Mon expérience avec Subaru Montréal a débuté avec la pire des expériences avec Subaru Laval. Je n'avais aucun suivi et j'attendais mon véhicule depuis cinq mois. J'ai un ami qui fait affaire avec Gashmi Fontaine depuis plusieurs années et qui me l'a référé. C'était le jour et la nuit. Gashmi a fait plus de suivis avec moi en une journée que mon autre vendeur en cinq mois. Bref, Gashmi a accompli un miracle et m'a trouvé mon Crosstrek en quatre jours! J'ai reçu un service amicale, sans pression et attentionné de tous les intervenants avec qui j'ai discuté chez Subaru Montréal. Je recommande fortement ce concessionnaire pour l'achat ou la location d'un véhicule!

Ever since my first service with Jean-Sebastien Lacroix almost 9 years ago I've been coming back to this location for every Subaru I have ever owned. They are very professional. The service department and parts department know their stuff. Best service I have ever had at any service center, this coming from a ex service advisor. JS your rock! Keep up the great work!

We received outstanding customer service when we bought our Crosstrek last month. I can especially recommend our salesman Gashmi!

I had the most terrible customer service ever in Subaru Montreal located at Rue Pare. The only professional and polite person in this dealership is Mr. Panos Savas. The rest are a bunch of clowns including the head of service department.

I got my brand new Forester in October 2022 and it was on summer tires. Due to the weather condition of Montreal, I changed them all to winter tires in November 2022. I overall drove 6000 KM during winter and changed to summer tire in Late March 2023. I drove below 1500 KM on my summer tires until July 2023 and one day I noticed a bubble on my tire. I contacted the dealership and provided images of the tire. They told me to bring the car to the dealership so that we can examine it.

I brought the car to them and they said there is a bubble and you have hit a pothole! I said, firstly, I do not remember that if I have hit anything that hard to cause a bubble on the tire and I am not an off-road guy and drive gently. Secondly, assuming that I have hit a pothole, why your tire is that much vulnerable to a pothole? ! Subaru claims it makes cars so tough and capable of hardcore off-roading, then how come it cannot resist a pothole? ! I understand that tires are built by Subaru's third-party but since Subaru has sold it to me, then Subaru should be responsible.

Finally, they told me that let us talk to Subaru Canada and see what we can do, then they returned my car to me and said it is safe to drive and do not worry! Then I asked how much does it cost to replace the tire without warranty, they replied $252.20.

Four days later, I contacted them for a follow up and they replied, Subaru Canada refuses to cover the damage to the tire and you should pay $302 for tire replacement. Then, I asked how come 4 days ago you gave me a cheaper quote at $252.20 and today you say it is $302? They completed denied!

When I told them that I do not want to be your customer anymore and cancel my pre-ordered EV (Solterra), they freaked out and said we might be able to give you at most $120 credit!

Overall, I refused to get this small credit (and changed the tire at Canadian Tire) mainly because of two major reasons: firstly, they offered me this credit only when I pulled out of buying an EV car from them. Secondly, they were dishonest about the price of the tire.

It is interesting to mention that, Canadian tire sold exactly the same tire with the same brand to me at $251.18. Therefore, we can conclude that their first quote was right and the the $302 quote was not real.

Shame on this dealership and its director and head of service and their entire entities.

My wife and I just got our new Forester Sport last week and couldn't be happier with the service we received, especially from Nils, who shepherded us through the entire process with patience, professionalism and good cheer. Romain and Fanny were also very friendly and helpful. This was definitely our best new car buying experience. Well done Montreal Subaru!

NEVER EVER take your car here for service. Deserves a zero star review. No respect for customer’s time. Schedule appointments but then make you wait hours. Then they botch the work. Took the car in for a battery check. They claimed that they were going to check ignition and starter as well. Charged $80 for recharging the battery. After turning the car off after the service, the ignition is locked up. They now claim that they did not touch the ignition. And they take no responsibility!

A rare level of professionalism and honesty from Chino Doan. Just took delivery yesterday of a 2017 Impreza that I saw literally a few days in as a lease return. Chino replied immediately to my emails on a Saturday, offered me to see him on a Sunday and opened the dealership to us. Upon delivery as promised they inspected the car, changed all pads and rotors, oil and filter change, wiper blades and a complete inside outside detailing. I highly recommend him, and they are lucky to have him @SubaruMontreal what an impressive level of service that I have yet to encounter with Audi and Benz…enough said!

