Sad place for a Starbucks. The same lady mentioned in the other comments came at 2: 45 to tell me on a rude tone that they're closing in 10 minutes. Told her I didn't know they're closing so early, but no problem. Then she turns around, just to point at the door: "Well, we wrote right there, on the door, read it!

Oh well, it didn't cross my mind that a Starbucks in a downtown location would close on a Saturday at 3 PM. That attitude, tho! Sigh

Je trouve le personnel très chaleureux. C’est le meilleur Starbucks à Montréal pour étudier parce qu’il y a 3 étages et plusieurs options de sièges pour s’asseoir. Ce n’est pas trop occupé en semaine en plus.

C'est tout le temps tellement long le service parce qu'il y a trop de monde. La file d'attente est vraiment longue avant de pouvoir commander. J'ai essayé 2 fois cet endroit et j'ai attendu plus de 30 minutes pour avoir un café les 2 fois. Le prix est également élevé. Le bon côté, c'est un endroit propre et agréable et on peut manger sur place.

My venti cold brew was filled maybe a third of the way before the worker filled the rest of the cup with water straight from the tap right infront of me. After waiting 20 minutes, the drink tasted like genuine dirty water.
Do not recommend going here.

Worst service and rudest staff I have ever received at any Starbucks location in North America. How this location is allowed to be branded under the Starbucks name is a mystery. The staff were incredibly rude and incompetent, especially one barista named Kim. Will never return to this location.

Really ridiculous. First time very bad experience here in this shop.
The old lady took my order rolled her eyes like 8 times and asked her manager something. Apparently they didn't want to take my order which I have ordered lots of times at lots of stores before. I even showed them the order history so it would be easy for them to make it and they knew I had ordered many times before but they said they could not fit it in a cup? !? Nice explanation.
It is espresso con panna extra whipped with milk foam. They probably just saw it first time in their life so they make it harder time for me too. I didnt want to argue with them or hold the line at all so I said I could just go and order at other stores. They just let me go without saying a word or even sorry? !?
Disappointed and frustrated. What an attitude!

I'm a McGill student and come here pretty regularly, the service is always amazing. They greet u with a smile and are always kind and make conversation. Sweetest staff I've ever come across! Keep doing what you're doing ️

Rhonda’s the best, she’s super talkative and always asks what we’d like on it making sure it’s exactly what we’d want.

The service was bad! I work downtown and this was the closes Starbucks and they only open at 9. Knowing they are located near so many companies I would of expected that they would open earlier to serve the public before arriving at work. Apart from that, I when back at my break and they don’t mention that their paying systems are not working. So I waited in line for a good 20min, I had my credit card ready and I place my order, not once does the employee mention that they only take cash! And they dont even take starbucks points. I was so annoyed! I just wish they had at least mention it on the door, so I wouldn't have wasted my time in line. Anyways, i will not be going back.

Don't listen to the bad reviews for this specific starbucks.yes the hours are insane but who cares, if you're that mad about clearly-posted hours then go to one of the other 4 coffee spots in the neighbourhood.staff here is always fantastic and if you're gonna leave a bad review because YOU came in 5 minutes before closing time then you need to go work in food service and learn to develop empathy.you get back what you put out in the world!

Terrible service. This is Montréal, yet nobody spoke French or understood French. Latte was coffeeless. Asked for hot chocolate, got tasteless coffee instead. Asked for a chocolatine, it never came. Everything is wrong in this place.

I'm a starbucks fanatic, and I love their culture and their welcoming attitude. I just don't like it when they make my cup half full and cover it up with foam. That's poor marketing.

Staff was nice but not giving a free drink for my birthday and telling us that they don’t serve food at 2pm is unacceptable and terrible managing. Even at other franchised Starbucks they gave us a free drink.

Really bad experience with Miss Gabrielle and David. They were really rude, didn’t give me and my sister a good service since they were closing in 5 mins. Miss Gabrielle was swearing to me while whispering. I will never go back here again and this was the worst Starbucks coffee that I went to. If you tend to go, I suggest you not to go, because of the bad service.

À chaque fois que j'y vais pour un frappé a la fraise ils n'ont jamais le sirop fraise pour le faire. On ne peux utiliser les toilettes. Jamais de bon service!

The staff is super nice- anyone saying otherwise must be an annoying customer that got the same attitude in return!:) I like this location.

DISGUSTINGGGG, Horrible Service and cashiers. Whenever you come here you always see a line. Service is extremely slow and employees are very rude and loud. I've seen rats in the washrooms and homeless people using their washrooms. Ive seen people belongings getting robbed here. Some of the employess are horrible people.

Very fun branch for studying and working!

Lol apparently this place is owned by McGill and they don’t care for complying with Starbucks rewards.

Always packed - taking out a coffee could take longer. You cannot redeem starbucks rewards here.

Starbucks is starbucks but i am giving this one 5 stars for their comfortable seating option, more and better then any other one i have been to in Montreal.

Worst Starbuck in Montreal since they reopened. No beverages with chocolate, no cinnamon, no vanilla.at least they have sugar

The people were super friendly and the store wasn't busy but this has the slowest service Starbucks I've ever been in.

Classic starbucks. Good food, great service, lots of space to sit and chat or work on homework. The only slight issue was that they did not have the first couple of foods I tried to order. The staff were very kind and listed everything that they still did have in stock though which helped out.

I really love the place, the service is improve since last time I've been there. I love the new menu Cinnamon Short Bread Latte!

If you're looking for somewhere to work from your laptop, there are quite a few spots to plug in here, and quite a bit of seating in general. It may fill up though, due to the proximity to McGill University.

The service is slow and there is almost always a line. Also, for Gold Card members you cannot earn points for special promotions which is disappointing. Overall, I always have bad experiences at this Starbucks.

There is only one door so every time someone enters or exits the place everyone freeze. There is always a huge line and the service is slow so I would recommend going elsewhere especially between 1 pm and 4 pm
