Sushi Nanami

NAN and her sister always welcome us with a big smile and the dishes are the best, and they also spoil us with their best suggestions.

Very good takeout, but leaving a 5 star especially for their incredible hospitality and service!
My partner and I arrived a bit early for our takeout order (there was a big snow storm) and we got served a warm cup of tea and a small amuse-bouche while we waited for our order to be ready. You don’t get genuinely kind service like this these days. Food was very good, fresh and reasonably priced as well!

Overprice et les ingrédients étaient cheaps! J'ai tout de suite reconnu le saumon et le thon décongelé dans les sushis. Très décevant.

Quand je veux manger la meilleure Sushi Pizza, je vais chez Sushi Nanami!

Le service est jovial et bienveillant, les repas sont frais et savoureux, pis les prix sont raisonnables.

J'habite sur la Rive-Nord maintenant, mais ça me manque tellement de retrouver ce degré de qualité dans mes commandes sushi/poke/bubble tea/etc.

Toutes les occasions sont bonnes pour faire le détour quand je descends à Montréal.

Sérieux, le monde qui run cette place sont absolument incroyables! Je suis rentrée pour me prendre des sushi sur le pouce pis jsuis ressortie avec des amis!

Fantastic sushi, Super friendly staff and they had Bob Marley playing in the background, what more can you ask! Recommended and definitely going back.

The best sushi I’ve had! The chefs and host were the sweetest and it gave me the best experience. The deluxe sushi plate made me discover new kinds of sushis and was absolutely PERFECT. I am super full and happy!

Update 2022: we’re finally back after 3 years and we were greeted and treated like royalty to a spectacular (and bountiful) meal. Thank you Raoul, Irin and Nam! It was so delicious and you made us feel so welcome.

Très décevant. Riz pas assez cuit, pas de gingembre ni de wasabi.

The food was very good and service as well. They were really invested in helping us chose an order we would like and preparing it. Loved their tempura shrimp with spicy mayo sauce as an appetizer Would definitely go back. Only downside is that it is a small seating area but if it’s not busy it shouldn’t be an issue.

Add no idea you could make 22 pcs of sushi with no almost no fish (classic combo, they have 2 higher option). Also got charges 5$ or so for delivery fees when I call directly to the restaurant, if I'd knew I'd order at a delivery service with lower fees, hidding fees, not cool! Will not reorder unless I want fried chicken wrap a Nori

Excellent sushis, portions généreuses. Les poissons sont frais et goûtent le poisson (et non l'eau, comme dans beaucoup d'autres endroits). Encore excellent le lendemain (chose exceptionnelle). Merci mille fois?

Service too slow and food is not prepared well.staff is not professional at last i don’t recommend anyone to go there. I advise to them don’t accept the orders if they can’t prepare on time.don’t waste time of customers

This place needs to work on it's customer service.

My friend and I went to this shop last week and omg, their fish is so fresh! We couldn’t get enough of their salmon and tuna sashimi! It melts in your mouth! Do not underestimate this shop! You will have an amazing experience with them! Also, we shared a box of 16 pieces of sushi (Royal) and surprisingly, we received 4 extra pieces! You guys made our day! The service is amazing. Royally messed up our order.

After we left a bad review, they told us they'd reimburse us in store. Once we got there, they were violently cursing at us for leaving a bad review.

Is this their way of bullying people into rating 5-stars? I wonder how many of these reviews are genuine.

If I could rate this place lower than 1-star, I would. Avoid at all costs.

We ordered from this restaurant a big order on UberEats. They COMPLETELY messed up the order in every possible way. So we left a bad review on UberEats. The owner called me and nicely asked me to come to his resto to reimburse me the order. When I showed up, instead, he switched to a super angry and aggressive tone, started yelling at me, calling me all kinds of insults and telling me to F off because I left a bad review. So I guess he's asking for more bad reviews.

How does this place have that many good reviews? Terrible way of dealing with their clients. Your money is better spent elsewhere.

Awesome sushi and quality but most of all a great service and presentation, i loved the food and the vibes ill surely be back, and i finished my extra wasabi ^^

Sushi Nanami turned an otherwise fun evening with friends into a bad one. After botching most of our order (missing and/or wrong items), the owner called us and invited us to the restaurant to reimburse us in person-only he never intended to make it right by us. It was a ruse to lure us so he could spew hateful and shameful comments. I'm shocked that anyone would go to such lengths, and for what? Extremely disappointed.

