Super cute atmosphere, friendly staff, awesome service, creative treats to try. A favourite for the locals

I gave it three stars for food because I couldn't eat anything here. No vegan food. I did have an oat milk latte and it was really good. Great spot to sit and relax while enjoying a vegan coffee. Art work everywhere, great ambience. Really wish they promoted vegan options.

I love this place period! David opened up his space all winter for us to gather, share, dance and sing. My friends and I had an amazingly warm place to celebrate life each week. This summer has been so much fun. I met so many lovely musicians, new friends and even new dance partners. Thank you so much Studio family for creating this warm atmosphere all years round. Always service with a smile and great music for my dancing feet! If you haven’t had the experience give it a try and don’t forget to say hi!

The service was very friendly, the coffee was great, but the breakfast sandwiches were lackluster at best.

NOT A STUDY SPOT. Went here with my laptop and they told me I couldn’t use my laptop in the coffee shop. So that was definitely a huge disappointment and inconvenient.

Other than that I got a matcha late which was very tasty and the environment was chic and cool. Nice artwork and a relaxing place to sit. There was an outside area with semi-covered tables and outdoor live music while we were there.

The coffee is burnt and Smokey for my taste, the croissant was doughy and not flaky at all. Very nice atmosphere, with a nice back yard, music in the weekends, and amazing service. I wish the coffee would be better.

Always love the ambiance and welcoming atmosphere. The perfect place to go for afternoon coffee and/or outstanding local entertainment in the evenings. They really try to accommodate everyone and to create a great community vibe. A home away from home.

Cozy place to take shelter from the snow, it’s important to note that there’s no wifi or laptops allowed, the purpose of the place is to have people actually interacting with each other. They have some books to read and the art on the walls is also available for purchase.

Great place for a coffee and chat. Staff is very friendly and i love that it's a no laptop coffee shop.

Nice atmosphere! Ducked in to avoid the rain on a weekday lunchtime. The knish were delicious although the food selection was a bit limited. Plenty of space to relax and unwind and really appreciated the no laptop policy. Interesting art decorating the walls. Drinks were good but with such a big tea selection it's a disservice to not serve them in teapots!

Great spot in the Pointe Claire village to get great lattés, scones, knish, etc! Friendly staff and vibe. They have a south facing front terrasse and a side patio if you prefer shade/sun! Don't take my word for it, just go experience it first hand

I often meet here with my friends for coffee and scones. All their wraps and sandwiches are deliciously fresh. The ambience is friendly and the decor is pleasant. I like their terrace. For me it is all about a fun time with friends combined with a visit to their nearby shops. ️ Uniquely special.

We just ordered 2 kind of chocolate pastry (take out), and the lady gave us cakes! I wont spend on gas to come back, but this is not nice and not right to pay for some thing you did not want.

Had a frosty Red Stripe and an eggplant chickpea knish, which was scrumptious but very cold in the middle. Band playing had a good vibe. Picked up a lovey card.

Nice and cool. It had that "holyday vibe" (where I didn't quite fit, I was quite in a rush.)

That’s our favourite spot with mom on mornings! Fresh bakery and good coffee is what we need on Mondays! Service is perfect and workers are nice and friendly! Recommend it for 1000%

The atmosphere, vibe, decor all add to the amazing coffee/lattes and blueberry scones I have way too often at Studio. No laptops means there’s always a friendly buzz and a table to be had!

Studio 77 is my favorite place to sit and enjoy an oat milk latte. Whether it's on my way to work on weekday mornings or leisurely on a Saturday afternoon I love to feel the buzz of the people around me and look at the beautiful local artwork on the walls. Shout out to Amber, my favorite barista in the West Island, no one makes an oatmilk latte like you do!

David and his staff are wonderful hosts, super friendly and are able to connect with their customers. We travelled from NS to Montreal for the weekend and found our way out to this hidden gem. With the great food and service and the talent of the local musicians this turned out to be the best night of our trip. Highly recommend this as a stop for everyone.

This used to be my go to place in the area. Sadly it has gone downhill in the last few months. Coffees are lousy, cappuccinos are inconsistent on a regular basis. The owner doesn't update the opening and closing times on his website often enough. The website will say open and i get there to find it closed. Fyi prices have gone up but to be fair that can be said about alot of places recently. I can only hope going forward that Studio gets back on track. When they are on point they are the best place in the area hands down. Fingers crossed i can relive that pleasant experience once more

After spending more then 20$ this morning I was rudely asked to leave the store because I was reading a book for more then 1.30 hours. The rude manager stopped me from buying an other latte and said: this is not an office.
Après avoir dépensé plus de 20 $ pour un brunch, en lisant mon livre pour une heure 30 le gestionnaire a accosté d’une façon très désagréable en m’empêchant d’acheter un autre café au lait et en me disant que je devait quitter parce que ce n’était pas un bureau.

