Sushi Taxi

Very nice food. Fairly expensive, but typical sushi price I think. We were the only ones there at the time, so service had no trouble dealing with us, but they weren't that enthused. It's understandable.

Stay away from this place! Really disgusting sushi definitely not fresh, poor quality the full order went straight in the garbage definitely not sashimi quality a horrible rude owner definitely my first and last time there that’s for sure! Good luck to you if you decide to eat there after reading this review.

I ordered tuna tartar and it was 5 out of 10- no flavour, no spicy. Then I ordered maki Kamikaze salmon and Neptune roll with eel it was 1 out of 10 the worst sushi I've ever had by far. Each roll was a jumble of flavours and very dry old rice. Almost NO FISH in the makis and roll. For my question were the fish in the food? The waiter said that they will put fish next time. No any discounts was offered for bad quality and bad experience. Service 4 out of 10. Just awful. Spent about 70 dollars with tips. I'm really disappointed. Never go there!

Le monsieur qui faisait mon rouleau de printemps a interrompu le tout pour aller chercher une boite pour emballer. Puis il a touché a la porte menant a sa cuisine et est retournée toucher a mon rouleau pour le serrer, sans changer de gants!
Une chance que je n'ai pas peur des microbes, mais ce n'est pas hygienique! Pour ces raisons je donne 1 etoile!

I love this joint. I always go for the chefs special and has never disappointed me. While the sushi is good Soupe Repas Coco Thai is my favourite from the menu

I had a horrible experience the waiter was rude and failed to tell the chef about my allergies. The food was not so fresh and not so tasty! If your planning on goin on a date AVOID THIS RESTAURANT.

I had the Makifolie on a Wednesday evening. It was alright, it's a chef's choice 15 piece meal where you get 3 different types of sushi. Expect 5/15 to be fried. I question the sushi I got in the middle column which contained jam, to my surprise it wasn't too bad but I would definitely consider a less sweet alternative.

I ordered the 14-piece Shogun box tonight. I could not finish it. This was the worst sushi I've ever had by far. Each roll was a jumble of flavours and textures, each more horrific than the last. Just awful. I realize the description says the Shogun box is creative, but I didn't realize what I was getting into. I had such a craving for sushi, I'm really disappointed.

Last sunday, I ordered the sunday special and it was absolutly disgusting. The sushis were clearly a few days old with no taste. The rice was dry and the fish wasn't fresh. I sent an email to their headoffice but didn't get a reply and I wasted 80$. Never again

Je commande à ce restaurant depuis plusieurs années et le service est toujours exceptionnel et les sushis sont délicieux!

Ce sont de très bons sushis! Un peu plus extravagants que les autres restaurants du genre je dirais. Sans réinventer la roue, ils ont leur recettes propres. C'est respectable! Service courtois aussi. Une petite place à essayer pour découvrir.

Excellent food, with vegetarian options from the menu that can be adjusted to be made vegan. We had 4 different vegan rolls and they were all great!

I love this place but we ordered one box of regular Maki and one box of cooked Maki because I'm pregnant. They didn't identify the boxes and I ended up eating half of the wrong one before realizing. Please be careful

Depuis quelques années, je suis un client ponctuel de sushi taxi. Dans le passé, je n'ai jamais eu de problème avec vos produits. Cependant hier, j'ai été extrêmement déçu. Premièrement, il n'y avait pas de poisson dans les sushis, et ce, malgré le fait que j'aie commandé une option régulière. Deuxièmement, plusieurs des ingrédients n'étaient tout simplement pas frais et laissaient un goût désagréable en bouche. Finalement, même si j'ai spécifié que je ne souhaitais pas de fromage en crème dans les sushis, 2 makis sur 5 avait cet ingrédient.

Bref, contrairement à votre slogan, je n'ai pas savouré le bonheur hier soir. Il existe trop de bons restaurants de sushis à Montréal pour que je vous donne une 2e chance.

GOOD THINGS: Delicious sushi (Seriously - the best sushi I have ever had), great veggie options, great variety of sushi, super fresh. Again - DELICIOUS.

Warning for Dessert: we ordered online and the dessert was MUCH smaller than what appeared on the site. However, it was SO good. REALLY good.

Unfortunately, the website was not very user friendly and we lost all items in our cart several times. We also wanted to order wine and for some reason, even though it was in our cart, it didnt appear in the online receipt emailed to me. I called and asked if we could order some white wine (assuming it was the white wine on their website for 20$ - They only had ONE option on the site). She asked what kind I wanted (chardonnay, sauvignon etc) so we chose sauvignon. When the delivery came, the wine was 40$! Instead of 20$. I guess I should have asked on the phone for the price but I expected that we'd be getting the same one that was on the website. We were pretty upset but we'll know better for next time.

Creative sushi tasting mixed with some disappointing encounters. Their consistency issues tarnish an otherwise amazing culinary experience (monthly shogun highly recommended!). The service also seems to be going downhill with an "I don't care" attitude unbecoming for Montreal restaurants.

This place would be amazing if quality was consistent. The monthly menu is creative and we're always excited about trying it.

However, service is getting bad.the waitress is moody, not caring much about explaining the menu nor about your experience with the food.

It would be appreciated if you took the time to care about the clients on site and have someone else worry about the deliveries.

I really like this spot, thus I am taking the time to write a comment so the management can maintain the quality.

I’m totally disappointed! In the sushi from this place.the WORST sushi I have ever had! - for 45 dollars I didn’t get even a slightest touch of fish in my rolls. Chefs choice? What’s wrong with the chef? I’m furious about the order, I should have checked what the chef made instead of just blindly taking the order. I felt I was laughed at with what I got for that much money (Never buy chefs choice dishes! Would never recommend this place to any of my friends. I am so upset (
