Ta Pâtés

The Lamingtons are so fresh, they're almost if not better than the ones I used to have Down Under! The piecrust is also to die for, it's so flaky and tender. The curry fillings, my favorites, are addictive at first bite and so tasty. One suggestion: could you offer, in the future if possible, frozen pasties? (Meatless, with potatoes, turnips, rutabaga, carrots the usual). Just a thought as there is absolutely nothing like that "Up Above"!

Amazing food from New Zealand! The pie is warm and the filling is flowing. I aske the employee to recommend the most popular one and I got this pie filled with cheese and beef. The melted cheese is flowing in my mouth, which is really satisfying. Besides, the beef is not only the beef. It is cooked nicely so the meat is so soft and the tooth can easily cut them. Last but not the least, price less than 8 dollars makes it a perfect dish.

Actually really good pies - absolutely worth the money. We had them with the mash, mushy peas, and gravy, and it felt like food from back home. The only thing I regret is not coming here sooner!

The sausage rolls are good too! They have a good selection of Australian and British import foods too - Branston Pickle, marmite & vegemite, hob nobs, ambrosia custard, etc.

Simply amazing. Pies are so tasty and the desserts are a dream. As well as the selection of New Zealand/Aussie shelf items.

It took us an hour in peak traffic to travel 25km and it was worth the trip. Delicious pies and very friendly service. Will return when we are in that area again.

Picked up two pies here, have to commend that both were excellent! Simple to follow instructions to reheat the pies were wonderfully flakey and delicious. Both the butter chicken and mushroom & beef were great. Pie filling consistency was really good not too dry or too wet. Will be back again in the future! Also, if you are looking for Vegemite or Marmite both are stocked here.

I wasn't sure about this place.all my friends rave about it.let me tell you, best classic pies ever.bought 10 sausage rolls.couldnt even eat a whole.they are HUGE.and falkie pastsy.will go back.price a little high but worth every cent.people super friendly.clean as a whistle.thank very ta pies I will be back.and they deliver.bonus.

Personally, I don't know anything about pies, but I took my Australian here and he felt right at home. The staff was super friendly and he absolutely ADORED the food. It's 100% authentic and made with love, a one of a kind place in mtl. Go check it out if you're curious!

I’ve been to Australia 3 times, and they DO NOT have pies this good. Whenever I go to Ta Pies I get the bakers dozen special and stock up the freezer.

Really good pies here! I was very impressed, there was such an authentic taste to them. Well worth the money I'd say!

Je ne sais pas si c'est l'employeur ou l'employé qui est malhonnête ici.on vient de nous charger automatiquement du TIP dans un comptoir alimentaire. Nous avons souligné la situation en simplement pointant le tip forcé déjà chargé et sans question ils nous l'ont remboursé. La personne avait l'air mal à l'aise comme si c'était pas la première fois. FAITES ATTENTION!

My wife and I have been going to Ta Pies, on and off, for many years. Amazing everything, we initially went to get flat whites and butter chicken pies like we had in Aus. Since our first visit they've expanded their selection a lot and it's still amazing. Try everything. This review is starting to sound very fake, but I have nothing bad to say, even interacting with the owner is a pleasant experience.

Really liked the food and price. Great to just grab and go. The desserts are great as well! Was not disappointed.

Fantastic savory pies. One of our favorite places in Montreal. Terrific for both vegetarians and meat eaters alike.

For us, the curried sweet potato pie is the way to go!

On a trouvé ce lieu par hasard suite à un séjour forcé à Montréal (merci Air Canada) et ce petit resto nous a remontés le moral à bloc les tartes sont exquises, surtout la tarte Cari de légumes et patate douce, elle est incroyable il y a même une petite terrasse pour les savourer. Et cerise sur le gâteau, le gérant est super sympa. Je recommande à 100%!

Don't know if they are authentic, but we don't care. They make delicious pies. We visit often to load up our freezer.