1. I purchased a brunch which included bottle of water, large latte and a sandwich total 17.65$
2. Your sign only mentions not laptop, I had a book in hand. The young lady mentioned the laptop only.
3. I arrived at 9.45 and left at 11.15 not 3 hours
Business fails not because of bad product it’s more for bad management. With this kind of attitude towards the customers, you will definitely have more negative comment.

Lovely slice of lemon loaf and Latte on a gorgeous sunny Sunday in Pointe Claire Village! Can't ask for anything else!

They were very friendly and had a large variety of products to choose from. The staff was kind and very polite.

Studio 77 is a really lovely place. There's great ambiance and it's a perfect spot to grab a coffee or lunch. They have really tasty sandwiches, coffee and desserts.
I will say that I tried their Sesame salad and wasn't a huge fan. I think they could do a lot more with this type of salad. I also don't think that Dijon mustard should be part of a sesame dressing. I would encourage them to create a more asian style dressing and add sesame seeds, maybe some cilantro.

This was my first time here, but it won't be the last! The breakfast and my hot chocolate were delicious, and the service was wonderful. The sitting area is beautiful, both inside and out. I will definitely be coming back for more!

Went in for brunch (closer to 12). There was a line up of about 10 people and waited about 15 minutes. Ordered a double flat white. Unfortunately had to add the sugar in myself but was well made. The aroma of the coffee beans they use is great. Also got a medium roast brew. Good with a strong cacao after taste. For food, we got the beef and pepper kanish, lemon cake and an abricotine. The knish was very good. The lemon cake didn't need the icing and the abricotine was decent. Overall 4.5, they don't deserve a 4, so 5 it is.

This place is my new fave spot in pointe claire village. Cocktails or coffee, theyve got it all folks. And the outdoor seating is quite extensive and dynamic. Sipping on an iced chai at an outdoor bar stool overlooking the bustling street is delightful:)

David and his amaaazing Team have done such a great job of transforming this space in the centre of the Pointe Claire Village into so much more than just a (great) coffee shop. The studio is just that; a centre for creativity as well as a community hub for meeting up with friends/colleagues/art + music lovers. It features local artists (including David the owner's originals) on the walls and local musicians outdoors on the terrasse. Super socially distanced and respectful but still offering the opportunity it to connect. You can add Baileys to your latte as they have a pretty stellar booze selection as well as sandwiches and ah-mazing almond croissants.

Very cosy cafe with little siiting areas where you can enjoy your cappuccino and a little bite.
Hosts a little Art gallery as well.

Edit: tried going in on this gorgeous and busy day and they ran out of milk and closed at 3. Not impressed.

I come very often to get my coffee in the morning here. It's always great, but today my wifi was down and I was looking for a place to take my online class, not just grab my coffee and go. Very disappointed that there is no way to have a laptop open in the café. I wouldn't have wanted to disturb anyone! I personally don't see the difference between sitting and reading a book for one hour or sitting and listening to my class for an hour.

I have been coming to the studio for over 3 years now. Its like my second home. I usually come right after the gym and am able to text ahead to reserve my favourite scone
I never had a bad service at studio77 or was unhappy with my food. Its really great to have studio77 in the village. I love the whiskey tastings and the ever changing art on the walls. Unique and great ambiance and did I mentioned the service?:).

I have been to Studio 77 on multiple occasions and love the location.
Yesterday (March 12) I listened with incredulity how the manager treated a customer. The manager was quite rude and even picked up the customer’s personal belongings (business materials) with a blatant disregard and disrespect. The manner in which the manager treated the customer was shocking. Perhaps the manager needs anger management sessions or some other form of cognitive behaviour therapy. Definitely missing PR skills. I will not spending my money there anymore. With all that is going on in the world, the manager should take a deep breath.

Studio 77 was a pleasant surprise when myself and some friends discovered it about 5 months ago. Great location and flexibility for people who work from home.
The staff is very pleasant and always friendly, unfortunately the person who manages it - David has little respect for individuals privacy and respect for customers needs, by interrupting people during business meetings and admit-tingly allowing louder customers behave in unprofessional manners, while others are trying to study and work.
Once recommended, but not anymore for anyone who wants to work or concentrate, and especially appreciate customer service!