Panos Savas, is the person you need to contact when buying a new car at Montreal Subaru.

I recently purchased my second new Subaru from Panos. I do my research and carefully select the vehicles I may be interested in buying, then I go out looking for a new vehicle that meets my needs.
I can’t count how many times I walked into new car dealerships only to be accosted by ignorant and pushy car salespersons, trying to push the deal of the month. Then the song and dance of having to see the manager to get me the unbeatable price…. (You know the drill). Then there are all the hidden costs at transaction time. NO THANK YOU!

Not the case with Panos. Kind, polite, patient and very knowledgeable I can’t think of a more pleasant experience buying a new car. Panos listens and delivers exactly what you want, no more no less, no hidden costs or surprises, and no parade. Just a simple transaction the way it should be. Additionally, Panos arranged an accommodation sale, allowing me to obtain maximum value for my trade-in by selling it myself but saving both GST and PST on the value of the sale.

One more thing, Panos even offered to come by my home to explain the complexities of the Subaru Head Unit should I require further assistance.
Now that is service above and beyond

Chino is hardworking, he goes above and beyond to get what you want and need. I will deal with him again, no hesitation! He even drove to my house with his wife Jobelle, to drop something off that I had requested one month after buying my vehicle. I have been using the Service Department at Subaru MTL ever since leaving my old dealership and it had been NIGHT AND DAY! I usually deal with Sebastien and what an amazing experience it is. He makes everything simple and easy. No headaches. He checks with me for every little thing before even proceeding just incase. He is pleasant and he treats you with respect. They always do a fantastic job with my maintenance and tires.

The whole buying experience was very stress free and easy as the entire staff from reception to financing were very friendly and very helpful. Very positive experience unlike many other dealerships I have been to.

I had Chino as my salesman who was extremely knowledgeable about the cars I had questions about and gave me all the information I was looking for that ended up pointing me towards the car that suited my needs the most.

Everything was very quick, efficient and streamlined. The paperwork with my salesman was effortless (especially with the mistakes that the previous dealership caused on my car I was trading in) as Chino and the finance manager handled everything for me and required nothing on my end which would have been a nightmare to correct on my part.

I'm a return customer, buying my second car as I write this. It's a pleasure dealing with Chino and Lea, and I'm a Subaru convert (as most people who drive them become).

Buying a car is stressful because it's tough to know if you're getting a good deal - there's a lot of "theatre" in the negotiations - but at Subaru Montreal I feel like the staff always take the time to reassure me and answer my questions thoroughly. My first car (bought from here) was in great condition, ran with just regular maintenance, and took me on a 1700 km commute to the far north regularly. Happy to be upgrading to a new Forester!

Bottom line: I don't have the skills to get the absolute lowest price on a car, but I trust Subaru Montreal not to fleece me - and I don't really begrudge them their living, they work hard for it. Chino is always there when I have questions, and everyone I dealt with wanted me to walk away happy. They've got my loyalty!

This is a short and straight review about our second experience buying car at Subaru Montreal.

Should you ask for Chino when you are buying your car: YES
Why: He gave us what we asked, rebate on the car, good price on the trad in vehicle, replaced parts that is used up and full tank of fuel at delivery.
1 week later we e-mailed him because we heard weird noise from the car. He got back to us the next morning and told us to call Rory at service and everything will be arranged and that is what happened (nothing was charged).

We bought our second hand Impreza at Subaru Montreal. We are very satisfied with the service provide by Ilan Rubier. I'm a picky customer, not only Ilan is very patent, he also satisfy our needs every time. If you bought a used Subaru at Subaru Montreal, not only they replace pieces that needs to replace (at their cost) they also give you a full tank when you come to pick up your car! I will recommend this dealership to people who is looking for a new/used Subaru.

Very disappointed with this dealer. The service was courteous at the first visit, during which I was able to try a Crosstrek 2019. Enthused by the vehicle, I asked the seller to give me a quote, then announced that I would take a few days to think about it. Two days later, I came back, determined to buy a vehicle. In trying to see if it was possible to get a better price, the salesman tells me that the price he gave me before was wrong, and that payments would be higher by $ 20 per month. Surprised and disappointed by this announcement, I asked to speak to the manager, who came to tell me dryly that the best she could do was winter tires, and that anyway this vehicle was so much in demand that she did not need to give me a discount. Too bad, I really liked this vehicle but the confusion over the price and the rigid approach of the management pushes me to shop at another manufacturer this week.

