Tapis d'Orient Bashir

I recently had two rugs cleaned here. They were exceptionally clean when I got them back. I am very satisfied with the service that they provided. They educated me on their thorough cleaning process and provided me with a timeline of when the job would be complete. I appreciated their transparency and their professionalism. I also enjoyed their great sense of humor. I would definitely come back.

If i can give 10 stars i honestly would, wow what an experience my wife and I had at this gem of a place!
Mr.shoja and his son Asif, are the kindest and sweetest people you can meet, so friendly, so professional, so informative and so easy to talk to and deal with. This is my go to place from now on. Beautiful carpets and rugs, amazing quality and great prices.

I honestly urge you, if you want great carpets and rugs, you owe yourself a visit to this place. 10/10

Nous venons de faire nettoyer notre tapis d'Orient en laine à la suite de taches de vin rouge. Le résultat du nettoyage est parfait, le tapis n'a plus aucune tache de vin et les couleurs sont resplendissantes! Un vrai succès! Merci beaucoup Tapis D'Orient Bashir.

I bought a rare 100-year old antique carpet from Mr. Bashir in January 2021. It is very beautiful and I simply love it. The service at the store was very supportive. We were in the covid lock-down which required a great deal of patience. They helped me to have the carpet delivered and it arrived in perfect condition on the correct day. I am very satisfied and would highly recommend this store.

Excellent cleaning service!
I almost throw away our white rug after we'd spilled the red vine on it. However, I decided to try the cleaning service first. How surprised we were when we received back a brand new rug without any spot on it. BTW, we also liked the quality and the great variety of rugs in their shop. Strongly recommend it

Bashir est l'un des plus beaux magasins de tapis en ville. Le propriétaire, un vrai connaisseur rapporte des tapis d'un peu partout, Afghanistan, Inde, Pakistan, fabriqués main. J'ai acheté deux tapis chez eux, dont l'un que j'aurais pu revendre plusieurs fois, tant les gens qui l'ont vu l'aimaient.
Outre la qualité de ses tapis, Bashir affiche un service souple, courtois et sans faille, avec un propriétaire jamais avare de conseils.
Bashir, courez-y, vous n'en reviendrez pas, ou si, avec un tapis!

Buying and choosing the rugs was by far the most enjoyable experience of my furniture shopping. The owner, his son and the staff are extremely helpful and knowledgeable and most importantly patient. Strongly recommended.

I absolutely love this place. By far the best authentic Persian Rug location in Montreal. All their rugs are of amazing quality and the many different styles makes it difficult (in a good way) to properly make a choice. Thank god I was serviced by a great salesman who took care of me from the beginning until the end and made sure I had picked the right rug for my office.

I recently took an oriental off white wool carpet for cleaning and I could not believe what a fantastic job they did, like brand new. Highly recommend Bashir. The staff is extremely friendly and pleasant to deal with. The have a huge selection of beautiful carpets for purchase.

Bashir Persian Rugs is a great place to buy beautiful floor rugs. I met both Mr. Shuja Bashir and his son Asif Bashir. I told Asif want I wanted and he showed me dozens of rugs and I eventually picked one that pleased all my senses (I love Persian rugs). Prices are reasonable and each rug I saw was high quality hand made. We quickly agreed to a sale price and Asif packed the rug and a pad for it.

I arrived at the store about 4: 15 pm and Asif patiently showed me rugs until I found one I wanted to buy. The store closes at 5: 00 pm and all of the staff went home around that time. We concluded my purchase around 6: 00 pm.

I had technical issues with hailing an ride back home on Uber. Asif and Shuja spoke to the Uber driver on the phone, giving him directions to the store (because the Uber app gave the driver my last location by mistake). Asif guided the Uber driver to the store and stayed with me until the Uber driver picked me up.

As it turns out, this store is a 5 minutes walk to a Metro station (the Orange Line). I'm taking the Metro to the store next time I need to buy a rug.

I would highly recommend this store to anyone who wants to buy a beautiful "Persian, " Pakistan, Turkish, rug or rugs that are hand-made in Central Asia countries. Mr. Bahir and his son and their team (consists of long time local Montrealers) are truly expert rugs sellers. Prices are reasonable. There are thousands of rugs to chose from at this lovely, family owned and operated store.
