Thai Express Restaurant Gatineau

Pad thaï assez décevant. Aucun oeuf dans la recette, pas vraiment d’oignons verts, beaucoup trop de sauce, du poulet très coriace et un morceau de brosse de wok dans le mélange en prime. Bref, j’ai l’impression que ça ne goûte pas le Thaï Express. Je n’y retournerai plus.

Service de moins en moins bon. Malheureusement je ne serais pas surpris si le restaurant viendrait qu'à fermer d'ici 1 ou 2 ans.

Toujours le meilleur pad thai en outaouais, qualité, service rapide, ils répondent à nos demandes, super employé, pas toujours sociable mais ce sont des pro pour les pad thai!

Each time I come here I'm disapointed, either it's not what I ordered or the taste is not the same as other Thai Express.
Returned my tom yum soups, the broth was far from being red, looked and tasted like water with a small amount of lemongrass. They do not put tomatoes as advertised because they dont have them. They dont seem to care about their customers. Im surprised they are still in business. Love the one in Place du Centre.

Ate from this location last night only to get extreme food poisoning. I have been pucking with diharreah and weakness since 9pm last night. Had to go to the ER where i waited hours in agony! Please dont eat from here.

Rude Manager and he was making fun of people who show SPC card. Not professional at all. Food tasted very average compared to les promenade mall Branch.

I just ordered 2 general thai using a coupon that you deliver to all addresses in the area.
The person who took the coupon is the same.one who did my order. It was all rice barely 4 chicken. I am really dispaointed.i. Will never visit this place anymore. If you want to treat your customers this way when they use coupon why you send us coupons to our address. Plus when we use coupon we are still paying money. I paid 25$ this is really uneccaptable paying 25$ to eat rice

I am a huge fan of tum yum soup. I ALWAYS ask for 5 times spicy.on montée paiement theyr refused it, i got a reply from the cook '''i dont have enough''. So now i go to thai expess at ''les promenades de l outaouais at the food court.i ask them for tum yum soup 5 times spicy, everytime they do it with a big smile and they even ask me if i want a little extra coup of spices on the side.now thats what a call reall good service. Since that day i always go to the thai express at the food cour at the promenade de l outaouais, the service is impecable and the staff is always smillling.if you want to eat a really good tom yum soup go to the one at the promenade ðe l outaouais, they are by far the best.

En général les plats sont excellents. Naturellement, je n'ai pas goûter à l'ensemble du menu.
Juste un petit bémol, les plats fait avec les crevettes, à mon goût à moi, les crevettes sont trop cuit elles sont durs, elles goûtent l'eau et ne sont même pas équeuter.

Showed up at the opening hour one day, there was no employees inside. When a shop shows no sign of life at the moment it's supposed to be opened, it shows that the employees don't care.

Ce n'était pas la première fois que j'y était allé, mais c'est probablememt la dernière fois que je vais y aller. Mon amie et moi avions commandé des caris. Moi le jaune et elle le rouge. De plus, j'avais demandé que le miens soit épicé. La sauce était tellement liquide qu'elle a coulé au fond, donc j'ai eu la chance de manger du poulet bouilli essentiellement. De plus, je sais que la personne n'a rajouté aucune épice parce que je sais à quoi les piments ressemblent et il n'y avait aucune trace en plus que mon riz (qui avait la plupart de la "sauce") ne goûtait aucunement épicé. J'ai mangé du riz mouillé avec du poulet bouilli.

Si ça n'aurait été que mon plat, j'aurais cru que peut-être la personne avait juste manqué son coup, mais la même chose est arrivé à mon amie. Je crois que ce Thaï express dilue trop leur caris et maintenant je me rappelle pourquoi j'évite ce Thaï express pour aller à celui aux Promenades ou même à Hull.

I thought I ordered my pad Thai with no eggs and didn't realize till I got home but when I called back they were so nice and remade it for me. I actually love this Thai Express location so much since they're always super nice but especially this last time they were super sweet! Great job!

Updated review! April 2021 (see the older review below) : gave it another try (3 times a charm!) because my boyfriend insisted, I was hangry so I caved it. I’m glad I did! Their found really improved, it was really good, no funny taste, was fresh, we all loved our dish. It did taste like pad Thai, yay you! You got it!

