You cannot go wrong with the honeycomb beef tripe soup at this resto, it is very nicely done. But if you ordered a small tripe soup consider it an appetizer since it is not a very big bowl. I always care more about the food than I do about service, its the last thing on my list when eating somewhere. The dessert was okay and a bit sloppy, but don't see why that should stop you from returning to this iconic place, it is a historical landmark.

Love this restaurant. If you are looking for authentic polish cuisine, this is your go-to place! They have a live pianist, it adds to the cosy/ romantic old Port atmosphere!

One of my favourite places to get dinner in the old port! Very reasonably priced with generous portions, the food at Stash Cafe is delicious, real Polish comfort food. Highly recommend the table d'hote option if you want to sample a good amount of the menu.

Fantastic menu, several vegetarian delicious options, charming service, & their seasonal desserts are not to be missed! Go see for yourself, but try to visit outside of peak hours (reservations strongly encouraged).

We visited twice in a week, that is how much we liked it. Polish food is something we don't get as part of our normal fare at home. My wife and I shared the sampler the first visit. I had the stroganoff and she had the perogies on the second. All delicious.

We came, we saw, and we enjoyed it a lot! Żurek (soup soured with fermented rye starter served with a boiled egg), stuffed cabbage rolls (Gołąbki), and potato pancakes (placki) with sour cream were all delicious. Win, win, win!

Can’t say enough good things about this place. Food was on point with great service. Please fix the banging entrance door and you’re 5/5. Solid atmosphere bringing you to a different era.

We shared a dinner because we weren’t sure if we were going to like it. Boy were we wrong. The food was amazing. We had Kielbasa with sauerkraut and potato salad. Their choice of mustard set it all off. Fantastic. We will be back.

Incredible polish eats, just like Baba made! My husband and I wanted to try as much of the menu as possible so he ordered the Debutant, which consist of an assortment of polish dishes and I had Golabki (cabage rolls). Pierogi must be included at some point of your meal as their fabulous I can't wait to go back to try their dill pickle soup amd brunch. Curie-tini cocktail proves that vodka & pickle is a winning combination. Service was courteous and super fast. Prices are incredibly reasonable. Will definitely be back!

Definitely a welcome surprise to find such good polish food in this part of Montréal! So glad we meandered in for a late lunch. Pierogi and kielbasa were very good!

Loved it. Such great authentic polish food. The place filled within 30 min of opening and with 2 servers on they handled it quite well. I’d definitely recommend.

Always delicious, great service and ambiance with the pianist playing every possible song! One of our favorite places for a family dinner.

Delicious food (I loved the potato pancakes 'placki'). I LOVED the piano music also (the pianist played contemporary very pleasant, easily recognizable modern tunes perfect for a relaxing romantic dinner).

The best Polish food in Montreal. If someone wants to try Polish cuisine abroad, this is the right place.

I can not tell how lucky we have passed by this restaurant and finally decided to go in. This is a must try in downtown Montreal, they have amazing food, kind service, great atmosphere and reasonable price. I really like the beef pierogi and pork sausage here.

We visited Montreal last week for the first time, and Stash was high on our list of restaurants we wanted to try. It exceeded every expectation:
- Atmosphere: large, stonework walls, red fabric lamps, a piano player setting a very relaxed mood;
- Service - very attentive and knowledgeable;
-And of course, food. My wife and I ordered two entres to share:
Sznycel Mielony, two breaded ground pork meatballs, in mushroom sauce with potatoes and salad, and a mixed Pierogi plate. I tried the pork meatballs first and it was so good i was worried I wouldn't want the perogies; then I tried the perogies (my lord)!

There were certainly other memorable meals in Montreal that week - but this was the best meal of our trip.

Stash Cafe is a beautiful location that is absolutely perfect for date night or an intimate dinner.

The Barszcz and Ogorkowa soups are divine. Pierogi and Placki are super delicious. The croustade is out of this world!

Stash is the perfect spot to hit when you want the perfect night out.

Being of part Polish ancestry, it's always a pleasure to go to a restaurant that serves the food of my childhood memories and does it well. Stash hits all the high notes!

Polish comfort food by far the best I've ever had I highly recommend this restaurant. It's reasonably priced food is amazing.
My wife is German she loves cabbage rolls these were the best ever.

An amazing experience, from the food, to the service, to the atmosphere. The inclusive meal option was a great choice as it provided a sampling of several wonderful items. Our server Magda was so kind, patient, and attentive. When I next find myself in Montreal, I will be going back. This is a MUST visit dining stop.

Comfort food at its best. Have to come back to try the other menu choices. Service was fast, friendly and caring.