Très déçu de ce concessionnaire. Le service fut courtois à la première visite, lors de laquelle j’ai pu essayer un Crosstrek 2019. Emballé par le véhicule, j’ai demandé au vendeur de me faire un prix, puis annoncé que j’allais prendre quelques jours pour y réfléchir. Deux jours plus tard, je suis revenu, bien décidé à acheter un véhicule. En tentant de voir s’il était possible d’obtenir un meilleur prix, le vendeur m’annonce que le prix qu’il m’avait donné auparavant était erroné, et que les paiements allaient être plus élevés de 20$ par mois. Surpris et déçu par cette annonce, j’ai demandé à parler à la gérante, qui est venue me dire sèchement que le mieux qu’elle pouvait faire était des pneus d’hiver, et que de toute façon ce véhicule était tellement en demande qu’elle n’avait pas besoin de me faire de rabais. Dommage, j’aurais vraiment aimé ce véhicule mais la confusion quant au prix et l’approche rigide de la direction me pousse à magasiner chez un autre fabriquant cette semaine.

J ai rarement eu un aussi mauvais service.

Ils te disent un truc au telephone et te disent une autre quand tu est sur place. Le personel est te parle en anglais par defaut. Ca prend 3h30 faire un changement d'huile je suis tanner de cette place la le pire c est que j ai pas le choix parce que mon auto fait partie d'une flotte corporative et he dois aller la et c est le brodel à chaque fois.

Unfortunately, my car ended up in a car crash (not my fault!) and it was written off as a total loss. While the whole experience was horrible, Subaru - and in particular Chino Doan - made going through the process of purchasing my new car as good as it could have been. Chino took the time to listen to my situation, do what he could, and made sure the used car I chose to go with was in top shape. I am very happy with the service I received and know that, should any issues arise, I will be well taken care of.

Amazing experience we were going to check out the Crosstrek, wanting to change to smaller from our 2011 Forester, and after meeting Steven Lutfy, he took his time to explain, listen and to look at what we could get as a deal for us.would we love a better price have more for our old Subaru of course, but this is our 5th Subaru so we know we get what we pay for. We decided on the Forester 2019 and within a week took possession! Our sparkling diamond is now ours what a drive! Bought a Subaru impreza here. Very easy and fast purchase! I was with Steven Lutfy for the purchase and he really guided us through everything the whole time. A great service. I will definitely come back for my next car.

UPDATE 2: After-sales service and parts are a lot worse than sales. I currently have a WRX and an Impreza and I was looking for a fog light cover for my car. This WRX was obtained from another Subaru dealership. However, when I was calling Subaru Montreal for parts, not only was I on hold for 20 minutes and then somehow transferred to service (where I had to wait another 10), the parts representative was extremely rude and made the experience uneasy for me. I ended up going to another dealership to buy my parts. Subaru Montreal also doesn't reply to emails regarding part quotes while every other dealership I email gets back to me within the next 2 hours. Similar cases have also occurred when I was looking for parts or needed assistance with my Subaru Impreza.

In all, Subaru Montreal makes it a great experience to buy a car but the overall after-sales experience has really prevented me from going back.

Part of our move from China to Montreal involved buying a car. I wanted a vehicle with four wheel drive which narrowed things a bit. A friend suggested Subaru, which was a brand that I had never dealt with let alone having driven one. I set off to Subaru Montreal with my three year old daughter in tow. This was going to be fun! Steven Lufty, mon vendeur était courtois et connaissant, mais j'ai senti qu'il mettait un peu de pression en fin de transaction. Il s'est repris lors de la prise de possession durant laquelle il a pris le temps de bien m'expliquer plusieurs points importants. Aussi, la F&I n'a pas mis de pression pour me vendre des assurances et des services additionnels. Si je rachète un Subaru, est-ce que je magasine de nouveau chez Subaru Montréal avec Steven Lufty? Certainement! Est-ce que je ne magasine ailleurs aussi; possiblement.