« Beurk. So the business wrote me here so I email them with my comments. Here they are: Im a huge Thai food lover and accept there are many range of flavours in one type of cuisine. Alright. Had a pad Thai, did not taste anything like a pad Thai. And the beef dish was even worst. This was my second visit even though I didn’t like it the first time I thought it was maybe just a one time deal, but my food had a funny taste, like I should not be Eating this and I even threw it away. And I never threw food away ever, not even if it’s expired.  «

Repas trop fade. Les employés rient des clients en parlant dans leur langue pensant que le client ne comprend pas ce qu'ils disent.

Toujours difficile je connais pas beaucoup les plats pas assez d'explication mais j'aime beaucoup la nourriture

Commande pour livraison à Cantley: tout était délicieux et chaud. C’était une première fois mais, on vous assure; pas la dernière!
Copieux, savoureux et pimenté à souhait!

Si ça continue comme ça va falloir avoir le coeur fort pour manger leurs affaires. Très sale et on ne voit pas en arrière, une chance.

Nous sommes allez à ce restaurant pour un Pad Thaï et une soupe Tom Yum.

Malheureusement, ce fût un des pires repas.
C'est la dernière fois que nous irons là.

Le poulet du Pad Thaï était tellement dur que cela était difficile à manger.

Puis, la soupe malheureusement autre que les nouilles, le bouillon et quelques cubes de Toffu il n'y avait rien d'autre. Puis, le bouillon n'était pas très bon il goûtait très graisseux

Si ce n'était pas qu'on reste à 30 minutes du restaurant nous aurions raporter le tout et demander un remboursement

J'ai commandé un Tom Yum.je n'ai pas été informé qu'il n'y aurait pas de carottes, coriande, tomate et tout ce qui est sensé se retrouver dans le Tom Yum (mis à part les nouilles et le poulet). J'aurais pris autre chose tout simplement. Je suis déçu parce que nous sommes descendu à Gatineau pour acheter nos repas et nous vivons à 30 minutes de ce restaurant. Vérifier vos achats avant de quitter.

A 5 reprises, j’ai eu un commentaire négatif à dire sur la cuisson des aliments, je préfère faire la route pour me rendre sur la rue (boulevard Saint-Joseph que ici)

D habitude j adore le thaï mais l a un souper au poubelle, restaurant mal propre, arrivé a la maison notre supposée soupe n avait aucun bouillon c était que des nouilles, presque pas de sauce sur mon pas thai. Un beau 30$ au poubelle.

C'est toujours bon mais à cause de la Covid, pas moyen d'avoir de petites sauces ou d'arachides. Ils pourraient peut être en avoir de prêts dans des petits pots d'avance et les offrir au monde? Service rapide et efficace comme d'habitude.

Thai express has always been one of my favourites but this location’s quality of food has gotten really bad over the last 1-2 years. The pad sew noodles are barely tinted brown anymore and almost transluscent ans I always have to look for the very rare/non-existant greens, very often finding only 1 tiny piece of brocoli per container. In the past, it was my favorite dish from this food chain but this location has not been following proportions for the recipes and this is very disappointing. There are not a lot of these im the region and I think they should try and read their review and try and bring up their game as they will loose a lot of customers and are damaging the franchise/company brand and reputation.

C'est un très bon dépanneur.et généralement je prends le path thai au tofu… C'est pas la 1ere fois que j'y vais.mais ce que je déplore.surtout.lorsqu'il non pas de caissière bilingue… Car les M.qui dirige cet entreprise.ne parlent PAS et ne comprennent PAS le FRANÇAIS.lol.lol.

I rarely have any problems there, though last time was slow, order had a few mix ups and the staff didn't see very happy mistakes happen though.

A 13 dollar shrimp soup with 4 pieces of shrimps in it. Well. That's pretty much in line with the General Tao dish I got in my first attempt. There was 4 pieces of breaded chicken in the whole meal but the bread crust was so thick I couldn't even taste the chicken. This resto is good for vegans even if you order meat based dishes.