Ive been to so many sushi places and none of them compare to this one. Gourmet level experience for takeout, it doesn't get better than this. You must try it out, the staff is amazing and the overall experience won me over!

Service à la clientèle impeccable! Une équipe dynamique, accueillante et à l'écoute de sa clientèle! Les sushis sont délicieux. Le poisson est frais et de qualité! Ça fond dans la bouche! Ce sont les meilleurs sushis que j'ai goûté!

Les sushis sont excellents et originaux et les portions généreuses. L'équipe est adorable et ils m'ont même offert une soupe miso quand je suis partie. C'est la première fois que je viens et je le recommande (j'ai déjà envie de repasser commande à peine une semaine après. Oups).

Les meilleurs sushis et les meilleurs Poké bowl que j'ai mangé Le personnel est super sympa.
Je ne m'en lasse pas, si je pouvais en manger tous les jours, je le ferai!

Completely messed up our order. Our order came up to 150$ and 1/3 of our order was missing. The other 1/3 they did not even follow any of the notes provided on uber. Very very disappointed.

Best sushi place i have ate in a long time. Awsome and friendly staff. A bit expensive but the fish qualité is mindblowing. Nothing compare to the sushi Shop take out or other take out places. Much better than a lot of sushi restaurant i have been. The owner is super generous ask your name, présent his staff give you a hot tea. Even when in a rush.
Love this place. Treat yourself and encourage local restaurants.

Really good, high quality and fresh food, made with a lot of love and care. We usually get a combo or poké bowls with bubble tea (super tasty and not too sweet!). Highly recommend!:)

It was an amazing surprise. Delicious specialties, excellent quality of sashimi. Friendly staff, good price. We tried the Royal combo and they suggested us exactly what we were looking for. This restaurant is definitely a place to try!

We ordered the classic plate for 3. We were so disappointed when we realized all of it included fake crab and egg omelettes. We were not informed of this ahead of time and for a restaurant that offers no menu for their customers, this info seems important to provide upfront. This is not a serious sushi restaurant, none of the rolls provided were good.

Je me suis régalée avec la boîte deluxe 16 morceaux.ils ont pris en compte mes allergies et ont même retourné le coursier puisqu’il manquait les sauces dans ma livraison (avec en prime une surprise pour les excuses). Autant la dame au téléphone que le coursier ont été très aimable. Je vais savoir où commander pour mon prochain craving. Merci Sushi Nanami

Amazing experience! They added a tuna tataki, an extra roll with tuna in it, and our mini-kamis had 13-15 pieces instead of 8. We ordered something like 36-40 pieces, and actually got 50-55 which was an amazing, unexpected bonus that made us feel very welcomed.

The girl who took our order was very nice and polite, and the chef was really nice and explained to us which sushi was which.

And the actual sushis were delightful too! They were super tasteful, with big pieces of fish. We will definitely be coming back!

Le sushi Nanami se démarque vraiment des autres restaurants de sushi. Le chef et les employés sont sympathiques et passent leur temps a discuter avec les clients et faire goûter des morceaux délicieux qui sont parfois offert par le chef lui même.
La nourriture est de très bonne qualité et reçoit souvent un peu plus de morceaux qu'indiqué dans le menu.

Delicious, fresh sushi! The chef knows what he’s doing and he’s really good. It transpires to the whole team resulting in top quality service and awesome food.

I ordered for pickup and the menu they post online is incorrect - on a $60 order, they charged me $75 and acknowledged they needed to update the menu. They didn't feel the need to honor the price. I didn't want to haggle with them at that specific moment. On top of that, I twice asked for a bag to wrap my order up, the person at the cash asked me if I really needed one.turns out I did as I dropped my order on the floor with the flimsy containers. They didn't provide or even offer chopsticks, napkins, so I was glad to eat whatever sushi I had left over with my fork.

Just a bad experience overall. Sushi was generally above average, but the customer service portion needs significant work. Hopefully they see this and will improve! Willing to give them a shot again if I hear it's better!

Excellent! Je ne suis vraiment pas fan de sushi, mais mon copain en raffole. Depuis qu'il ma fait connaître Nanami, j'aime les sushis, mais seulement ceux-là!:)
