The pizza, which is their main food item is very mediocre. The pizza is like half crust with barely any toppings. Ambiance and beer are nice though.

Gorgeous decor. Great music. Friendly, accommodating, and efficient service. Cassiopée was a smooth dessert cocktail, Perle noir was very strong. We were in a rush or would have ordered more.

J'ai visité la Taverne Atlantic un lundi soir achalandé (une des premières belles journées de l'été). Nous avons attendu 30 min à une table sans qu'aucun serveur ne vienne nous voir. Nous avons dû demander à un serveur qui passait pour de l'eau. Nous sommes finalement allés nous asseoir au bar (de notre plein gré) en demandant très gentillement à être servi. La serveuse s'est excusée, par principe, mais ne semblait pas du tout désolée. Ils ont mis 1h de plus à nous apporter nos assiettes. Pizza au champignon un peu trop sèche, mais la pizza au saucisse était ok. Les choix de vin sont bons toutefois.
Je fréquente régulièrement les restaurants/bar à Montréal et j'ai été très déçue de cette expérience où le service était nettement inférieur à ce que j'ai l'habitude de recevoir à Montréal. En plus, la facture était assez élevée au final (175$). Très dommage, car j'habite assez proche et j'aurais voulu revenir pour profiter de la terrasse.

Great drinks and awesome upscale bar food. The hotdogs and poutine were amazing. Also enjoyed the Cesar asparagus.

The virgin ceasar is amazing kale and griot salad memorable. Art deco and surprisingly beautiful decor. Very confortable place, if you get there early!

Je n'ai que des bonnes choses à dire de cet endroit. Non seulement l'endroit est fabuleux mais de plus la bouffe est tjrs surprenante et délicieuse

Quand le serveur est venu prendre notre commande je n’étais pas prête, mais mon copain oui. Il a pris la commande à mon copain et je lui ai demandé un 2 minutes. Il n’est jamais revenu. On a reçu la pizza et ensuite l’entrée à mon copain. Il a partagé avec moi, car sinon je n’aurais rien eu. Le serveur n’est revenu que pour nous faire payer.
De plus, pendant que nous étions là, un serveur est venu déposer une coupe de quelque chose, mais nous m’avions rien commandé. Une autre personne n’a pas eu son drink j’imagine.

La pizza était bonne, mais l’entrée de crevette de sept îles est un peu décevante. C’est dommage, car l’endroit est beau et l’ambiance est bonne. Mais le service ne donne pas envie d’y retourner.

Très bel endroit plusieurs amateurs de bieres vins cidres et mousseux seront enchantés. Belle terrace sur le toit. Nourriture excellente cuisine très propre. Bravo

Right when you walk in, you’re immersed in the amazing ambiance of the place. There’s a little pizza parlour in the front and then the back is the big open bar. Dimly lit, great music and awesome decor. This place also has one of the best natural wine selections I’ve ever seen. I had a group of 4 people and we split 2 bottles of wine, a poutine and a pizza. Definitely recommend if you’re in the area.

Très bel endroit aux accents année 1950. Bonne ambiance. Bonne sonorisation. La terrasse sur le toit est fantastique. Plusieurs types de chaises pour s’asseoir. Vin bio. Menu un peu limité (pizza, pogo, Poutine) mais correcte.

Le positif: L'endroit est superbe, la terrasse sur le toit présente une vue spectaculaire, la sélection de vins, cocktails et bières est vaste et la nourriture était bonne, présentant de bonnes portions.

Le négatif: on nous sert une ''pinte'' qui n'en est pas une (verre de 12 ou 16onces, définitivement pas 20 onces), le service lors de notre passage était froid et expéditif (se faire répondre: ''non, vous ne commanderez pas de nourriture tout de suite, ça devra attendre. '') et on cherche le personnel au courant de la soirée.

Belle sélection de vin et bière. Bouffe de casse-croùte: pizza, pogo, poutine, etc. La terrasse sur le toit est parfaite pour l'apéro après le travail. L'intérieur est très bien aussi.

Le resto et la terrasse sont magnifiques! Les cocktails sont délicieux. Le service est impeccable. La nourriture est trop excellente. Hidden gem!

Personnel à l'écoute et de bon conseil dans la sélection des vins. Terrasse hyper trendy et agréable! Parfait pour une soirée entre amis ou entre collègues.

L'endroit est parfait! La décoration intérieure et extérieure est divine.
Concernant les plats, le "carrot dog" vaut le détour ainsi que la pizza kale à partager. Ils ont également un grand choix de vin et le serveur nous a très aimablement orienté vers celui qui nous conviendrait le mieux (il ne s'est pas trompé!).

Excellente place pour sortir à Montréal!

Superbe lieu. La salle est spacieuse et bien décorée, on a envie d'y être. Superbe sélection de bières, vins et cidres locaux, natures, bruts. Et une terrasse pas piquée des vers sur le toit.

Superbe taverne pour sortir boire et manger un morceau, sans prétention, avec des amis, comme dans le temps! J'aime la symétrie du bar, le look and feel, la cabine téléphonique. Endroit sympathique, malgré l'acoustique.

