Tevere Express

After being a weekly customer of Place Tevere Pierrefonds for over 20 years we switched a couple of years ago due to a real decrease in quality. When our new pizzeria lost power today we decided to give Tevere another try. The quality has gotten even worse. Not even worth ordering from Tevere anymore. Complete waste of money.

So. Where to start? First and foremost I used to have an emotional attachment to this place.l was a phone girl at the age of 14 at the Tevere Ste-genevieve location where the real pizzaiolos knew what they were doing, straight italians! The whole staff, who worked there for at leaaaast 20 years, alllll left when they tore down this staple and turned it into this horror of a franchise. Anyways, besides the point.
Every now and then just to get 1% of the taste i used to enjoy so deeply, i order pizza for my family and its always a hit or miss. The consistancy is never the same. Tonight, we ordered an Extra Large (16") and received a Large (14"). I called and the owner rudely took the phone convo to another level. This man was trying to convince me that he did not know where the mistake was from.obviously the receptionist put 14" on the bill order instead of 16" and says he will make me an extra 10" pizza to make up for the size.anyways after some arguing he finally decided to make the 16" with a touch of attitude! Zerooooo experience in customer service and i dont understand how hes still the owner and giving, what used to be such a great pizza place, such a bad rep!

Manque un item lors de livraison. Le restaurant se fou complètement du service client. Leur attitude: commande, prend se qu'on te donne et plaint toi pas.parce qu'il raccroche la ligne au nez quand il ne veule pas trouver une solution.
Incapable d'offrir un service en français en plus.

Got asked for tip by the driver, which i think is unprofessionnal considering i already gave him some.
You guys should pay your drivers better instead of less than minimum wage, very not cool on your part.
I always support local, but i never agree on exploiting people and even though its not of my business i dont agree at all.
Food is good but not worth the increase of price, but thanks for the meal tho

Although the pasta itself was average, the sauces were amazing. They had strong flavours and coated the pasta well. They weren't overwhelmingly salty nor watery. Each one has distinct and strong flavours which went well also with the bread that came with the pasta. The bread itself however was a bit tough on the outside. The inside was fluffy and a bit chewy which wasn't too bad. I really enjoyed how they presented the salad, having each ingredient separated. Although it doesn't look that great, it still makes me happy for some reason. The vinaigrette that accompanied the salad was also great. It tied up the ingredients very well and made the whole salad tasty. The wings and fries on the other hand were very basic. They didn't taste anything, a bit plain and bland, which made me wonder why it wasn't served with any sauces. The best part is that the food here is not expensive if we compare to a lot of other restaurants. For only 13-14$, you get to pick from so vary variations of pasta and sauces which all comes with bread. The portions are very generous for the price they charge. It was an overall great experience and I definitely look forward to trying more types of sauces they offer.

Called to place an order and the man on the phone told me since I was further away from the address that the minimum charge would be 35$ when I only wanted 2 things. Then he told me it would get there in 45 mins to an hour. He got there in 30 minutes, got mad when I tipped him 1.50 when he got here in half the time he said he was going to. One of the items I ordered was a cheesecake that was completely frozen inside. Frost and all. Completely unsatisfied with the service and overall restaurant.

This is very good pizza! I had it since the beginning of 1 until they closed near me! I still remember the memories I would have with my grandmother so to tevere, this is childhood…?

I have been ordering there for 30 years and it's very good. I must recommend the Tevere pasta with the meatballs and obviously the pizza is great!
