St Lazare Veterinary Hospital

5/5 is not a high enough rating for this Veterinarian facility. The staff starting from when you walk in to when you leave were SO good, friendly, gentle and extremely efficient.
I fell on them only because of the proximity on maps to my place but I would travel hours if needed to have them as our vet. I’m am so happy and in awe.

Amazing veterinarians! Don’t like how it’s harder to get an appointment then it used to be. Best to book in advance.

The best vet clinic! Every employee is extremely kind and supportive, I find they go out of their way to make each experience a positive one regardless of the circumstances.

The greatest veterinary hospital I've ever been too. I live pretty far and I'd rather do the trip and have a great service like they give. They really take care of you and your pets. I recommend to everyone!

Ils nous ont chargé deux fois une consultation avec vétérinaire pour administrer un vaccin et un rappel de ce même vaccin à notre chaton (gros max de 5 minutes avec la vétérinaire Lise Morel pour le rappel de vaccin).

Et en plus, ils avaient oublié un vaccin à la première consultation, donc il faudrait y retourner une 3e fois! Et hop, un autre p’tit 125$+tx! Nous en sommes à toi plus de 500$ sans le dernier rappel de vaccin et sans même avoir fait opérer notre chat.

Magasiner votre vétérinaire, il y en a des très compétents bcp moins chers dans la région

It was extremely difficult to get an urgent appointment and it took several phone calls before my senior cat was able to be seen (Understandable given the pandemic). My main complaint is that I was told bloodwork for my cat would take 10-15 minutes and someone would see me soon, however I sat and waited for over an hour before I gave up and had to go to reception myself to find out what was going on. There was a problem with their machine yet no one took a moment to let me know, my partner and toddler daughter were waiting in the parking lot and I could have made alternate arrangements home had they informed me.

However, I'm still giving four stars regardless. My cat had to be put down unexpectedly and they fit me in that day. The vet and staff who assisted were incredibly compassionate, professional, and kind, and walked me through every step. They treated my beloved pet with dignity and were understanding and empathetic and made an extremely difficult process easier. I hope they continue to improve on their customer service, otherwise their care is excellent and thorough.

Malgré que nous allons à ce vétérinaire depuis plusieurs années, il est très difficile d'obtenir un rendez-vous urgent. J'ai appelé à 3 reprises à l'intervalle de 3 mois et les 3 fois j'ai dû aller dans une autre clinique vétérinaire à Hudson pour faire soigner mon chat.
Un autre jour, j'ai téléphoné à cette clinique, la personne m'a dit qu'il n'y avait pas de place pour un rendez-vous urgent pour le lendemain. Le lendemain, je reçois un appel de la clinique qui était fâché que je ne me suis pas présenté à mon rendez-vous, malgré qu'aucun rendez-vous ne m'avais été donné la veille puisqu'ils étaient complets.
De plus, lorsque la clinique fait des rappels pour des vaccins, les rendez-vous vont dans 3 mois et il est impossible d'obtenir des renouvellements de prescription pendant ce temps, donc je dois retourner dans une autre clinique vétérinaire pour les vaccins annuel et avoir une prescription plus rapidement. Si vos animaux ont besoin d'être vus en urgence ou d'avoir un renouvellement, je ne crois pas que cette clinique vétérinaire est pour vous.

Switched to this Vet hospital when we moved from Montreal to Saint-Lazare. My experience has been excellent so far, especially more professional than my previous experience, with zero upselling. My dog is not the easiest and neither am I as we both have experienced trauma -I found they handled this with care.

Caring and nice staff. They really take thr time to explain everything you need to know and give you the best advices.

We live a good half hour drive away from this place. But wow it is worth it every time. The staff are so friendly and professional, honestly couldn't ask for anything different!

Very friendly and knowledgeable. I have no idea about competitive prices, but it seemed fair with the last time I'd been to a vet. They were very gentle with my cat, and were able to get me some test results back live. Selma like a good fit for my cat.

Great vet! Called Friday, got a spot on Saturday! The staff was able to handle my crazy psycho *itch of a cat expertly with very little bloodshed. Good and quick diagnosis with no pressure to spend money on treatments you may not want. I highly recommend this vet.

This vet failed in their primary mission, when we needed them most. This has been our vet for the last year. We called on Saturday when our dog was experiencing extremely worrisome and off behaviour. Lethargic for 7+ hours, would not eat, hadn’t slept in 24 hours, seems to have been in pain, could barely walk 3 feet. They REFUSED to see us, even in this emergency situation. They claimed that they were fully booked. They then informed us that they were CLOSED on Sunday and CLOSED on Monday for labour day. They then told us to find another vet in the area. I could not believe it. We spent the first few years of our dog’s life with another vet, when we were living in a different city. We’ve never had a situation like this arise. Our other vet has seen us at 11: 30pm and even on Christmas Day. When our neighbours warned us about this vet we assumed they were overdramatizing their situation. Unfortunately, this vet showed us just how little they truly care for our pets when we needed them most.

Amazing reception and care! They show compassion for our 4 legged friends and for the 2 legged ones as well! Wonderful staff!

UPDATE: I did return and again, had fantastic service and an invoice that didn't make me throw up. They are extremely reasonable, unlike one in Hudson. I am very happy with them.

Quality care for your pets (right until the very end for my dear Oreo) from an attentive, professional and empathetic staff. I have brought 2 dogs and 6 cats since the very early 1990s and have been pleased with their level of care. Highly recommended.

Super service! Avons été pris entre deux pour notre chien. Ils ne forcent pas aux examens coûteux ni aux opérations. Ils ont même trouvé un remède non médical pour notre toutou qui a bien fonctionné! Ils ne sont vraiment pas voleur, j y retournerais les yeux fermés!

Amazing staff. Very patient and calm. Explained everything to me in English. The facility is small but very clean. Ample parking in the back with a little seating area.

Terrible service. Waited over an hour to be seen. They forgot we were waiting despite reminding them a couple of times. The vet wasn't friendly and did tests we didn't ask for. Price was very high.

This is a great vet hospital. All the vets are very qualified, compassionate and respectful, they will give you care and treatment options and let you decide.they have a nice big waiting room and plenty of parking.my only complaint is that they have got quite busy in the last two years and it is getting very difficult to get a timely appointment. I think it is time to bring in one or two new vets. I recommend without hesitation.

We've been bringing our dog there for 2 years and no matter which doctor or tech we come across, they're always caring, attentive and knowledgeable.

We had a bit of an urgency on Easter Saturday. I called in the morning and they found a place for us that afternoon. Dr. Cohen is amazing. Her calm, gentle and thoughtful approach to Chico's care was impressive. She followed up with my husband on test results earning equally high praise from him. They made a difference for us and happy they are so close to home. We're very lucky.

I'm very satisfied with the customer service experience Dr. Claudia was really nice and she explained everything step by step and a technician by the name of Nancy was super friendly and assured me everything was going to be okay. Price was very reasonable:)
