Swiss Vienna Patisserie

Came by on a Friday around 4: 45pm to pick up carrot cake. They were rushing to close the store and I felt like no one wanted to serve me. Finally after a few minutes somebody came. Some of the desserts looked like a toddler had made them, not very appetizing.
When I went to the cash to pay, a lady gave them a compliment to say that the apple strudel was the best she’s ever had, the cashiers response ‘did you pay for the second loaf? ’.
Another situation, client calls to ask if they can stay open so she can come pick up a special cake order, they said no because they were closing (it was 4: 56pm, so i totally understand since they close at 5), however the bad mouthing that occurred right after they hung up from the staff is a little ridiculous. At least wait until I leave? It was my first time there and maybe last. The store looks really old with crumbs everywhere.
Carrot cake was delicious but not worth going out of my way for it.

I order customised cake but they ruined my theme of party the cake color is totally changed … i take it bcoz last minute i have no option

The woman there was quite rude, my husband took me back there after 50 years, quite sad

I have been enjoying Swiss Vienna buttercream birthday cakes my whole life. This place is the absolute best. No other buttercream birthday cake can compare. Please don’t ever close. And keep Chef Pascal, because apparently he makes the cake the way it should be.

Bread is fantastic, especially pain français and the pumpernickel. If you are European, you'll know what I mean. Sandwiches are delicious too.

I asked to make a Sachard torte for my husband's birthday this weekend and we enjoyed it very much. Thank you!

I was in the store on January 6th 2023. They tried to sell me a strawberry shortcake that looked like someone had dropped it, as one side had collapsed. I also noticed flies on the baked goods on the top shelf of the display case. Just EWW.
