Most compassionate lawyer I have ever met not only does he go above and beyond for his clients but when I run into him or message him for a small question he still asks me about how my family is doing (father suffers from mental illness). There are plenty of lawyers who tell you one thing and and once they got your money the story changes, not Stephane he is honest from the beginning. All in all I consider him the best lawyer not only for his beyond excellent lawyer skills, but because he is also a very caring and understanding person which is a very rare quality to find in a lawyer.

I was referred to Stephen Angers by another lawyer to get a protection order against a man who was threatening me. Even though I had only gone to meet Mr. Angers for one document, Mr. Angers already knew everything about the previous case from the first lawyer. In our first meeting, he repeatedly pressured me to retain his professional services. Knowing that I had already been defrauded once, he continuously tried to convince me that he would get my money back. After I paid him thousands of dollars to retain his services and nothing had happened, he convinced me to meet him again and said he would require more money. I lost $6,000 in these two transactions.

Subsequent to paying Mr. Angers, he ignored my many attempts to gather information about my case. At no point was an estimation and explanation of costs provided. At no point did he follow-up on any of my questions. I finally ended up filing a claim with The Quebec Bar Association. It was then that I was able to get some of my money back because he was not able to prove his side of the case.

As a client, and ordinary citizen with no legal knowledge, I put my trust in Mr. Anger’s obligations to his professional code of conduct. Instead, he sought to take advantage of me when I was already in a vulnerable state. If you have had a similar situation with this man, it is important that you post your experience and report him to The Quebec Bar Association.

An absolute scammer.he took over 15k of my money and i got norhung from him. He insulted me and was very condescending. He outright lied to me and tried to get me into a rehab center that cost 30k for 6 weeks. He lost.important info i texted him and and deflected the blame on me. He still owes me a refund months later and hasent respected the deadline he himself set. Apparently he is an expert at fraud cases.the investigator he hired was a fat out of shape ex cop who was unable to even co up to a window to look at handprints. Too demanding phisically. He is a bad person and will most likely threaten and try to intimidaate me for this review
