Today (16th December 2023) I was at the Bay. (Fairview mall point clair) Chanel counter.
The Bay needs to get some sales staff.
Who value their customer's. (three sales persons in total) one was already serving a customer.
The Asian sales person N the other older sales person looked at me like they are giving me free stuff. Answering my question with passive aggressiveness. It was like they expected me to buy as soon as I walked in to the counter, or get the hell out of here kind of attitude, not willing to help. Halfway my question she just left not even excuses. I just stood there not knowing what was happening.just then the one who was serving the customer came to me N offered to help. She knew how to greet N smile. I was surprised atleast one staff was nice.
Other two didn't even know how to Smile atleast with me.may be they looked at my skin colour N judged.
I bought just one item from Chanel N headed to Sephora where the customer's are welcome with a smile N served with care.
Bay needs to train their staff to be of better service, at least be polite, N teach them to smile.after all it is the customer's who keep the shop open despite the colour of the skin they pay the same price for what they buy.
I have been a Bay customer for more than 25 years.looks like the Bay days are coming to an end.

Today my mother and I walked in the store at 8: 40ish pm and by 8: 55 pm was sent bouncing from one cash register to the next because every single one of your clerks had refused to process 2 dresses we wanted to buy under pretext that their « register was closed »… I’d like to emphasize that it was not 9 pm yet… we arrived at your last register, unfortunately for us it was already 9: 03 pm… being reasonable, you tell yourself it’s only two dresses I’ll come back tomorrow and let it go…But this nasty lady at the perfume stand looked at me up and down before, like the rest of your employees, claiming that she had already closed her register after finishing up with another customer. Passing her by looking for a way out at 9: 03 pm, my mother asked her which door was open and that perfume clerk did not look up because she had just started counting her cash. I proceed to repeat my mothers question twice until I finally earned her acknowledgement, looks at my face with a condescending smile and points at the back door. If one day I’m in the mood for some lack of common courtesy and passive aggressiveness I can visit your Bay.

I was at the baie today in shoe section, every worker was surprisingly very helpful except this one worker. Sanaa, constant dirty looks, very unhelpful i did not appreciate it whatsoever i would not recommend going to see her when coming here!

Thank you Thierry who works at the perfume counter, he is very knowledgeable and really knows his stuff, always kind and honest and can quickly find the best scent for me, I have bought over 9 perfumes from him and shall continue to seek his advice when purchasing! Great employee with a down-to-earth and welcoming demeanor:) would definitely recommend him if you are looking to purchase a gift for yourself or a separate party! Xoxo

Today I bought boots from the shoes department and the person helping me (Isabel) was very helpful and didn't mind me taking my time to make a decision. Although it was a busy day today she kept coming back and asking me if I need everything. And the bay had very good prices for the boots. Exceptional experience at the bay thanks to Isabel.

Worth service at HBC Fairview pointe Claire return counter
We returned a kettle April 29th was purchase on HBC on line
The cashier her nana is Sarah new at the bay didn’t know what to do called the manager also didn’t know what to do and finally they told us to call customer service
Until today may 39th we didn’t get are m’ont back we been calling customer service so many times and went to the store another manager told us that the cashier is not experienced and she did it wron so she fix it the problem and still didn’t get are money back and no one knows anything at the store and the customer service and we’re out $65.00

I've been shopping there for years. Men's department, second floor. Help was always available. I've bought items on line and some returned and never had any issues. They have great selection, and yes it's expensive but I've always waited for sale.

So disappointed with the West-Island Bay. They don't open late on weekday evenings ever since covid, which is not helpful for people who work and avoid Faiview on weekends. Also dislike how pricing is never clear. Sometimes things are a great deal but that info isn't clear until you get to the cash. The ventilation in the store is muggy and needs updating desperately. They will no longer get my business.

I recently visited the Pointe Claire in the men's department and had a very negative experience with the customer service. The associates were rude and displayed a poor attitude, but what really stood out was the condescending and unhelpful manager, Anne with curly hair. Her behavior was unacceptable and it was a disappointing shopping experience overall. I hope the store takes measures to improve their customer service and hold their staff, including the manager, accountable for their actions.

Aucun service en français au service a la clientèle.
J ai acheté des pantalons en ligne je voulus les retourner surprise des frais de 10$ pour le retour oui gratuit en magasin.
On est loin de ce genre de service en 2023 apprenez de vos compétiteurs eu on pas de frais!

My dad just went there today for a pair of shoes he's over 90 years old no service at the store, I tried to call to see if I could make an appointment, no answer, the old man just wants a pair of shoes because he still wants to walk but he can't stand around waiting

I recently purchased a shirt from La Baie, but unfortunately I lost my receipt and was unable to return it. Although the store was able to find my purchase history, they were unable to make an exception due to the high demand during the Christmas period. While I understand the store's policy, I was disappointed that I was not able to return the shirt. However, the store has a great selection of clothing and I had a positive experience shopping there overall. I would recommend La Baie to others, but suggest they keep their receipts in case they need to make a return. "

It’s twice now in the past few years I’ve gone. I’m standing at the counter and will not receive service. The male worker with white hair and glasses both times is clearly not doing anything but will not approach me because of my appearance. I am dressed as a farmer. I stand there long enough to feel personally insulted. I say fine I’ll go buy it somewhere else where I get service out loud. I do not appreciate this, and it shouldn’t be happening. My money is as good as someone dressed pampered.

My in store experience was good however the delivery process is a nightmare and completely turned me off from the bay. I was waiting all morning for my couch to be delivered. I had gotten an unknown call at 10: 30 but I missed it and there was no voicemail and no number to call back. I call the customer service to see if that call was my delivery and the lady said that there is still time for them to arrive as my set delivery time was until 11: 50. So I waited until after that and called back when I still have not received the couch. The lady then tells me that they did show up and they called me to tell me they were here? What kind of delivery process is this? They didn’t even get OUT OF THE CAR to KNOCK ON MY DOOR. No message was left so I couldn’t even contact the delivery guys. What kind of stupidity is that? Never buying furniture from the bay again.

Update on this: we managed to get a hold of the delivery company and they told us the bay had not yet put in another request for it to be delivered so there is literally nothing we can do.
