Terrasse Place D'Armes

La terrasse s'illustre par sa splendeur, cependant, les plats se sont révélés dépourvus de saveur, en particulier le tartare de saumon. Le service, lui aussi, faisait défaut. En revanche, les cocktails ont su conquérir nos papilles.

I sat here in the sun for several hours sipping beers and enjoying ceviche while watching the entertaining and lovely people of Montreal stroll in and out. Highly recommended, don’t miss this gem.

Endroit très sympathique offrant une vue sur Montréal à couper le souffle. Les cocktails sont originaux et la planche de charcuterie: un régal. Un endroit parfait pour passer un bon moment.

Rooftop bar with fun drinks, perfect for an afternoon gathering. No place better on a hot day, you'll have a great breeze here. Can't comment on food, we just had drinks.

Always great! The views.ambiance. Very pleasant. The food is great too. Our waiter was very helpful.

We went in to eat, drink and have a good time. We sat on the high tables which had a nice view however, this terrace has an infestation of wasps. There were wasps everywhere around the bar and roof and they kept coming near us and in our drinks. We asked to move seats but the wasps kept coming around. The waitress told us we couldn’t change our drinks for new ones because wasps would just come back and do the same thing. We didn’t even end up eating because the wasps were super annoying. We just paid for our drinks and left. And when we asked about the wasps the waitress said they can’t remove the nests because they are “too high on the roof”. Pretty dumb response since the terrace is literally on the roof. Don’t recommend

The Bar at terrasse place d`armes is amazing! The staff were amazing especially Felix and Simon! Both bartender we're so nice and friendly! I would recommend the place 100%

Très bel endroit, mais sur un menu de 6 plats principaux, 3 n'étaient plus disponible, un vendredi soir à 20h30. Difficile de combler les goûts et restrictions alimentaires de tous. Ça a pris 25 min avoir une réponse de la cuisine pour savoir si nous pouvions substituer du bœuf par du poulet d'un autre plat dans le burger puisque l'option que nous voulions n'était pas disponible, et entre temps, un autre plat n'était plus disponible.
La vue est très belle par contre, ça comble pour le prix à payer pour une simple assiette de fromage (40$ avec les taxes et le pourboire.pour du pain un peu sec, 3 sortes de fromages, des pistaches et des raisins.). Un gros oui pour la vue et l'ambiance, mais autrement, un peu déçue d'avoir payé 140$ pour deux personnes et ne pas avoir mangé ce que l'on voulait.
Merci toutefois aux serveurs et serveuses qui sont très accommodants.

Extremely poor customer service-unfortunately a "no star" rating is available. Reservations were made several weeks ago; we checked the weather today and became concerned that due to the terrace location that there may be a problem. We were reassured when their website noted "coverage" available in the event of rain. To be sure we left a message around 5 pm requesting a call back -our reservation was at 8 pm. We did not receive a callback, so we were pretty confident that all was well. Just as we were about to enter the restaurant at 8 pm we got a call that our reservation was canceled due to the weather-it had not yet started to rain but they were obviously responding to the weather forecast as we had been hours earlier.
I think really poor customer service-obviously no regard or respect for the customer. I am really happy I did not eat there-If this is the respect that is shown upfront, wonder what goes on in the kitchen-

Terrasse Place D’Armes was great! I would suggest to come late afternoon so it’s not that hot or cold either, just a perfect summertime heat and you can catch the sunset while enjoying the view of old Montreal. Furthermore, the server we had was really sweet, she smiles every time whenever we speak! For food, I had a the Atlantic salmon with asparagus and sweet potato purée and it was amazing but i felt the plate serving was not enough considering the prices

The view is amazing and the music good. However the service was a bit poor (I hope it was just disorganised the night I went there).
The cocktails were not that great, but the food was good!

Great place to go out for dinner. Very nice view of the city, especially during the night. Great drinks and the food was delicious