Well what you feel inside is different from what you see outside, great service, drinks a bit pricey, food is reasonable price and food taste, we had kale pizza and poutine and they were great, the music is a bit loud for talking but great vibe and music and on top the service again is great

An absolutely gorgeous space. Amazing high end comfort food & cocktails served up by fast, friendly staff. An absolute gem of a spot.

Food and alcohol were great. Good wine recommendations. Our waiter was a bit awkward.

On m'en avait beaucoup parlé, et la Taverne Atlantic a délivré l'expérience souhaitée! Endroit super design et convivial, plus grand qu'on le croirait de l'extérieur. Le staff est tellement sympathique, 5 etoiles! Pizza Kale succulente, et une délicieuse reco de vin. La bartender nous a fait des cocktails aussi, tout aussi délicieux. Déjà hâte d'essayer la terrasse. Je recommande fortement.

Superbe atmosphère et personnel très aimable. Nous avons adoré. Nous avons pris quelques verres seulement. Nous y retournerons pour goûter la pizza!

Very nice place. Looks like not much from outside but very good looking inside, great waiters, nice choice of natural wines, good choice of music and nice decor. Love it and recommend it to anyone

The service was slow even though the waiters were nice, table cleanup took a very long time. Also, on one occasion I had to order my drink 3 times before getting it.

The location itself was pretty cool. Music was loud for my taste.

And finally, putting a cactus right behind somewhere people sit is not a good idea. I'm bald and I pricked my head many times throughout the night.

I highly recommend this place!

A very popular place in a "no man's land" area of Montreal. A little louder than a speakeasy but it's overall a good concept. You can order food or go there just for a drink. Good for a first date type of experience as well.

The place look amazing and have this new york vibe to it, definitely the place to be in the neighborhood. It could get very loud though during the busy days so maybe not for an intimate occasion. They serve pizza and hot dogs and the kitchen is open very late so a very nice and cheap options for the night owls. Extensive beer menu, cocktails are creative, very nice wine list as well.

Went about a month ago. Had the worse service. We waited 20 minutes at the table before one of the server came and gave us menus. Came back 25 minutes later to take our order (2 glasses of wine). It took another 30 minutes to get our wine. When we were done, ordered another round. Waited another 20 minutes, our server forgot to punch our order.after 45 minutes, we decided to cancel our order by waiving to a busboy, as our server just never came round. Took another 20 minutes to get the bill. As we were leaving, the manager asked us how was our night. I responded honestly and explained what just occurred. Took my email down and told me he would make up for this. A month later, still nothing. Disappointing and overrated. AVOID.

L’ambiance est incroyable. La bière est bonne et tout a l’air bon sur le menu. Il y a beaucoup de place mais on ne se sent pas perdu dans un grand espace. La terrasse fait rêver.

Bel endroit dans un coin douteux. Bon service (une fois que les serveurs te remarquent). Excellent produit Boréal spécialement pour la place. La bière La Frette est vraiment bonne, bravo.
Bravo aux propriétaires qui osent embellir ce quartier glauque avec un bel endroit. L’intérieur est bien présenté mais tres bruyant et ce n’est pas la faute de la musique. Mais on n’a qu’à parler plus fort

Bel établissement avec personnel sympathique, superbe terrasse sur le toit avec jeu de pétanque. La pinte de bière à 10$ minimum m'empêche toutefois de donner 5 étoiles.

After a great first visit, I took two other people here on a Friday night. Space was busy but we were happy to wait for a table. Staff rudely said that there are "many other people" waiting for tables and did not offer to take our names. Moments later, we sat down in an newly open seating area near the door that we thought was for waiting for tables; we were told this was area was "for someone else" after getting situated. At that point, with no place offered to stand and with us not made to feel particularly welcome in the room, we opted to leave. Recommendation is to either commit to the "tavern" vibe with more open seating, or have someone tasked with managing a list for tables.

Beautiful space and very tasty simple food. Poutine was great, as was the hotdog and fries. Prices for beer were expensive, but it is worth it given the unique, detail-oriented, decor and vibe. Will definitely go back again!

Amazing ambiance and beer selection! Tasty pizza! Can't wait to visit the rooftop terrace in the summer. A+ poutine.

Totalement en amour avec ce resto! Le décor est parfait, le staff est super et sans prétention et l'ambiance était animée quand j'y suis allée, un jeudi soir. Tout ce qu'on a commandé était savoureux (gros shoutout à la pizza Q. Q.et au hot-dog all dressed), le menu brille par sa simplicité.

Coup de Coeur! La terrasse sur le toit est magique, et on adore la bouffe de type cantine, savoureuse et abordable!

Cool look to the place and it was busy and the place to be. Even with that we got a table and were seated promptly. The service was quick but the attitude was horrendous. The service staff was not familiar with the menu and didn’t seem to care we were there. The Caesar salad was soggy and small and not worth the ten bucks. We had QQ pizza and the cheese on it was delicious but the crust had room for improvement- it too was soggy and lacked the zest that I would want the service to make up for.

Superbe espace converti en casse-croute / bar retro / terrasse rooftop. Chaque lieu est unique et forme un tout tellement agréable qu'on y retourne.
