store you will get kicked out as some of the employees behave like children and think they own the store.

Subpar product, employees who clearly have issues. If you don't want to work, go home. The short and overweight woman there should learn how to deal in customer service. Screaming sir over 10 times, while you're serving other customers is just insane.

I get you hate your job, but stay home, you're a disgrace to the actual people who would love to work.

Never going here again, I will quit before buying any product from you guys.

Nous n'allons plus à cette emplacement à cause de la grève. Il n'y a pas autant de choix et le service est pourri, je préfere aller à Ottawa

Les conseillers sont excellents, mais il est sérieusement temps que la grève se règle. Les heures d'ouverture sont exécrables et je n'ai plus envie d'y aller. Alternative, l'Ontario.

It is what it is. A place that can't even sell canabis. If It didn't have a monopoly it wouldn't have anything.

Personnel pro et courtois. Très satisfait du choix de produits et service assez rapide. Excellent!

Constantly a line up due to covid restrictions. Ontario you can order online and pick up in store. I feel like this is a system they should have implemented as well to help decrease the amount of people waiting in line and also help with spreading the virus. And let's all be honest when things were legalized we got one store for the entirety of Gatineau. You would think they would have a better method to get people in and out of there quicker. Because now people waiting in line and block other business entrances cause of this and tell me how this helps with the virus. Another store should be opened and a revision on how there operation is running should be changed to implement online ordering with the option to pick up in store would make things alot quicker.

Toujours des longues files d'attentes, produits sèches. Et les 3,5 pèsent souvent moins même si ils ont été emballés il n'y a pas longtemps.

Service is good, people are nice. It's the only SQDC in Gatineau, so the lineup is always long, but usually within 15-30min you're in.

Produits toujours frais, mais le personnel ne connaît pas les codes des produits, sans mentionner qu'ils ne savent pas de ce servir d'un ordinateur avec les codes des produits, très décevant.

Wonderful staff but horribly understaffed and nowhere near enough locations. This store is constantly lined up around the block making the service nearly inaccessible to many. Dangerous situations arise from large groups of people lining up with little to no coordination on masks and social distancing. No curbside pickup available, no pre-ordering. SQDC does everything it can NOT to support its excellent, friendly, & knowledgeable staff. Would be just as great as the private Ontario dispensaries otherwise.

Edited for less stars after yet another horrible experience in which I waited 40 minutes in line only to find out that the product which had been listed as stocked earlier in the day was out of stock.

Horrifically run institution.

I've only been here once. But I had a good experience. The lineup was long, but it moved along quickly. Social distancing rules where adequate and everyone was masked. They knew what they where talking about and I will be back. P. S.they do deliver also. Product and prices are good. Big range to choose from.

Vraiment mal conseillé essayer plusieur produit et malheureusement tous de qualité assez médiocre beaucoup trop chère pour la qualité du produit et n'a jamais la vrai quantité toujours une variation de 0.1 a 0.4 g manquant

Pros: large selection of sativas, indicas and hybrids, and lots of info about each strain and THC/CBD contents.

Cons: customer service is ok, there's lots of arguably basic info that they don't have, and there's that "in and out" (like in a convenience store) feel to the overall experience. If you want to explore and learn about their products, you're unfortunately better off doing it online first.

Nice location, great products choices and price. Small criticism that's pretty general. Huge containers that are filled 3/4 plastic (for small amounts of product) is very irresponsible in these times. I think that is a govt thing though, not sure, also pretty dry. But the specific location was great, I think this is a common problem.

Michel was great. As I old school, he walked me through with patience.he was very knowledgeable and spoke very good English and made me feel comfortable practicing my English. He made my 1st time a great experience. It was very clean great friendly atmosphere as well. I would highly recommend visiting. I look forward to going back again.

Amazing staff! Everyone is always very helpful when you have questions and the staff is clearly knowledgeable. I hope they would offer the option to order online and pick-up at the store, I think it would eliminate the long lines outside the store.

Ridicule. Votre pot est moi s cher qu'en ontario, mais my god l'attente au froid ou au soleil est interminable. Vous devriez faire comme en ontario.plus de sucursale, commande par téléphone pour emporter, c ridicule!

This lineup outside is not acceptable. An employee should come outside with a notepad and take everyone's name and order to make things go faster and prevent this unnecessary line from forming in the first place.

