Super C

It's frustrating waiting for cashier. Nobody (staff) to control line up distribution of clients to cashiers.
Anybody buts in, instead of waiting in line for a signal of staff.

This place finally installed self checkout system! I'm very happy to see this change. They used to have only 2~4 cashiers working, so lineup was crazy. Price is average and quality may vary depending on the day you visit this store. Overall, I have a great experience here.

Good place but they are always out of stuff that I'm looking for, it always looks empty like no one is working

Rotten fruits and cashier with terrible attitudes. I don’t know, but I am Asian so probably they treat other people better?

Another day, I saw a cashier yelling at a Chinese customer who wanted to buy a lottery and doesn't speak very well English.

C est moins sécuritaire que la première vague. Exemple, nous prenons nos paniers dehors et seulement avant d entrer le panier est nettoyé par une préposée. Il y a un laisser allé. Il y a d autre chaîne alimentaire qui son beaucoup plus sécuritaire.

Jai rentrer la en sous vetements et ils on rien dit. La caissiere a trouver ca ben drole. Le savon a main sent pire que mon fond d'culotte!

A good store in general. Since Covid, they do not offer rainchecks and often run out of items that are on sale.

Finally, the younger staffs does not seem to care much for the customers. I asked a clerk if they had an item in stock and his answer was "I don't know" and that was it.

Lots of space between customers. Easily found what I was looking for since it was my first time there.

I had to drop off a FedEx package, and after waiting in line I was told it wasn't going to be possible because they were very busy - the person at cash 6 does it (not the person behind d the counter of the fedex service area?) but probably there was no chance today because they were really busy; it wasn't that bad. In total there were about 15 people in all the lines. I understand being busy but I should be able to wait, at least, to complete the service that by all indication online was in nominal operation at this location. I opted to go into the store and wait in line as though i was buying groceries so that i could have my turn. After waiting in that line an exasperated soul resigned themselves to drag their form over, at great effort, and wave the scanner over my prepaid, prepackaged CD case sized shipment. I had to wait in three different lines, turns out the fedex trained cashier was actually at cash 5, was told it was going to happen today unless I asked and was lucky and the whole thing took about 45 minutes. It was a very simple ask, at a semi-busy time and just wasn't handled properly for something FedEx litterally pays the business to do. I'd give 1 star, but I was able to do what I needed after enough waiting, and a little insistence.

Nobody respects social distancing & the few directional arrows on the floor. It would be hygienic if the cashier's would clean the conveyor belt as is done at the IGA next door. I will not be returning for a long while. It seems that the employees do not care if the customers follow the arrows on the floor.terrible.

Large selection, and good discounts. With the low prices, it is hard to control the customers and stocking of produce.

Probably the worst customer experience I have had at a grocery store. A lady who apparently works there (she said so) passed me in the line towards checkout. I asked her why she took my turn and she said that "she works there and she knows that one can choose whichever checkout one wants" although there was a single line with distancing marks and every next client was going to the first available cashier. Then she told the girl at the cash that she asked me to move and I did not. When I said she did not say such thing a young guy who works there (I think he collects the carts outside) told me to "stop barking and calm down". Obviously the manager does not know how clients are treated at this store when she is not there. I am making an official complaint. This is absolutely unacceptable.

J'ai tout trouvé ce que je voulais. Par contre à la caisse, il y avait une file de près de 30 personnes. Au début de mon attente, seulement 2 caisses d'ouvertes. Par la suite, 2 autres caisses ont été ouvertes. Aucun employé ne gérait la file d'attente. Plein de gens coupait la file. Les clients en file devaient eux même aviser les gens de faire la file. Attente de 15 minutes pénible.

Confusion aux caisses dû a la Covid. Il n'y a personne pour nous diriger. Une énorme perte de temps.

Doing good and doing wonders. Though, i did see a few customers complaining about lack of variety in halal meat section. Take action and serve communities.

Can be totally hit or miss. Pretty much a one-stop, turn-key stop for everything from produce to beer.

