Went for lunch today. Very casual eatery with about a dozen tables up front.

We went to the butcher counter at the back to ask how to order. They mostly spoke Spanish and said they’d be right over to our table, which they were.

We ordered bowls of beef soup and a Guatemalan, chicken, tamale. Absolutely superb…all of it.

We used a little of the hot sauce at the table to spice up the savory soup. Made it even better.

The tamale was wrapped in a green leaf (banana?) instead of corn husk like I’m used to. Super moist and delicious.

What a find if you’re looking for Mexican or Central American fare served in a fast casual environment.

We had breakfast here my girlfriend and I. Our portions weren't very warm when the food arrived, my gf had to ask the waitress to heat again her meal. On my side I didn't mind it too much but it could had been better. Beside that, it was a typical breakfast you would find in those restaurants, for the price it was ok.

Les tamales goutent la diarrhée, c’est vraiment pas bon, je ne donnerais même pas ça à un chien sans abris.
