Starbucks

While on my trip to Montreal, I’ve been coming to Starbucks for breakfast every morning. It’s very busy in the mornings so I recommend ordering ahead using the app. The staff are kind and helpful and I love the location of this store.

I used to love going to this Starbucks but because of the way a shift leader with tattooed arms is treating people, I won't going there anymore. I can't put up with racism and disrespectfulness

Ohhhh my gosh, this is the worst service I have ever received from the afternoon shift lead lady she is soooooooo rude mean, racist and disrespectful, I am a daily customer who comes 3 times a day bcs f her unprofessional attitude I won’t come to this Starbucks again. For such a minor modification in my order she disrespected me.

Super belle accueil avec les employés qui te disent tous « Bonjour!  ». Je suis allergique au produit laitier et on a été très consciencieux. Le nouveau « Expresso aux pommes  » est vraiment délicieux!  Expresso avec une touche de pommes sucrée

My recent visit to a Starbucks location left me thoroughly disappointed and frustrated with the overall experience. Despite the initial convenience of the app showing the availability of a specific drink, the reality on-site was far from satisfactory. Here are the key issues that contributed to my negative impression:

Firstly, upon reaching the store, I was greeted with an excessively long queue for ordering. It took me a frustrating 20 minutes just to reach the counter and place my order. However, to my dismay, the representative informed me that they did not have the drink I initially intended to order. Even when I decided to change my selection, I was informed that they were completely out of all frappuccinos. This left me unable to order the drink I had set my heart on, wasting a significant 30 minutes of my time in the process.

Additionally, the store itself was incredibly busy and overcrowded, adding to the overall negative experience. While I understand that Starbucks representatives were likely doing their best to manage the situation, the fact that I was unable to get the drink I desired after 30 minutes of waiting and checking its availability on the app was deeply disappointing.

Based on this experience, I regret to say that I won't be visiting this particular Starbucks location again. The inconsistency between the app's information and the actual availability, coupled with the excessive waiting time and the crowded environment, have left me with a negative impression. I hope Starbucks takes steps to address these issues to provide a more satisfactory experience for their customers.

The stuffs here are so friendly and smiles, even it’s crowded in store they’re working fast. This place is also good for study too.

Cashiers overly friendly seems so fake and almost like they’re begging for a tip and btw the fact i had the option to tip 5$ on a 10$ order right in my face after a 10 seconds interaction is truly ridiculous but the drink was good

I love the team! Super kind and welcoming. When it gets busy, they do their best and even if it's a long wait time, I don't mind.

They are often busy so veryyyyy hit or miss service (gave me the wrong sandwich, didn’t follow the instructions on my drink, etc.) but if you catch them at their quiet times, it is okkaaayyyy

They have some very rich coffees. The truth is that they are experts in what they do, it is not just renown

Details: One of my favourite branches around Concordia university, with a very nice terrace outside. During the summer that's one of my regular spots.

I ordered 2 of the southeast potato wrap and they sent one southeast potato wrap and one bacon wrap, they don’t have the common sense that if they run out of an item, they should call the customer and ask what they want, and not just send whatever they have available at the store. We are muslims and we don’t eat bacon eat is prohibited. This disrespectful towards muslims. The customer can be muslim, they can be vegetarian or vegan. They cannot just ask to eat meat to a vegetarian or vegan customer. And this is not the first time this happened. They could have simply canceled if they don’t have what I ordered.

Edit to my review: service has always been IMPECCABLE here, but recently, it has gone up (which I didn't think possible). The girls who work there in the morning are PHENOMENAL! They never ever make mistakes. They make an effort to remember your order and your name. They make you feel very welcomed, always smiling, polite, and professional! Out of all the customers they see and they manage to remember your name and your order, it really makes you feel valued as a customer! Seriously, the best Starbucks around. As much as the service is usually pretty good at Starbucks, this one outranks all of them! They go above and beyond for their clients, and it really shows! Other establishments **cough** Tim Hortons **cough** should take notes on how to keep their customers satisfied! Keep up the great work, girls! You'll go very far in life if you apply that effort into your career goals and ambitions! They are just so hard working and dedicated to providing stellar customer service. It's highly impressive! Just wow

Jamais déçu de cette endroit, ils sont super accueillants, aimables et serviables. Dans tout les starbucks auxquels j’ai été celui-ci est mon préféré avec leur équipe dynamique!

I didn't buy any food at Starbucks.
It's what you would come to expect. It's quiet and mostly students. Great place to grab a cup of coffee. Staff is always warm and friendly.

The staff is so rude and they discriminated me! English is not my native language, so I can’t speak like them with their accent and their reaction when I talked was very awful.

Received free drink as a birthday gift! I’ve tried few coffees till now, all tasted good! They are pretty fast in giving your order! You have to download the mobile application (if you haven’t yet!) it’s very reliable. The peppermint mocha tastes good!

They forgot about my orders (just brewed coffee) two days in a row, but probably it's because I was coming during a rush hour. Other times everything was good and fast. Overall a nice Starbucks location with friendly people.

Service is always so long, the barista was annoyed that I was asking questions about a drink and during the winter there are puddles of water and the entrance is always slippery. Sucks because it is basically the only cafe shop near campus.

A great studying spot! The staff is always very friendly, it's a pleasure to pass by for a quick coffee. Just tried the Pistachio Cream Cold Brew and WOW! It's so yummy, the perfect balance of sweet and bitter with a delicious pistachio flavour! I sure hope it's not limited edition!

It is -30C today in Montreal. I was out with my sister for a brief walk so my dog can relieve herself. We decided to grab a coffee before heading back home. I entered this location and stood in the corner with my pup (did not even grab a seat) while my sister ordered us coffee to go. I understand dogs are not allowed in the store but there is no place for someone to wait for their order and save themselves from this kind of cold. Would you kick someone out in a snowstorm too? Is there no human decency left? Can someone not grab a hot coffee to go with their dog? There was no regard for the weather outside nor respect for paying customers. I was rudely kicked out in less than a min before I could even explain I am only waiting for the order to go. The order took ~20 mins while I had to stand outside with my dog in -30c while waiting for my sister.

Horrible vibes here, don't plan to stay a long time. The baristas genuinely pick the most stressful music in the evening. Loud as hell rock non stop. It's like they want you to leave ASAP.