For those in Ontario: NO TAX TO PAY ON PURCHASES HERE! I give 4 stars because there are a few of the staff that just go out of their way to be very friendly, and I really appreciate that. I've seen aggressive and difficult customers handled with great tact, so I thank them deeply for their work. The selection of products has deteriorated just a little recently, but that isn't the store's fault; it's a system that is run by the provincial government. Thanks very much for your kindness, to those that have served me!

Their in-store service is great, but don't try to contact them by phone. For one thing, the answering service is all in rapid French, and you can't understand a word they say. I thought they'd have gotten over their language sulks by now. And for another thing, they just won't pick up. The phone will ring right off the hook, but non e of those lazy bums will pick it up.

While there's a long line outside, the transaction itself took less than 8 minutes. Never had any other issues. Always professional staff and good quality products.

This place is cheaper then any other store in Ontario by far, and the line up is very fast. I like the set up. This will be my one, and only store to go to now. The staff are all wonderful

Lack of variety and lack of knowledge employees are quite amazing but, they are limited on what they can say even if they know the taste. When there is something good it disappears right away products are.often too dry. The SQDC business model is outdated and it needs to change, we should be able to see the product before buying.

Peu de variete, cher et manque de conaissances des employees, malheureusement ils sont mal ensignés meme si ils connaissent le gout des produit ils sont limites den parler, Les employés sont sincerement fantastiques et acceuillent avec le sourire. Les produits sont souvent trop secs, et le gout mediocre. Le modele daffaires de la SQDC sont vraiment pas bon. Tout est cache et on ne peux rien voir je comprends le point de ne pas inciter de consommer mais si tu vends le produit les gens von pas lacheter et le regarder sans le consommer. Reveillez vous! Vous nous cartez a la porte, donc ya pas denfants dans le magasin dans un tel cas quel est le danger?

Why do we have to wait in line outside. Its winter in Canada! This is ridiculous, get your shot together Quebec. I dont have to wait outside to buy alchohol at the SAQ!

Great staff some of them nicer than others but still a great service. My brand recommendations would be (du bon, Tweed, Edison and san rafael (Tangerine Dream)

Its decent. Lines are long and the weed is dry. Still, if you need weed they've got a big selection and reasonable prices on some good strains

Used to be my go to spot for marijuana flower.price is still a bit hefty but the experience makes up for it. Place looks great, everyone is professionnal and products are good! Make sure to check the date of production / wrapping on your products as it can sometimes be old and moldy.

I was pleasantly surprised with the great service I received at the SQDC. Extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff, the only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that the waiting times can be a bit long but the service itself is very quick. I explained what I was looking for and from there the staff made their recommendation and we decided on a product together. Definitely will be back.

Got a 3.5 of Billy guy, it was not bad, I got 15 of Lagune it's good, got 3.5 of subway science and it was all shake and stems. Very disappointed with that! I'll ne bringing it back this weekend

Service extrêmement lent. La manière dont c'est gèrer fait en sorte que la plupart des employés n'aident aucunement au roulement et c'est très commun d'attendre une dizaine de minutes en ligne après s'est fait envoyé à la "caisse rapide" qui est la caisse la plus lente (5-15 minutes d'attentes après 5-10 minutes d'attentes en ligne pour choisir son produit). C'est essentiellement comme aller à l'épicerie, qu'il y a 4 caisses d'ouvertes mais que vous soyez obliger d'aller à la caisse où il y a 15 personnes en file plutôt que d'aller à celle où il n'y a qu'une personne.

La disponibilité est aucunement fiable et les employés ne connaissent rien de leur produits au point d'inventer des réponses qui n'ont aucun bon sens au lieu de dire qu'ils ne le savent pas. Je me suis même fait dire que les sortes hybrides sont plus difficiles à faire pousser car ça prend deux plants.

Prix décents, surtout comparé a l'Ontario. Service courtois et compétent, et plus rapide qu'on croirait malgré la file à l'extérieur.

I've never seen a dispensary like this in Ottawa yet. It's like walking in to an LCBO pretty much. Professionals who know what they're selling, and the prices are up to 50% or maybe more compared to the Ontario cannabis retailers. It is literally a 10 minute drive from downtown Ottawa. I know exactly what the problem is but the point is you can literally save thousands just by going over to Quebec. It's the same exact Cannabis. This place is perfect for advanced users or beginners who want to learn about cannabis and it's true effects and benefits.

This place caters to recreational cannabis only not medical. The staff is also very nice. I would have appreciated a better high CBD products offering.
