Sushi Ste-Catherine

They filled up two people per booth and then when I asked for a booth with my girl he said it’s for big groups? But what pissed me off is that he laughed at my girls face when she asked… I run a business myself and I would never do something of this manner to my customers. I will never come back and I will not be tipping lol. Also instead of android tablets to order they have a menu board with paper and pencil, I don’t really know my sushi how would a person new to this could possibly imagine what to get… their attitudes do not deserve business

Plusieurs fois j'ai manger des sushis dans plusieurs restaurants
avec le temps, mais la j'arrive a ce merveilleux restaurant qui s'appelle Sushis Ste-Catherine.

La cuisine n'est pas mauvaise, quoi qu'il y a place a l'amélioration. Ils ont oublier certaine commande. Un plus la liqueur est incluse dans le menus et est a volonté. Se que nous n'avons pas aimée, c'est qu'ils ne prennent que les cartes de crédits. Ils ne le marque a nul part, que c'est crédit seulement. Se n'est pas tout le monde qui ont une carte de crédit. De plus le guichet était hors d'usage.
Ça ne caut pas le détour.

Terrible service i ordered some salmon and it was little pieces of salmon on big balls of rice i asked for no rice they came with rice so i left the rice on the side and the server said i should eat the rice because his manager wouldnt like to see that i left it on the side. Escuze me? Am i 5 years old? I didnt even feel like ordering any more stuff at that point.

My experience was disappointing. I ordered seafood noodles, got exactly that. The place seemed unclean, and there was an odd smell. I wouldn't recommend spending $25.99 here.

I went in for take-out on a busy Saturday night. I had chicken roll and yam roll. The yam felt slightly undercooked (sweet potato) but food was good.

I thought service was super friendly. My food wasn’t ready yet when I went to pick-up so I went outside. Within 3-4 minutes someone came out and brought it to me.

We always eat to much. Good service, mango ice cream and great sushi rice. Prices have gone up

So many things wrong with this place.we came as a group of 7 so a 15% tip is already included in the bill, but if we had the chance we'd tip 0

- the salmon tastes old
- the sauce they give with spring rolls is ketchup.
- the waiter spilled miso soup on my hand and didn't apologize or bring napkins to wipe up
- either food missing or more than we ordered
- red bean ice cream is strawberry ice cream with red bean pieces and has no taste
- the waiter gave me attitude when HE missheard me
- they only accept credit or cash and don't tell u in advance

we were given little to no service, the waiter was very rude and dismissive.they were almost throwing the food on the table.we didn't get any water refills either and my friend had to wait 40mins to get her soft drink.

Since I was so tired and hungry I didn't read the phrase " all you can eat " on top of the menu and I never read the menus from beginning to the end. It was the only menu on the table I took it and ordered some sushi and after eating my meal I sat there for half an hour. It was absolutely clear for them that I'm not aware of the buffet menu but they didn't tell me any thing and at the end charged me $80 while I had payed $10 before for the same meal in this restaurant from a regular menu. It was my second time that I was in this restaurant and didn't know that there's 2 kinds of menu. I explained the manager that I've made mistake and I didn't know It was buffet and it's not fair to pay this fee for some sushi.but he didn't understand my mistake and accept to charge me less and treated unresentful and rude. I'll never come back there again since it was my worst restaurant experience in whole my life.

Be aware nobody will tell you that it's buffet today but they'll charge you buffet price. Be cause some days it's buffet and some days no. No body will listen to you or respect you as a customer.

Everything about this place sucks, the plates, glasses and utensils were dirty, the service is terrible; you will be ignored by every server and the owner. The food is decent but the orders come with extra items you didn't order or items missing. You have to keep track of what you ordered because they will send out literally anything they feel like. The owner is very rude, he tried to blame us for missing items, and also lied about there being no more teriyaki beef saying it was frozen and would take 2 hours to defrost at 5pm. Don't waste your money here.

This place is a real scam. My wife had told me she was there a few times, and it was a regular service restaurant (no buffet).
I went there with my wife and my mother-in-law.when we wanted the bill, we noticed that they charged us $120 for just 24 small pieces of sushi. (The regular price is just $30 for 24 pieces).
When we asked why? They simply said today was buffet and we charged each person $40. They never told us it was a buffet. Even when we asked why the menu was different that day, the waitress never mentioned anything. The manager also was very rude, he never tried to return at least part of our money or even to respect or apologize.please stay away otherwise you will end up falling into this trap.

Some of the worst service I’ve ever gotten at a restaurant. I went with 6 other people on a Monday evening and had to wait 40 mins between plates despite them offering all you can eat. Realistically unless you want to be there for 3+ hours you can only get 2 dishes, which for sushi is not really a full meal. They also added a gratuity of 15% which seems insane for a group of 7. I’ve worked at several restaurants and have never heard of an auto grat for parties smaller than 10 or 12. The whole thing just seemed terribly greedy and like they were trying to give us the least amount of food possible and then scalp us with an auto gratuity because they knew their service didn’t warrant any tips. It’s also not like it was a Friday night and the restaurant was busy! I’m honestly shocked they’re still in business. Definitely go somewhere else if you have the option.

This is by far my worst All you can eat Sushi restaurant experience in Montreal.
The service was bad, took 20 minutes before the waitress finally came to take our order sheet. And that was just the beginning.
The majority of the food was bad: Sushi didn't taste fresh, the fried tempuras were undercooked, not even warm by the time they were served! Same thing for the fried squid. They even gave us a refill of.warm water!

The only things that were decent was the Ramen and Udon.

The staff just seem to not care about the customers. Is the owner even aware?

Pls avoid, there's so many better restaurants in Montreal where you'll get great food and service.
Should have read the reviews before going in.

Oh my God this restaurant need to be close Right now the food is really bad nothing is really bad nothing cooked the sushi is disgusting this discussing this restaurant need to be closed