Precious hidden gem of the West Island! Perfect atmosphere for grabbing coffee, a beer, sharing a good bottle of wine in a hip, homy, modern and friendly setting surrounded by beautiful, local artists’ paintings and art. The staff is warm, fun, so friendly, and so attentive to customer needs! Food variety on point, full bar, comfortable and beautiful amenities. Caters to parties and large groups, perfect for catching up with your friends or for a romantic date. Great job Corinne and Dave for having made Studio77 and Studio Works such staples of the Pointe Claire Village!

Very Disappointed. Visited once and will not return. Food was very expensive; sandwich was tasteless and soup cold! While ordering my meal at the counter with the owner David, he blatantly decided to ignored me and proceeded to service his friends standing behind me. This Business owner needs to learn some manners and have respect for all clientele! Don’t believe me? Just read his comments to his 1 star reviews.

UPDATE: I’m sorry that you can’t appreciate constructive criticism, because that’s what makes businesses stronger. And I DO NOT APPRECIATE BULLYING. Wishing you good luck in the future, and hopefully a change of attitude.

I was participating in one of BNI meetings there. The food is exellent, the place is very clean and modern. It was a real pleasure to visit studio 77 and I hope that I will come back to try your other meals very soon with my family. Thank you very much!

What a lovely discovery! Loved this place! Great coffee s s choice of kids size at a reasonable price for kids, nice pastries and no computers allowed! Refreshing! Will be back!

One of the best cafe you will ever experience! Great ambiance and such a wonderful space they have. Really worth to check out if you are staying by the airport and want to work/cozy yourself out. Look for David to get a tour of this cafe to know about the workspace and the art work. He's the owner and usually there.cheers!

We've been spending quality time here at Studio 77 for more than a year, and I must say, the place has special meaning. First, a close friend and I meet here to share our stories and common interests, and enjoy a few robust and competitive rounds of Cribbage, and second, as an author, Dave the owner opened up a section for me to host a book signing. Studio 77 is often the cafe I recommend when I meet clients. If you are wishing for a place where the owner actually talks to you, and you want to share special times, Studio 77 is the place.

It’s unfortunate that I can’t give 0/5, because I would. Here’s my experience, and please students listen up! I showed up bright and early at 8: 30 shortly after opening. The girl working saw that me and my friends have laptop bags, and directed us to use the back room. We walk there, to which someone was studying super seriously and quietly, a room with no windows and the seating not as comfortable. So I walked back and asked her well if me and my friend need to discuss as part of our studying and don’t want to bother the other person, is it okay that we sit in the regular tables? To my dismay, the answer was no. Completely ridiculous! Not only will I never be showing up there again, but it took us 45 mins to find somewhere to go because cafes like this in the West Island are few and far between. Lesson learned tho: Rockaberries on St-Charles is the place to go! It only opens at 11am, but still. Was so much more productive there with nicer staff, than I would have been at Studio 77 not even comfortable to sit in a windowless room.

I've become a regular because of the amazing service here. The staff and the owner are kind and friendly, and the cafe is always clean. It's a very welcoming atmosphere and I highly recommend it.

Studio 77 is the kind of place one associates with quiet afternoon talks shared with a good friend over a great coffee or a light meal. Not a pretentious place, you can easily find students rubbing elbows with business people or a group of old friends having tea and gossiping after an afternoon of shopping. Nestled in the heart of Pointe-Claire village, it has become the go to place for many a crowd and with just cause. Great food, fantastic coffee, a quaint ambiance and for people watching in the warmer weather there is a terrace with a wonderful view of the passersby on Lakeshore road. Don't take my word for it, go see for yourself, the friendly staff will welcome you and serve you with kindness and that certain touch, that will make you want to go back.

I liked the artistic ambiance so much. I had never lived such a good place for coffee before. It is Clean and there is the possibility to have coffee, breakfast, mini lunch with a bar for liquor lovers. The place is excellent to get together with friends and enjoy it. The prices for Mocacciato, and latte were acceptable. They are also in Instagram so you can go see the menu and many lovely pictures people left.

I usually come here to grab a coffee and some food and stay about an hour. Yes I bring my laptop and do some work (not a student). Last time I went, the owner angrily showed me around a library type working space where us workers must go to now if we want to have a coffee and work that costs 10$ LOL.honestly pretty crazy how aggravated he was by me staying an hour because I've gone there a few times where I go in and see other groups there and leave before they do.none of them doing work. My suggestion would be to have a two hour hold on tables to avoid people staying too long. Judging by his responses to other comments, he'll probably have something rude to say to this but I don't rly care. That just looks bad on him.unfortunate because I liked the place. But wont be going there again.

Nice coffee shop. Friendly staff. I didnt see a booth in front of the window like it has in the photo tho. I may have missed it. It is mostly tables and chairs from what I see.
