From my overalls to my new green slubs and 20 ounce COMFY elephants, I have accumulated 13 pairs of Naked and Famous jeans. My hobby is crafting jeans at home in my sewing cave on several industrial machines. I’ve become kinda mental about denim these last few years and sell in small bespoke quantities now. I feel like I should work for N&F soon lol. Their passion and denim creativity is ingenious and accessible. My one complaint: when in hell am I getting the option to buy 32 ounces!? ! This is a major gripe among me and the denim heads in my denim posse.) please please - bring them back asap. My 25 ounce Samurai 25th are fantastic but…they’re just too thin for me. -Chris, SF and Pittsburgh.

I recently ordered a pair of the Naked and Famous Big Slub denim. The online ordering process went smoothly. I requested for inseam reduction and it was granted with no extra charge. I received my denim in the right amount of time, well-packed. It’s beautiful! Fits me very well. Thank you for going the extra-mile!

The Japanese denim here is sick! Well put together denim that are masterpieces waiting for you to leave your mark on them! I love all the Street Fighter editions, and the newest addition to my collection the Blue Thunder denim pants in 17oz. You cannot go wrong with picking up a pair of Naked and Famous denim. Just remember to look at the sizing guide every time you purchase something because they won't all fit the same. I mostly wear the Weird Guy fit in either 36in or 34in, it just depends on the different style or material used. Especially look out for unsanforized denim and read the pre and post soak sizing too.

T&Y charges a flat shipping rate to the US. I ordered a pair of jeans, then a few hours later, decided to place a second order for two more pairs. I asked CS if they could combine the two orders to save on shipping. They quickly replied and accommodated my request. Bravo!

The online store is easy to navigate. The product arrived in a timely fashion and in a bag small enough to fit in my puny apartment mailbox (my postal person is a little lazy about ringing the suite). I do wish that Tate and Yoko displayed prices in Canadian though (it's a small gripe).

I thought the communications were at the right frequency, punctual shipping, and an unexpected nice packaging.

This was my first experience with Naked and Famous, Tate & Yoko as well as raw denim. I went to the store and was very satisfied with the overall level of customer service. They hemmed them for free and when I picked them up had great service from Justin. He helped me choose a kimono which looks amazing. I willl definitely return. Anyone wanting to get into raw selvedge denim I highly recommend Tate & Yoko. They are very helpful and willing to share and help with your journey into selvedge.

Superb denim jeans that often last for a decade or more - fitting better as they're worn.

Jeans were defective, they were an entire size too small versus the sizing guide. Return process was made overly complicated, was told I could only get a gift card and not a refund which isn't legal. Defective products in Canada are grounds for a full refund! They made me take pictures showing the jeans were too small. Doesn't matter. They don't fit! They are new with tag take them back. Bad customer service, pretentious additude. What kind of clothing company doesn't accept returns for unused products? Little bit fishy. Weeks of back and forth and a month later I quiety get refunded? Great thanks. So much for supporting Canadian, very disappointing experience.

Enjoy the brand, enjoy the team, enjoyed the service, and everything you do! This is an incredibly talented company that truly loves what they do and they can’t hide it! My new home for Selvedge Denim.

In general I’d say they respond fast to email inquiries, they ship fast using fedex so you get the stuff in about 5 days to USA, so I’m happy about that. However they really should have better warranty programs for their products since these jeans are so expensive. I like the fact that hemming service and changing the leather patch services are free. However, the hemming of the first pair I bought they hemmed it unevenly and they told me they’d only pay for shipping if they decided that “it’s not within their tolerance. ” Which basically means you’ll have to pay a lot for shipping to get it redone because they can always say it is within the tolerance. Another time the fabric clearly has weaving flaws they said no those are just stitched but offered 30 dollars store credit when I asked for partial refund which they don’t do. I much prefer a lifetime warranty for these jeans like rag and bone in which they send you a free label and will fix your jeans for you any time free of cost for these things because they stand by their product. Also they really need to be more petite/short people friendly because even with the hemming service the fit would be much better if they had versions of their jeans that are shorter and better fitting for short people dimensions to begin with. And also most of their special denim lines don’t have female versions and vast majority of the female versions are zip fly instead of button fly. They really should move towards button fly so it’s more versatile and won’t have that ugly dome look at the crutch.

I bought two pairs, MIJ9 and deadstock red selvedge. My left leg is 1/2" shorter and I request a l/r hem at 30" and 30.5 but was told T&Y could not hem to different lenghts. It may take a few minutes to cut to different lenghts so I can't understand why my request could not be accomodated. That would have been an example of professional customer service especially since you did a Bhzad special recently. That being said, I love your line and it's innovative denim. Thanks for listening.
