This is certainly the greatest pants shopping experience I’ve ever had. The salesperson eyeballed my size and style and suggested amazing picks right away. And they also tapered the leg to the fit I wanted for free, on the spot. It’s evident these guys know what they’re doing.

Prices are great, service is top notch, staff is awesome. There's a reason they've been around almost 100 years. Go there, you will not regret it!

This place is the best and the staff here knows jeans. Make this your first stop. Plus they taper if needed at no extra charge.

I've been coming back to this store year after year and can't say enough good things about it! The owners have been in the business for generations and they know their stuff! They find me great looking jeans super quick and hem the length in minutes, for free! I love these guys! Highly recommended!

My last trip to this place was simply horrible. Here is the full story.

I used to go to this place once a while to buy a couple jeans over several years. There used to be elderly folks, very friendly.

A couple months ago during a weekend I went there with a friend, this time there was two mode middle aged guys. I asked (in English) for help showing the jeans on me which I had bought from there previously. I simply asked something similar, fit and grayish-black color jeans. They showed me some jeans but they were pitch black, I was looking for something similar on me. When I shared that with them, the guy in front of the store smirked and said "black is black".

Anyway, I took a couple jeans and went to the changing cabin, the first one I tried was very baggy. When I shared that and asked if there is something more fitting, again smirking. This time the other middle aged guy also joined to the disrespectful smirking.

A went back to the cabin, put back my clothes on without trying the rest and left the place with the intention of never returning. These guys, not sure if they are the new owner or their children or simply new employee, do not deserve to be in business. I used to recommend this place to my friends but never again.

However, like all stories, my story also ended well but at a different location. I end up buying what I really needed during my trip to Japan a few weeks afterwards with amazing customer experience.

Don't go to this place and reward their rude behaviour. There are many other stores with better customer experiences.

This place is exactly the kind of shop I love to find when visiting a new city. Small and unassuming, yet a jewel of a find. They have an amazing selection of jeans and jean jackets, and the fact that the staff is so friendly and funny is the cherry on the cake. It's also wonderful to see generations of family running a business and working together.

I left with perfect jeans, and a new fall jacket, and couldn't be happier. Next time I'm in Montreal, I will hit this store again for sure!

I have been going there ever since I was 12. I hope I won't have to go anywhere else to by myself some jeans.

I don't think I have owned or worn a pair of jeans in around 8 years that have felt comfortable or fit me correctly. I dreaded going pants shopping and have avoided it until now. It only took the owner 2 or 3 pairs to find ones they fit my thighs comfortably and I bought two pairs at amazing prices (they even put hip darts in one of the pairs on the spot and for free!). I have already recommended this place to friends and will likely be back again and again.

This place is absolutely amazing! I used to go with my parents as a teen and now brought my daughter to get jeans when in town to visit my parents. My teen daughter is teeny and we never find jeans that fit. From the minute we walked in the experience was amazing! The salesperson who helped us knew her size and style the minute he took one look at her without asking any questions. We walked out with three pairs of jeans that fit her so well. My memories were spot on. Highly highly recommend!

Ma mère m’amenait magasiner à cet endroit quand j’étais toute petite quand j’avais besoin de jeans.
Ça faisait au dessus de vingt ans que je n’y étais pas allée. Et quelle belle surprise de revoir les mêmes visages chaleureux qui m’ont accueilli à nouveau et ce, même après 20 ans!

J’ai rien eu à dire (à part là couleur voulue), Mitch m’a juste demandé d’enlever mon manteau et j’étais déjà à la cabine d’essayage avec 3 pantalons qui ont « fitté » à merveille du premier coup. Le temps de me changer, les bords de pantalons étaient déjà coupés sur mesure et j’étais prête à passer à la caisse!

Pas pour rien qu’ils sont encore ouverts après 96 ans! Allez visiter Mitch et Paolo sur Ste-Catherine coin St-Laurent. En plus d’encourager l’économie locale et d’économiser du temps vous découvrirez des gens vraiment amicaux et professionnels!

For a person who hates shopping and who's picky this place is a godsend. I hadn't worn jeans in years because I always have trouble finding something that fits and that won't go out of fashion. I came in and 15 minutes later I had 2 pairs of jeans with hems done. You just tell them what you're looking for. They will get it for you in the right size (you are not the size you think you are). The prices are also fair. From now on this is the only place I will go to buy jeans.

Very friendly staff and a great selection of jeans. I asked for the style and colors that I wanted and I was given pairs of jeans that fit perfectly like magic. It was so easy to shop with them! Plus, the length is altered free of charge!

J'adore cette boutique au look vintage. Dès que vous entrez, le vendeur vous sort exactement le pantalon qu'il vous faut. Les ourlets sont faits gratuitement et sur le moment. Vous repartez avec des pantalons costauds, de qualité et qui vous vont comme des gants. J'adore!
