Sun Life Building

Superbe "gratte-ciel" du début du XXème siècle édifié pour le compte de la compagnie d'assurances "Sun Life" qui en fit son siège social jusqu'en 1978.
Rénové en 2013, ce centre de conférences offre des espaces de travail contemporains.
Pour la petite histoire, les coffres forts de la compagnie d'assurance protégèrent la réserve d'or de la Banque d'Angleterre lors du second conflit mondial.

Gorgeous interior, excellent and professional staff and marvelous services available even if you aren't a native employee. The Italian cafe on the ground floor, Peroni, is fantastic!

We went to Peronis to see a Saturday night comedy show. The food was good, the staff were great and the show was funny.

Astonishing building. Could say it's the most magnificent in town. Once the largest structure within British Empire. During WW2 the gold and bonds of British government were stored in a secret safe in the basement of the building.

Looking at this 100 year old building from the park across the street, steps away from the weed store at the corner, can't get better than that.

It's a well maintained building. Never had any problem in there and the staff is always very friendly.

Fantastic building in a great location, gorgeous architecture inside and out. Only confusing bit can be the elevator bank where the elevator usage is split between floor groupings (e.g. One set goes to 1-12, another set goes to 14-22).

Impressionnant et imposant edifice du centre-ville de Montréal. Il abrite plusieurs commerces et bureau.

When it opened, the 26-storey structure was the tallest building in Canada. It was also the biggest building in the entire United Kingdom. 100 years ago.

Building with a real history! Did you know in the basement they kept gold from UK during the II World War! I would work in this building!