Not much you cant find here. Lots of parking. Can frequently be busy at peak hours, and there are rarely more than a few cashiers working

Très déçu. Ne peut accepter bouteille de 18 lt d eau car il ne vende supposément cette marque? De plus caissière enrumher et de très mauvais poils. Vraiment je vais aller ailleurs. Sur Champlain ils ont pris la bouteille. J en au repris 2

I love super C! They changed so much in last few years.they have good quality food at good price specially their vegetables! The store is clean and organised! Staffs are friendly.their hours are good too! I recommand it

I went to SuperC yesterday evening and bought some oranges and clementines off of their quick sale rack and for the first time I was totally disappointed with the oranges. This morning I woke up and went into my kitchen and open the bag and to my dismay discovered that a few of them have gone bad. I took them all out of the plastic bag and placed them on the counter for further examination. To my discovery that was not present in the store they had disguised the bad oranges by placing the good side where the eyes of the customer could see and then tied the plastic bag firmly together. I was going to throw out the bad ones and keep the rest but on second thought this morning I had left them same place on the counter and went about my day. This evening I promptly returned them to the store and received my money back. Next time I review them I will deduct one star.

Something that stands out about this particular Super C is the meat section. They have Pork, Chicken, beef and Horse meat. They also offer the lard for purchase, which is great! This place has the typical Super C smell but I guess that is something they can't control but it is not great. They have sooo much parking space but it is a small walk from where the street where the bus would drop you off (a bit long if it's cold out). Also, you have to pay for your bags. Another nice thing is they have an organic section and a bakery at the back where u can have customized backed goods. I like this place I try to come here anytime I need meat. However, they don't carry "Coconut Dream" coconut milk. But they have all the other "Dream" product (I.e. Almond Dream), just not the coconut one for some reason. That would be the only downside that I can find about this place.

Pros:
Don't go when it's busy and check out is fast.
Plenty of parking.
Lotto Quebec is right out front of the Super C.
Most aisles are well organized and neat.
Cons:
Good Luck finding someone, and if you do, better luck getting them to help you.
When at peak times, check out is slower, much slower than average.

J'aime bien cette épicerie toujours des produits frais et les employés offrent la plus part du temps un très bon service a la clientèle.

They cannot supply basic kitchen sponges or Scothbrite Soapwand refills. Every other grocery & department store has them!

Les fruits et légumes ne sont pas toujours frais. Variété de produit limité. Pas trop d'attente à la caisse.

Had a couple of verbal altercations in the past with 2 particular floor clerks. These same clerks seem to be rude and disrespectful towards customers in general, I dont know how management tolerates such a negative behavior, but then again I always see a help wanted sign at the entrance!
Dans le passé j'ai déjà eu des altercations verbales avec 2 commis de plancher en particulier. Ils Sembleraient être aussi irrespectueux et grossiers avec la clientèle en général. On se demande comment l'administration peut tolérer un pareil comportement envers ses clients, mais bon c'est pas pour rien qu'il y a toujours des offres d'emploi affichées à la porte!

Tres propre et bien organisé. Tout le personnel est sympathique et courtois ils travaillent toujours avec le sourire et donne un tres bon service à la clientèle! Je vous le recommande et les prix et qualités sont excellent!

C'est une place que je suis habituée d'aller mais ce vendredi 27 juillet c'est pas très brillant d'avoir qu'une seule caisse plus la caisse rapide sous prétexte que c'est les vacances de la construction

Le Super C sur Newman est d'une bonne dimension. Il y a de bon prix et les articles sont bien placé. Parfois il est difficile de trouver le prix d'un produit, car il n'y a pas d'affiche. Cette épicerie contient une section Biologiqie.

Super C ma un comme client car dernièrement Super C à décidé dengage des femme pourtant le voile.pathétique alors quand je voie set femme voiler, je retourne vers maxi ou Giga.ou autre super c ailleurs.très déçu de superc

Service is not always top, often not even a hi, they are like any other grocery cashiers, talking in between themselves, ignoring the customer, and acting like robots all day long
